@techodyssey Thank you so much for sharing! Love your videos. Can you tell me what “color” that plus is? I’ve been looking for that version in the advertised plus colors and none that I see have that kind of two tone back like the one you have there. Thank you in advance.
The last time I had a Motorola phone was more than 12 years ago. When they brought back the Razr a few years ago, I was psyched, but then disappointed when it didn't come to the US. I tried the Z Flip 2 and wasn't impressed, and when the Razr 2023 came out, I had already opted to go with a Samsung S23 Ultra which I am still currently using. I like so much about these phones, but am scared to be stuck with one that is disappointing compared with what I have now.
Super nice looking devise, love the red color as I did last years model. Purchased the Samsung flip 5 last year just based on reviews I had read concerning the Samsung having the better hinge. Love my flip 5, no problems with it and plan to keep it several years but still just love that red color on the Razr.
Just picked up the 2023 plus model a week ago, while id like the newer cpu and few upgrades, I think it will still be more than capable enough for now.
Do a Performance Vs review with those two and last years I know that the Edge Plus 2023 8 Gen 2 should out perform the 8s gen 3 version coming out this year
I'm pretty pumped up about the new Razr 2024 I still have my Motorola Razr 2023 And I got to say it's held up very nicely still looks like the day I took it out of the box so I'll be upgrading to the new 2024 edition and passing This along to the wifey thanks for the video keep up the good work my friend can't wait for your full review
This years Motorola Razr 50 Ultra apparently comes with a 68w charger but only charges up to 45w? Not sure what that's all about? This years upgrade looks awesome. Not sure whether to go with the green or the two tone blue. That Moto Tag is awesome. I wasn't aware of this product. Thanks for informing us. I'm going to look into it and get one. :)
Please test out the video recording on your review. I had the 2023 model razr+ and had to return it. The audio on video recording at least on a loud environment was not good at all. If Motorola fixed it might consider on trying the razr again 2024 model.
So I gave my grandson the 23 Razr + and have been using the Zflip 5. I prefer Motorola over the Samsung other than Samsung's eco system.. Do you think the Z flip 6 will compare to the new Razr+? Stuck in a loop of which way to go. Thanks!
I wonder if Motorola came up with a solution for overheating. I got a new Razr 2023 a couple of days ago because my previous device literally fried and went blank. Overheating could be software related because of the lack of updates.
I am going to downgrade from the S24U as I find it to big and looking at the Razr plus and the Flip 6 I like the look of the Razr just not sure how will stack up against the Flip 6 and being a Samsung user wondering would I be disappointed moving away from Samsung? any thoughts?
They look good and the hardware is pretty good, but you just gotta be OK with really limited software support if you live with that then you can be happy with the phone
If the Plus version wasn't glossy, it would be perfect for me. Gloss is so outdated and is extremely susceptible to fingerprints. I like the matte design of the other one better, but the front display is unfortunately smaller.
I loved the design of the 2020 razr but the os was so bad and the quality was not good coming from a samsung at the time. Now it looks on par with a nice flag ship but in a fun design!
2023 Razor Plus - I regret buying it. I tried to go back to it every now and then and ended up switching back to the Pixel 8 at the end of the day. 2024 seems to be better l, but based on camera comparison with the Pixel 8, it's still sub par.
Owning the 2020,2022 and ultra 40 razr i will skip this 50 ultra due to lacklustre os updates,on the Motorola community forums not one agent can give us any idea when the 40ultra will be getting our android 14 updates,as for security updates i have been getting the bimonthly security updates,im in Australia,as the agents have stated on the forum security updates are done per phone, not the whole region, in America others have the latedt security patches others are still on May 2023,this is the same for all regions, as for me this will be my last razr untill Motorola/Lenova release updates in a timely manner...I hope this helps a few ppl decide.
That RAZR is truly disappointing - Since January users have to open the phone to use Google Assistant, and Moto is not even committing to fix this critical user-function, despite still advertising that Assistant can be used with the phone closed. It is a serious defect for a phone that promotes usability when closed. The Lenovo/Moto/RAZR support/discussion board shows how little Moto is taking any responsibility of a broken feature Moto specifically promotes. Moto RAZR... outrageous you have to open the phone to use Google Assistant, awkward, not as advertised, more wear on the hinge and screen fold... since Jan '24 - still that way in June. Great idea, but someone dropped the ball on this critical function.
Most of you American CZcamsrs like to make believe you actually have any kind of passion or interest and fully diving deep into Android because that Apple watch on your wrist gives it all away. I guarantee you your main daily driver that has your number that your loved ones and close friends have, is an iPhone because unfortunately over 63% of Americans have iPhones.
It's more like the American CZcamsrs who like Android are still kinda forced to drive both Android and Apple because their friends and family members all mostly use Apple. 😂
2023 motor razr plus had too many issues with the folding screen and possibility of drops causing lines- That phone won't last two years too delicate and the new phone looks cute but looks to have the same issues- Folding phones are more durable and to me the Samsung flip appears more durable nice looking phone but i'll never spend 1k on a phone that looks good if it's not gonna last two yeats
Wow Moto is killing it on the aesthetics if only they would be better about software? Beautiful phones no doubt.
Definitely an attractive phone!

Does this new version now support type c video out?
I'm curious if there's motor tags work on last year's models.
How would you compare it to the Pixel 8 pro? Love the fold factor.
Nice, I got the razr 2023 and I love it, it sounds that the 2024 it's better.
They look good! I'm interested in getting the Razr+ in the blue color. Wonder if any good outer screen protectors will be out at launch?
I’m sure there will be when they launch. At least one or two I would hope, anyway
Nice job I live the phone
when can you order?
Nice 😁
Thanks!
Could've used the SIM tool from the 1st one to open the second one 😁😁
Thought about that but recording on the fly on the roof top presented challenges
Do these new ones both have always on display option? That is the only thing I don't like about my Razr 2023 so I'm hoping they changed that.
I know the plus does. I can't remember if the regular one does but I think so.
I wonder how cases will connect to the top portion of the fold 🤔
Nice video
Thank you!
RAZR should have sharp edges not these rounded edges
Adam when are those coming to the U.S.?
Preorder starts July 10th
These phones are so cute!
How you get it early
Can you test whether there is a slight wiggle when the phone is folded? I remembered having this slight give in last year's Moto.
Hardware strength has improved.
I want it tho 😮
That crease though, so much better than any other flip/fold (samsung)
yes, the Razr 40 crease is barely nolticeable, compared to Samsung which is like a canyon.
Mr. Fisher there in the background.
