The internet searches, (plus all the other evidence), wasn’t enough for the jury in the Caylee Anthony case. Lost a little faith in juries after that trial. Casey Anthony walked scot-free.

Me too. Anthony's verdict came after that of Arias'. I was done with jury verdicts after those ludicrous verdicts.
I‘m still angry at the Judge allowing the defenses SA accusations against her father in the opening statements and NO evidence of this was presented during the trial. That’s not allowed.

It amazes me how many people commit murder but bring their phone with them; like the phone won’t help triangulate their location and tell on them. I reason that people who google search things directly related to their crime are too concerned with humans investigating them that they don’t think about technology telling on them.

Not anymore. Most libraries require a library card to log in/use their computers, and most require a photo ID to get said library card.
Edit; Still might work, not sure what the process is for authorities to know if you used a library computer. Guess it depends on investigation procedures.
