Love her laugh and smile, and seems like a very genuine and honest person as well! Not fake as so many others can be in those situations. Definitely not a poser.
She's very entertaining to watch on every aspect. Talent, Beauty, Brains. She brings it every night professionally, and Theatrically. A perfect fit for the Alice Cooper Band.
I agree 110%. I've seen Alice Cooper live with Nita on guitar 4 times over the past 5 years including last night, and she does an awesome job. I've always been in the lower level and could see the band well. Perfect fit is so true.
Well said broham.
Truly amazing performance at the Scranton PA show thank you Nita!!!!
Nita being discovered by Kip Winger!!! That’s totally awesome!!!! He’s such a down to earth guy too.
I love the fact that she over played her audition first. Shows how humble we all can become.
Got the pleasure of seeing her live with Alice in Nashville and she was amazing. Nita Strauss can flat out play.
Nita has a really great attitude. Very positive energy, highly skilled player, great musical tone and chops. She has done *the work.*
Alice Cooper made a genius move keeping his band young with this level talent. I saw them last year at Cynthia Woods Pavilion, Houston. Strauss was on fire.
I was at that same show. She, Alice and the band kicked ass. Much better than when I saw AC in 1980. They were drunk and sloppy back then.
@@Mtns14000 Yes, AC stole the show. Edgar Winter was good. I thought Deep Purple just died out there - no energy, not crisp.
I saw the same show. But in Dallas. Deep Purple was boring
Nita is a pro. Pros get the choice gigs. Shows up, does the job, brings no drama. Being gorgeous helps - to a point. Gotta have substance.
@Mooky Blaylock And they don't play in Alice Cooper.
@@Krieghandt No but they can form huge bands like Van Halen
Nita is a dude.
They make it sound like she wrote his hit songs, she is a session player.
@@AFuller2020 "It" was picked specifically for the Tran$ image, not the guitar playing. Vince had nothing to do with it. They are all actors. Vince is a lifetime actor and did very well because of it. I am not saying they are not pleasant people, at least how they present themselves. Even that is an act however.
she is absolutely stunning...
moron
rz - I think you may have just called a dude stunning.
Nita's stage energy is absolutely overwhelming - Alice Cooper got lucky catching her ...
She got lucky being hired by the theatric legend
She’s awesome! To work with Alice is a huge step up in her career and she knows it!
I spent my birthday watching Alice Cooper and Nita Strauss performing in Cincinnati! Absolutely amazing!
She's so delightful. Talented. Gorgeous. Intelligent. Personality. Great laugh. Just too cute.
Saw her today play with Alice in the Australian bushfire benefit concert in front of 70000, she was frigging unbelievable, her energy and talent was awesome, the whole performance rocked.
She's gorgeous, talented, intelligent with a wonderful personality.
Absolutely Barry. All these soy boy dupes think this is a girl and she will be their girlfriend one day. There is nothing feminine about her in look or attitude. Its a dude.
Stop drinking the kool-aid, it's a man!
Yup, she's a he, wide, huge shoulders, flat ass and hips, huge skull big hands, big square jaw, not to mention her huge, prominent Adam's apple. The NWO Satanic transgender agenda. #wakeupdummies.
@@vlagamemedia1 and you probably think Alice is a chick........your STOOPID!.......NEXT!
She's adorable
she seems really down to earth and nice, happy for her success.
I love her energy and positivity. I seen her in Louisville on her Controlled Chaos tour and she genuinely has heart for what she does.
She is right- no one can outperform her, this woman is the most amazing musician I have ever seen. And so sweet to boot!! I met her after a concert one night and will treasure those memories forever!!
She is one truly amazing guitarist. 2 or 3 weeks to learn all the music shows her skill level... bad ass!!
Seahawk.Customs.Pc have you seen her play Jason Becker's Perpetual Burn, this gig is a walk in the park
Jason backers perpetual burn
Great advice for anyone serious about doing anything. Go Nita!!
