A longer coat maybe for the curtains, a quilted nova coat, or blanket coat (by small museum)…?

Oh great ideas! I have the nova coat pattern too! I am not sure of the other one. Will have to check it out 😊

On the curtain with the large squares, I think trapunto would be gorgeous rather than quilting. Then make it into a jacket of some kind. And that Liberty floral is wonderful.

I had never heard of trapunto before! I looked it up and it is beautiful! I agree it would look very special! It would also mean learning something new which would be lovely. Thank you so much for the suggestion!

The curtains are lovely! I can see it as a jacket with one of the panels on the back. They’d also make lovely individual quilted placemats or a table runner if that’s your style 😊 I can also see it as a dress, maybe one with a strappy bodice (Kew dress?) with a longer gathered skirt to show off plenty of the panels.

Thank you for your ideas, I agree with you that whatever I make will need large pannels/areas of fabric to show off the large pattern. I like the idea of a quilted coat! Or a summer dress.

I think the by hand London quilted coat would be lovely in the curtain fabric

Oh fabulous idea, I do love a good pair of dungarees! Is that for the curtain fabric? 😊

@@ameliaellensews either ! Both would work with the more structured fabric
