First Ride! HD 2006 Dyna Wide Glide

- Literally the first ride ever on a real bike! Finally got the Harley's Rear Master Cylinder fixed up and moving up from my starter bike. Yamaha Virago 250 you will be missed....but not really!
I had a 2004 Dyna wide glide that I had owned since it was brand new! It had a numbered paint job from Harley #204 and every other conceivable option! Last summer I gifted this incredible bike it to my son n law Dan, who was thinking bout getting a bike, but not a HD. He told me that it was the Best gift that he had ever got and that he would Never sell it. I have gotten so much out of that gift, before we hardly ever talked or texted and Now? We text & talk on a regular basis about MC’s and his bike. Dan has done a superior job of taking care of the bike, which is gorgeous! He has done some minor and major maintenance to the bike and is not afraid of doing any kind of repairs to it! I have definitely received a Blessing by gifting this
Fantastic machine to Dan ! He is a great son n law ! As for me ? I still have 2 other HDs, a 2008 CVO screaming Eagle 105 anniversary wide glide and a 2020 CVO Ltd ! Now we can ride together!

I am in the UK and its near freezing in December. My 2002 Dyna WG is in my shed being modified. It was good to be able to watch you riding on a warm, dry day. Nice bike
I've had an 05 fxdwg 6-plus months now and it's the best part of my day when I'm riding!

I too have an 06 DWG. Bought it new in 06. Love it and there's nothing H-D makes that I like better in this class of bike. She's been a good old girl. It's a darn shame H-D stopped the build.

Do you still own this 2006 Harley still? I am very interested in it a lot. also, i may have owned it at one time. letting that Bike go was a big mistake. It's a limited edition #58 of 150 that was made. if it is #58 it's the one i owned!
I do! I've unfortunately gotten busy in life and haven't been able to ride it the past year. Will make a stronger effort next season! Thank you for commenting!
@@inthebushwithcharlie4208 If you decide to ever sell. I would like to Know. i will travel to come get it and pay cash. was a mistake to ever let it go. I need it back in my life. rode it a lot on rides with my dad. but when he passed i kind of just quit riding.
Sir nice bike quick question? How’s was the ride with tht wide glide front end going 60 any vibration or and odd discomfort, I have dyna low rider with narrow front end , looking to up grade , thks