Watched her in Dublin two days ago, absolutely fantastic, super gig, all the band included, one of the best gigs ever :)
Saw Alice Cooper live last Thursday in Appleton, Wisconsin. The musicianship and entertainment value of that show was incredible. Everyone nailed everything.
I heard in an interview in which Alice Cooper said that acquiring Nita opened up more of his tremendous back catalog. Orianthi, who was/is fantastic, was more of a blues-rock player like the other two guitarists in the band. Nita, on the other hand, brings the metal shred component to the mix, which diversifies the sound and opens up more possibilities.
She’s been with AC for eight years now. Nita was a PERFECT fit for his band, and Alice knows it. When you watch their live show, you can’t take your eyes off her. She really is like a whirling blonde hurricane on stage. The show is intensely visual and dramatic, and a running, jumping, gorgeous shredder is just what the genre demands.
She is a really great person to watch! I havent seen her live but watching her on yourtube she put on an amazing show!
I fucking love Nita! She is the one that made me pick up my guitar again
Brains, skills, humor, humility and beautiful- wow!!
Nita is awesome....tremendous guitar player, smart and comes with the total package.
Nita inspiration from your comment on being sober thanks for including that!
Not quite sure I get the few haters here ...what don't you like about her ?.Nita is a great guitarist, very personable , obviously she's very attractive and is answering the questions honestly and she seems very sweet and genuine, to me anyway ..Thanx Nita ..love ya !!!
I had the pleasure of seeing and meeting this amazing guitarist when she was with the iron maidens. What an amazing player!
Undoubtedly she is very stunning, talented, intelligent, and delightful with a great personality. I'm her greatest die hard. And she is my major inspiration. I love her style and personality. Guitar is my life. She exerted a big influence on me. Keep up the great work. Thank you Nita. God bless you always. Much love from Bangladesh.💕💕💕💕💕💕
Never give up, guys. You can be a guitarist like Nita Strauss at any age. Practice Practice Practice and All is coming. Believe that.
whether accidental or from preparation this was great because it didn't have only the same questions/stories us true fans have heard over and over again.
+Event Horizon Productions Thanks! The only planned question is "how did you get the gig with ______". Besides that we just riff about music life.
+Jammcard nice interview! just having a convesation like old pals! what a cool girl!
you don't even know my name
One Hell of a Guitar player, seen her on last UK Alice Tour Amazing
Great interview, I really enjoy this with Nita! Cheers from Mexico!!!
GREAT INTERVIEW!!!! She is awesome!
I got to meet Nita a few times. Once on tour with Alice and on her first solo tour. She's talented, sweet and very cool. Always does a free guitar clinic usually at Guitar Center.
what a great guy to work for ... Cooper is a legend. she got a great gig....the songs were good ...thats why cooper still doing it.
Nita is awesome! Saw her back in the day with the Iron Maidens and she was stunning then and a perfect fit with the Coop!!
Just saw the show last week. Ive seen alot of guitar players in my time . God she has to be one of the best!
I'm a huge Alice Cooper fan, but I ran across this video of this gal and she blew me away! I had no idea who she was! She can play! Unbelievable! I noticed she's a Seahawks fan, saw he sticker under her guitar! My team! I'm now also a fan of her! Nice job!
best interview i have seen in a long time ,so real, congrats Nita
Very down to earth and a really nice person.always humble and gives time when she has it with fans and does guitar clinics..got to meet her and Ryan and actually have one of Ryan's stage worn vest and he's also a a very cool and down to earth guy.
People need to understand that it's about the COMPLETE PACKAGE! There are many things here.
First of all, how many girls do you know in rock that are under 30 that are into something like Iron maiden? Mostly of metal is a guy thing in America with guys that are like 40+. That in itself is a novelty. A younger hot girl that is actually into rock and plays it.
She plays really good, she has the image, the attitude and she's good looking which is a bonus. So obviously it didn't hurt that she's hot but I don't think that's the only reason she got the gig, she still has to prove herself.
Alice Cooper is like 68! He needs some eye candy next to him for the theatrics of it. So there is that aspect of it as well.
