We have just moved in next door to the church, it is really interesting to see this video. Ringing the bells looks a lot harder than I thought!! You guys do a great job.

Thank you for your question. I personally have not heard of any Devon ringers rising up bells in a sequence of changes. However, that said, it would be possible on a fairly light set of bells. Sometimes, for a change, we will lower the bells in queens (eg. 135246) or in a reversal (eg.654321) but this is fairly unusual. Kind regards.
