- My landing gear needed a creative solution. I am so happy no one noticed. They probably did though. They just didn't pull me over for it.

Apparently Congress thinks the railroads not truckers keep the US alive so they won't mandate rail companies to give rail workers any sick days and they won't let rail workers strike to try to get them.
One of the major reasons why I like to get up at or before 4am is so I can shower at the truck stop before the showers fill up, and so I can shut down early enough to shower at night if I didn't get one in the morning. It's so much easier to find parking when I shut down by like 6pm! I also love watching the sun come up while I drive, and being on the road before it gets crowded. But I agree with you, prices for parking and showers are high!

Best to tuck handle tight to landing gear frame & use Black bungie ( blend in ad much as possibleâŠ
Zip ties work nicely for the given usage.

Shelby, weâd love to know about your journey through these new carriers. I can understand if you donât want to talk about it, but it can teach a lesson about finding the right fit. Iâve driven for more carriers than Iâd like to admit because I didnât know what I was looking for. Iâm happy where I am now driving tanker. Stay safe, driver! Keep the rubber side down
I always do my time before I talk about them, if at all. I will consider sharing information in the future. I have to be careful with what I say so I generally avoid the subjects.
Kudos to both of you I'm too nervous to change carriers for almost 5 years with the same company (mega carrier). I'd like to change but with the current economy it seems safer staying with them. Idk I've done it all but I'm surprised I'm still doing it. Thought I'd be back in IT. Anyways keep on trucking and stay safe.
@@rx2powersports I donât want to speak for Shelby, but I didnât jump from carrier to carrier for the fun of it; I just couldnât find the right fit. Along the way, I discovered I didnât actually know what I was looking for, so thatâs why nothing was working out for me. Now that I know what I want, I know exactly what to look for, and I think Iâve landed in a pretty good spot where I am now. Thereâs nothing wrong with staying put for now, but I think if youâre not making at least $90,000 a year, youâre selling yourself short. The opportunities are out there with well established carriers who can make it through these uncertain times. But do whatâs best for you!

Two videos in a week! Christmas has come early. Hope you and Dakota are staying warm. Got caught in a good bit of snow the other week in Indiana, S. Dakota, AND Wyoming three separate time and ended up being a day late delivering. Oh well, my rookie behind never saw snow before moving up here. Hey Shelby, just in case you donât know, you can operate all GoPro cameras without a battery if you have them on a USB cable to whatever power source youâre using, like a 12v socket adapter. If you mount one or more GoPros in the cab, you can literally leave them powered up and on standby and then start and stop recording on all cameras simultaneously using the GoPro wireless remote. Itâs great to never have to worry about a battery running empty and missing shots all the time because of dead batteries.

@@ShelbyHBTM Iâm glad I mentioned it then! I power up 4 GoPros and connect them to the remote right before I start driving and leave them all on the entire day until I shut down. Whenever I want to capture something, itâs as fast as pushing one button on the remote. Thereâs a vid on my channel that I made to show my setup. Hope itâs helpful! Love your channel and always look forward to more content! Oh ⊠and please give Dakota a huge hug from me. Iâm a big fan of GSDs and Dakota reminds me so much of my girl, Kora, who passed away a few years back.

I really hate when I leave my glasses up like that and when I go to use them I'll flip them down and they'll be greasy from my hair being dirty...time for a napkin!!
