Not fishy at all! Love the sound of that big twin.
Good video again Mr Fish and good to see you take the Africatwin offroad.
Thanks fella
Perfekt Ride, Perfect Test..👍
That exhaust 👌
Great vid John! That bike sounds amazing 👍👍
Thanks 👍
That bike sounds excellent.
I have dunlop sportmax on my street triple. Not long had them on but so far good. Very impressed with them and they look the business
👍
Looks like a great track and the tyres seem great. Surprised there were no other bikes/walkers/ push bikes/ horses to contend with!
The chook track looks like our paved roads in Australia. I've just completed a 1500km run on my 2023 klr 650 adventure over two days. I'm looking for new tyres. These are high on my shopping list. Great video.
I loved them
Great video thank you for posting it, it would be nice if you do a comparisent to Pirelli Scorpion tires. Could you please share the location of the green lane you did, it looks really good
It'll be interesting how well they'll handle the winter season. If they are good, maybe get a set for a certain CB125F. 😎
Ha ha , I don’t think they do them in that size
I have personal setting set on each of my two bikes. They are if I am riding then the settings are established by my level of hang over. This controls the throttle hand and how quickly it moves.
Sounds like you like the tyres!!. I've just fitted them to my T7, done about 40 road miles and a gentle green lane...so far so good! If they are as good as the Pirelli Scorpion Rally str's in the wet on the road I'll be happy! Cheers Steve
I had the str on my original twin , I prefer these off road
How do these compare to the STR's on dry pavement?
Yes share more, especially about their off-road perf, these are very new and very little info on them online still unfortunately.
I wanted to get this front but they super expensive so I'm getting k60.ranger
Ace to see you out with the AT on the trails 🙂
Them tyres look good, are on my possibility list once my Motoz Tractionator RallZ tyres need replacing.
Good tarmac grip . But not sure how long they will last
@@Mrfish2015 def be interested to see an update vid once you get to the end of their life! 🙂
That wont take long from my experience with the Rallz, 3k tops
@@Mrfish2015the way u ride, 10k km is minimum imo, even for rear
Great vid John, looking like I’m gonna fit a set of these on Helen’s new AT and my GSA for our trip to Morocco in April, cheers
I got awesome tank bag, but I can't use it when I go offroad. IDK if its because I am short, but I can't lean forward on steep uphills
They look good. My Trailmax Missions lasted amazingly but showed their weaknesses in a couple areas for me. The Missions' hardness loses grip on cold, wet roads and they don't clean well and are surprisingly noisy. Seems with clever design and silica in the compound maybe these have fixed those issues for me. Dear Dunlop, please send me a set and I will be happy to put them on.
Missions are like 70/30, raids are way more off-road worthy, with soft compound but tire life won't be comparable obviously. Raids are imo the least aggressive knobbies
Yes! Casey did say that to Valentino 😅
Enjoyed that thanks and now I’m going to order some for my 890 adventure, would you mind telling me where that lane is I struggle finding any decent lanes in Lincolnshire
Surrey
Set the OffRoad screen to “gold” in settings, with that you will be able to turn off the TC.
I will one day get around to it 😂
Great review, loving’ those tyres and my next set. Gotta ask, is the baffle in or out as exhaust sounds great, just had my Fuel Diablo delivered today! Cheers. Paul. 😎🏍️
Iv fitted a black widow and decat pipe to my ktm adventure it sounds awsome looks good and nice quality and cheep nice bit of kit
How many miles/ kilometers do you have on them now??
What tyres did you use on picos trail and how do they compare? Im doing picos trail next year on a v85tt and am thinking of fitting trailmax raids. Picos looks quite loose on that first section.
I had Avon trekriders on the picos trip .. these are better in every way ..
Excellent video!!! You got to love the AT. Quick question, can you tell us where these green lanes are? They look amazing and not too difficult either… 😊

@@Mrfish2015 thank you very much mate. Actually not too far from me. I definitely give it a try.
you mentioned road pressure several times.....do you actually air your tires down off road on that big bike? I mean to notice a difference in traction you'd probably have to drop down so low you'd be pinch flatting or denting a rim.
Only knock about 10 psi out if I can be bothered lol
Like the look of those tyres cool vid I’m still on my standard Pirelli scorpion. Str have you tried them and do you think the Dunlop is better cheers keep making the shows
I had the str in my 1000 twin they were good but i prefer these , especially off road
Enjoyed that Fish, loving the lane riding i reckon your better than you think mate, unless your just kidding ;-) ;-) saw you riding with Richy and Pete that was something else too ;-)
Ride Safe Mr B \m/
PS Hows Tinder going ???????? lol
It’s going well , thanks
I thought he’s riding was the dogs bollocks he can shift
They look nice , but it's dry though. Not sure i'd pick those up over annakee wilds.
All 50/50s clog up with clay around here .. I have another bike for the wet stuff
Bret Tkacs said that you should be running road pressures on adv bikes almost always so thats not an excuse 😁
Yeah but he’s a CZcamsr , no one listens to them 😂
Gota take your hat off to him😅😄😃🤣
I like him but I absolutely disagree on that, it's basically bs, especially for inexperienced riders. Ride onroad pressures if u like to slide around and pickup ur bike often.
Otherwise I recommend "compromise" pressures or lower pressures for longer /difficult off sections and have small 12v tire pump with u. Not that big problem. I don't use pump, once went home with 1bar in front(lowered for muddy stuff), all was fine
Unless u ride knobbies*, they don't need lowering pressures so much,, but again, everything about 2bar is excessive imo, even for onroad
@@Angry-Lynx I have a At1100, heavy bike with tubes! I did my 1st gravel track with road pressures! Horrid experience! My suspension was out, so had main dealer put it to factory specs, both front and rear was out! Most riders have said to put the front down from 36psi to a min of 22 and the rear from 39psi to 30psi! But again, it depends on the bike, the tyres, terrain and rider!
I was waiting for you to test the stopping power of the tires. You know, in case a wild boar, deer or a tax collector popped out in front of you.
I stopped .. but not for the tax man lol
Why buy an Adventure bike if you aren’t going to put tyres like that,or even more aggressive ones. I always did on the large bikes I owned Honda XLV750,R80GS,Triumph Tiger Trail 750 and R100GS.
If possible, can you get hold of a Triumph Scrambler 400 with a good set of off road tyres.
Over here we don’t have a lot of off road .. they’re the only bikes that fit me too 😂
You had one job 😂😂
😂
Ps where are you riding