As I said from I can tell (and I honestly didn't know who she was 20 minutes ago) she has the following: showmanship, skill, good looks, novelty & youth - in another words she is the complete package.
She's cool as hell. Good for her.
Yup, I was there @ the LA Kiss game and you totally turned the place upside down. Kudos Nita!
She got the gig because she a guitar shredding, gorgeous, Rock Goddess.
She's such an Amazing Guitarist 🤘🤘
Yes, Yes, Yes, Love it !
She is an amazing musician.
Great interview, lots of good stuff here, thanks for posting!
Amazing! Top notch and such a presence on stage!
Her persona off the stage is fabulous , she is SUCH a doll !!!!
I totally dig her.
YEAH !!! I Like her soloing style
shes talented , smart anmd drop dead gorgeous with a great personality and a cute smile :) shes the perfect woman
She got the gig on how she plays with not being afraid to go all out performing. I love here style!!!
Wayne and Garth were not worthy to hang with Alice. Nita Strauss is worthy.
@The Green Pill Mindset He’s come so far from then! Would be an epic if he n Alice did a reunion thing now.
My newest hero!!! Already learned some of her leads ( wasn't easy, you know ). Great player!!
Will be supporting this rock angel.
The first time I saw Nita was on Dec 20, 14 at Paladino's playing the third guitar for the Iron Maidens. A few weeks later I saw her again playing with Alice Cooper at the Hard Rock Cafe in Orlando. In that occasion after the show I was waiting for the elevator to exit the venue, when the elevator door opened there was Nita, but she looked so scared.. she stood behind the 'elevator lady' who strongly told us (the people waiting for the elevator) to wait for the next one. I didn't realize it was her, until my wife told me "Hey that's Nita" . When I saw her I just wanted to say "Hi Nita, I saw you on Christmas at Paladinos, you rock" , but maybe that would have made me creepier, and scare her a bit more... lol
Seriously. Scared of what. Fs
Why was she scared...of elevators perhaps?
Thank you for the interview! I’m a fan! God Bless
One SERIOUSLY badass lady! Beauty + Talent= Nita Strauss!
She's smart. That's nice :)
It's hard to be a good guitarist, otherwise.
thrashingpanic truly inspiring!
I actually have a cool gig story like Nita's Slipknot story. I played a local gig, my first outside show. I was just hanging out during intermission, and a guy I didn't know came up to me. It turns out he was a concert promoter, and he told me he had seen my set. He said he had a show a week or two later, and he had to have me on his show. I spent nine years playing that same venue he promoted.
I am admittedly a huge Dave Matthews, Dead, jam band fan. My GF "dragged" me to see Alice Cooper this past Wednesday. I was freakin blown away by Nita's performance and I'm afraid to say it, but damn I'm a fan now!!!
How she got the gig? Because she's exceptionally talented.
And she’s got great tits and ass
@Jimmy Durex shut the fck up you bitter jackass
richardson correction, he has great tits and ass!
She said to play every gig....then wait until someone comes to break up the band you are in because you will leave.
Alice Copper will always be the best! Not once have I been able to see him in concert. I'm 57 on the 4th of October this year. But him and his family l love alot.
Not everybody lives close in to where the venues are! Living further out decreases one's chances to get to the performances. I live in Dallas Texas a major concert Market whereas if I lived in Muleshoe Texas I wouldn't be quite so lucky to have seen the concerts and the groups that I've been fortunate enough to have seen
She was a class act on stage. One of the best female guitarist I have ever seen. Thank you for coming to Wichita ks. I had a hell of a lot fun. I did all the singing.
she is truly amazing!
We love Nita!
she melted my face off last night at the show, no joke.
Man, did that hurt? Did you get your face back? Did you need plastic reconstructive surgery?
great personality!
So much inspiration! I would love to hear you play "Hello Hooray" with Alice🤘 Awesome that Kip helped ya a lil bit, he's an underated vocalist/ musician🤘
Thank you Nita for all the great years spent with Alice Cooper and the band. Best of luck in future- really sorry to see you go, hope for the occasionla come back though.
