Why would the wizards (worst team in the league) give up a first round draft pick and their only center to take a shot on a washed up Wiggins who doesn't fit their timeline and change. I've learned that for some (okay a lot lol) of players in their vitals their potential is capped at their current overall. Even with you adjusting pro/regression rates, they still won't move beyond that mark. It was super tedious, but I've had to manually go through every player and give them some type of potential range, and that might help you out too

"redundant" in regards to Carter and Podz but not redundant when 3 centers are getting playing time and a 4th is waiting in the wings
I wish he changed Carter"s position to PG to balance out the mins. Seeing 0 mins allocated to that position on the rotation menu pained me to see. 2K doesn't take into account the secondary positions so it would have made more sense to change Carter to PG and make his secondary position SG.

have you ever tried lowering “player fame” and “minimum overall rating” in the contract slider settings? you see guys like westbrook take MLE/minimums in the league often now, its really not realistic for guys in their late 30s to be demanding so much money to play. its something i do in my rebuilds and it also helps with how stacked FA gets just a few years in to a rebuild. but great video bro i been watching for years u still grinding🙏🏼

hey steel. im also a big carolina fan and i thought it would be fun to see a 10 year rebuild only using UNC players. To make it more fair you can pick any team you want or an expansion team and pick 3 current unc players in the league to add to your team for free and have a top 5 pick so you can get drake powell or ian jackson guarenteed. maybe you could fleece someone and get both.... anyway it would be awesome if you did this!

Do a 10 year Celtics rebuild. In 2K, Holliday regresses like crazy and Horford retires. Also, teams like the Thunder, Cavaliers, and a few other teams, get more luck with the simultation success.
If you want to do a rookie extension, in the free agency before they’re final year, go to contract extension and you should be able to offer them a contract.
I really appreciate you doing these 10 year rebuilds cause 2k can be so infuriating and choppy sometimes

When sending players to the G league. Increase their shot tendencies. The usually have a +4 or +3 upgrade the following year
