Thank you Dr. Frances Cress Wesling for your hard work and teaching. As a Filipino, I've seen many similarities to the systemic annihilation of my people. If many of you don't know, most Asian nations are fundamentally BLACK. And white supremacy and the destruction of the black race are evident and PRESENT here too. For any black/melanated Asian person out there, these are the guides we must look up to. Thank you Dr. Frances. Peace, love, and blessings to you.

    • @amanda14louise
      @amanda14louise Před 4 lety +37

@@Taylordessalines yes. The first Filipinos are an Aboriginal pygmy group. We call them Negritos, which literally mean "dark skinned". They are closely related to the Aborigines in Australia. Their tribes are spread across the Oceania and South East Asia. The original Filipino has a very different face from the "modern" Filipino.
We've been colonized/terrorized by the Spanish, British, Japanese, and Americans (Jews) for more than 300 years. Our spirituality was stripped away from us by Catholicism, our land was taken away from us, and so our identity.
Filipinos prefer western products, educational institutions and even take pride in landing jobs abroad.
This resulted in the Filipinos' poor knowledge of our own indigenous products. We don't know how to drive our own economy by making our products from OUR vast selection of natural resources. We do not trust each other in business because we were taught that anything brown is to be mistrusted. Our historical achievements have been erased from our memories.
Filipinos do not put the value on their own products. Instead we aim to be employed by the white master, while the white master owns our land and women. They sell our trees, food, and native products. What's worse is that they price and benefit from our goods as we consume their toxic products (food, clothes, tech, services) that are taxed higher and higher every year.
Yes, not many Asians talk about this because we don't know. If you notice, South East Asian countries (except Singapore) are third world countries. Although RICH in natural resources and blessed with the oldest rain forest on Earth, many of us are hungry. Most SEA nations were also fundamentally BLACK and then colonized. It is a lonely journey but it is the ONLY journey worth taking.
Our story is similar to the black Americans, Africans, and South Americans. Colonizers/terrorists are organized and unified. They have a system they've implemented on the rich lands and peoples of the Earth.
Our stories are the same, we have come from the same trauma, we are all fundamentally melanated. Through their terrorism they have separated us, because a unified black people cannot be held down.
Let's continue to spread love and light. Let us organize and unify, in all the corners of the world. Take your identity back ✊🏽

Both Karen and Doc were right. Doc was still at the stage of giving further EXAMPLES of how to UNDERSTAND R/WSupremacy when Karen had moved on to SOLUTIONS. Let me explain. At the hospital, there is a fire code: RACE an acronym for Rescue Alarm Confine Extinguish/Evacuate/Escape. This is kind of a common sense response too. But would a new trainee be able to to these steps in the correct order without training? Most likely not. And I think that is what Karen is saying. What is the code of conduct expected of the one who has come to understand R/WSupremacy? What changes should Black folk make once they understand the concept Dr Welsing is explaining?
In other words, are we doing the right thing by "speaking truth to power?" or should we speak to empower us? Are doing the right thing with the marching, BLM, all the public outcry praying and stuff? Should we be doing more?
So the good Doc was doing analysis, Karen had gone past that to solutions.

Karen, you do not have to defend yourself and be harsh towards the perspective of others. I personally like the show that you provide. Accepting our criticisms, as the viewers, should not stir you so much that it stunts the growth of refining your interviewing skills. You would gain so much more respect and maintain solidarity with your audience if you exude a degree of humbleness in listening and accepting some ‘critical’ feedback. It could very well set you up and catapult your next interview of the next ‘Great’ in place that blesses viewers on a much richer scale. I believe that to be your true intentions for your audience. I hope this reaches you and you don’t come attacking me because that would be the whole point of my message. Sit in the pocket of the advice that you are receiving, allow space for it, because as long as you react negatively to it, the hotter it burns. I had to learn this myself, as have ALL of us at one time or other. You interviewed a very adored person in our Black community. As viewers, we have a right to defend and honor the potential of what our great sister was trying to explain to us as a collective. I thank you for having her on your platform. @Janet Burrus Sister, thanks for your comments. I was refraining from really laying the hammer on this Bafoon. Insecurities, disrespect and brainwashing are descriptors at a minimum. Some individuals want to believe that they are adults, unfortunately many are still mentally immature. Too concerned about their outward reputation to cover up for their intellectual ignorance. Let us continue to pray for Her deliverance from pride.

I read the comments and a lot of people felt that Karen was interrupting the doctor however I didn’t perceive that. She was pushing the doctor to answer her questions not just for herself but for the listeners who may not understand the medical or psychological rhetoric. The younger generation is living through a time where information is received in abundance and with simplicity. When she asked the doctor what should people do, the doctor responded with an answer of how people should think. We can warn people repeatedly about the systems in place and those that are oppressed by them. Black people are aware of this. What people want is clear, concise, and actionable solutions. Thanks Karen for attempting to get the right answers!

@@Baraborn Nah, my journey to Jesus is not my mother's, father's, grandmother's, ancestor's... it's my very own personal journey, one which almost lead me to an undergrad conversion to Islam, then law school agnosticism, but years later redirected me to Jesus. He is real, I have experienced His saving grace in supernatural moments that would be difficult for an unbeliever to fathom, nevertheles, very real moments. Doesn't mean I haven't sinned, been angry with my circumstances and the circumstances of my loved ones, but again, I know He is real.
But don't take my word for it, ask Him to reveal Himself to you in a real, tangible way, a way that only you can know and understand. He will do it... that's why the word says it takes faith only of the size of a mustard seed...
As for Dr. Welsing, she dedicated her entire adult life to helping us understand the psychological implications of the perpetual terrorism we face in this country. Her work has liberated so many, given us the intellectual tools to reject the narrative that we're innately pathological, psychotic, schizophrenic, but rather these are the warfare tactics used by our oppressors. Her mass mental health diagnosis of our people is invaluable... it has helped us to get at the root causes of many our community ills: colorism; "mammyism"; alcoholism; obesity; lesbianism and homosexuality... I mean what greater gift than to understand the state of mental health of your people, none other than the salvation of your soul, I think...

In a broader organizational sense, she answered the question of what to do, now you find experts in each area to help you understand each part. In other words, if you don't know about fire, learn about it.