Saw Nita with Alice last night @ the Capitol Theater.... it was great, Nita was rockin, I have seen Alice many times and loved the fact they played public animal number 9 and guilty. I worked with Orianthi and Ritchie Sambora, and saw Orianthi with Alice twice, both ladies can riff circles around me.... all great stuff and nice job on this interview. Hoping Alice will do our show Front and Center on PBS one of these seasons it's my dream to work with Alice :)
Are you sure these are ladies? Orianthi is a lesbian and this one is most likely a transgender.
Nothing feminine about either one of these freaks.
@Karen T Truth and reality can never be dumb. Its just that it offends you. You must be one of these mutants.
I saw them tonight in Zurich and it was mind-blowing 🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉
Simply amazing.
I saw Nita with Alice Cooper in Atlanta last October. Great guitarist!!!
Good for you. Work hard and when you get the opportunity- hit it out of the park. Congratulations.
Gotta love that girl! That clip at the end I just laughed and shock my head hahaha maaaaaan she's awesome!!!
And that beautiful face with long golden locks. Everyone wants to see that too. Talented and knows her craft. Keep rocking NIta.
Her performance blew me away🙆♂️
Great Nita ! 💝
seen Alice Cooper last night 08/08/2023 in columbus ohio. he lead off for DefLeppord and Motley Crue. He was the best of the 3 I thought. I this woman ROCKED it
Nita Rocks!!! thats all folks.
She worked hard to be there. She is GREAT, Congratulation Absolute YEAHHHH
She does rock !!!
I just sat stage right at fox in St Louis last night. You are awesome! Great show!
Kip Winger discovered her, that's awesome ❤
I thought the same thing....Kip is was will always be fantastic.
We need more Nitas! 😭
saw her with alice this past summer, girl has mad talent, most impressive..
Saw Alice Cooper for the second time this year just last weekend. 60% of me is there to see Alice. 40% of me is there to see Nita. If I wasn’t watching Alice, I was watching Nita. I could hear and feel the rest of the band; but Alice, Nita, (and at one point, Alice’s wife, Sheryl), steal the show with their presence. Nita is an amazing guitarist and quite the dynamic performer.
The formula is working,working,working.....so cool and pretty
Very much a fan have been for a long time.. Met you at the Beau Rivage as I waited on you ... You Rock.. have a great tour hope you get to see your guy.... Much Love..
I've seen her in five Alice concerts and always thought she should get out of the way 'cuz I'm there for Alice. Now I see she's not only extremely talented, but jeez, a really nice person.
LOVE LOVE THE GUITAR GODDESS BEAUTY NITA STRAUSS!! LOVE HER!!!
She is right. The right place at the right time. But you have to have the talent too
So her success only starts with her talent. She has great work ethic, self discipline and a wonderful personality and beauty. Nothing can stop someone like that.
Nice to see a great guitar player have the chance and job
with the Alice Cooper band. Good job!
I’m in love!
Being ethereally magnificent in every possible way probably helped her to get the gig.
Nita you rock girl☺🤘🤘🤘
When Joe Satriani says she'll be the next shredder to explode on the scene you know she can play! He said-
“I was down in Los Angeles not too long ago for the NAMM show,” he told the Talkin’ Rock with Meltdown podcast. "And I was standing onstage next to Steve Vai and Yvette Young and Paul Gilbert, you know, the whole band, those guys are amazing.
"But Nita Strauss, she was really good. She really brought it. She’s like the whole thing. She's got a sound and her technique's amazing, and she's a really great performer, and it was really cool to see her just be able to flow with older players like myself and Steve and Paul and the younger players like Yvette and the guys from Polyphia.
"I just thought it was kinda cool. I just thought, 'That's a mark of someone who's going really far.' Even though she's been a pro for a long time, you know, she's out on tour all the time with Alice Cooper. As a solo artist, I think her time is coming. She's about to explode on the scene."
LOL, I was with her when she was practicing non-stop for her tryout. We were on a houseboat and every free moment she had she was playing. She's just a super nice person and very talented.
Prove it :)
