- Shoutout to Snoop in the Extinction Squad discord server for telling me how to make the turret last indefinitely. In Hardcore, this earns 4.37 teeth/hour on average. I suspect it's the same for regular but I'll test it out and let y'all know.
It’s fine if the splitscreener’s controller dies, but if the tooth grinder’s controller dies that’ll probably end the game, so make sure your main controller is plugged in.
I left it running for 53 hours to get the screenshot in the thumbnail. I was worried that rubberbanding the trigger down for that long would mess the trigger springs up, but it seems to not have had an effect. - Hry

Update, so I used this to get up to 8 relics and do it on hardcore and I did it for about 12-15 hours I got 100 teeth and 1.8 million xp, really good farm
I can do a poc run in 45 minutes and get 14 teeth every time.

I just used this last night! Srarted at 11.30pm, put it on Hardcore, woke up at 10am, died on purpose and had 66 teeth at the end of it! Went from level 17 to 30 😂 Thank you bro! Im subbing now.

This is nuts, there’s finally a way to do this afk I did the glitch in reg then hardcore and found reg is about 20 kills per min roughly and hardcore is 27 kills per min due to a higher spawn rate.
That's a 35 percent spawn increase, that's awesome. I'm glad I sorted comments by new.

Awesome tutorial! I remember you mentioned this to me on your livestream actually. I might have to try this out. With the game being 8 years old I wish they would turn on double or even quad teeth. The grid isn’t worth it anymore for most players with the game being so old so it would be nice if they just adjusted the earn rates so we can experience it all and not need such a grind
They never will as it's over 8 years old. I agree with you though.
would've been nice if they kept the major barriers earning teeth every time too. Makes it too reliant on finishing a game to earn a significant amount. They did a good job otherwise with reworking the grind but that bonus pool makes no sense.

This has been working excellently for me on PS3! I have already been able to get over 200 teeth using this method in about 2 days' time, definitely a good way to get teeth if you have a busy schedule throughout your day like me. I finally came back to this game when this game came out I was playing this hard-core I love this I wish they brought it back I had so much fun but I grind the teeth the normal way and got everything and getting a double class was a pain in the ass

This works well thank you so much!!! I had grinded 518 teeth with double sentry and completing Point of Contact with random people. 90%+ of that with double sentry guns. This will make it so much easier to grind!
How are you getting this to work? As soon as I go to do the first part, they spawn like crazy and I cant get it done in time. Is there something else Im missing?
@@crazycrk5081 yeah I also had to fight them for a second while trying to set it up. They hit hard on hardcore. Just be quick and place the grenade turret so you can kill them and continue preparing the grind (player 2 moving the turret etc. without being hit by aliens from every direction). Then you're good to go
@@tony4860 Thank you. Yeah it took a few tries but I finally did get it to work on hardcore. Im gonna let it sit all night and all day tomorrow while Im at work and see what happens. I only got it to work cause my second controller randomly spawned with a flare, so I threw that while I set up the turret and got on it. Also, running the medic class on your first controller thats farming the kills, it helps just a little bit. Putting points on that character into medic helps get there and back quicker so it makes it that slight bit easier, but without that flare, Idk if I couldve done it. Guess I got lucky there, lol. I hope your runs and teeth grinds go well! Good luck!

How do you play ghosts on the PS4?
For anyone stuggling to keep R2 held down, on playstation you can go to accessibility settings and switch R2 with Square and then just put the rubber band around square instead. I wasn't able to do it until I tried this.
I guess it's time to get the double class perk... I'm top 20 in PoC (ps4) and still don't have that 😅 it's been a while since the last time I played but this is deffo going to bring me back to the game... Thank you so much for this, you are the best extinction youtuber mate ✌️

I'm grinding for teeth as we speak and I'm not gonna lie, I don't know if I should get double class as fast as possible or cryptid slayer ammo or something completely different. What would you recommend? (Also thank you for saving us from the ungodly amounts of hours of grinding)
Whether you do CS ammo or double class is up to you, (maybe if you main weapon specialist get DC first), but I’d definitely get master scavenger and all the other really good low tooth upgrades (like start with skillpoint+money+locker key, class upgrades, toughness, KVA, etc.) before going for the big boys

I’d say get double class last because if you get every other one first it will make grinding for double class a lot easier
Thanks for providing this, been exploiting it myself. I'd like to add that you can make your console heat up significantly less if you glitch player 1 inside a crate so that your console doesn't render any smoke. My PS4 makes nowhere near as much noise doing it this way.
How did you glitch inside a crate?

Getting xp and teeth from this glitch amazing this is almost as good as the unlimited death machine afk glitch on the catwalk in the giant in bo3 zombies

Been doing this for about two weeks now and currently at 715/1000 teeth on Xbox One. This method is definitely slower than if you were to grind games manually (only if you clear with all challenges complete) but who really has the time to grind for 1000 teeth? On hardcore you get about 6-7 teeth per hour so you can do the math from there how long it would take you to get the upgrades you want. Only major upgrades I still need are double class, cryptid slayer, and class frequency. So this method has helped me get pistol ark (125 teeth) & class upgrade (200 teeth) within the past couple weeks while I am either busy or not at home at all. After I get double class I plan on doing some of the grinding manually anyway on some of the maps that I wasn’t able to solo before. I would say this glitch is very much so worth it
So let me repost this, the glitch does work on PC, to an extent. You do get infinite ammo grenade turrets, but because you don't have the split screen player to pick up the grenade turret, it breaks down after seven minutes and you'll have to replace it, but the new grenade turret will also have infinite ammo. So it's not a true afk farm on PC, you'll have to babysit it and replace the turret every six or seven minutes. Other than that, it works just the same.
Got an update for any curious PC players, the glitch does work in its entirety on PC. The issue is finding another player that is willing to leave their computer on and running the game while you afk farm. Console players with split screen obviously don't have that issue. I suppose if you have a second PC or a laptop with a second Steam account and copy of the game, you could set it up yourself, but that seems a little excessive.
Just ended an overnight session and after 11 hours on hardcore difficulty, a total of 64 teeth were farmed using this method. Thank you for the video tutorial Eric!

I knew that by using two Sentry Guns in Easy Mode, I could grind my teeth with a little AFK, but I couldn't get a complete AFK.
So this is a way to grind the perfect teeth.
I think it was a very necessary measure if I hadn't unlocked Armory.
Yeah, this is an incredibly useful tool. I'm going to use it to get the last ~750 teeth I need to have everything unlocked on my local play account. By the way, at the rate I earned teeth in hardcore difficulty you'd need to leave this farm on for about 3.5 weeks to unlock everything if starting from scratch.

@@AK70FORYOU Its like 10x slower than an optimally efficient manual tooth grind, but the point of this isn’t to be fast, it’s to be 100% afk so it can farm additional teeth while you’re not playing

I have been doing this on and off for a couple weeks now in 1-3 day chunks, Ive found I get on average 7.2 teeth per hour in hardcore with no relics, but 3 upgrade points on my second guys turret. Im curious if it can be done better in other locations or maps to get better spawn rates. I do it in the spawn on point of contact.
I thought about this also as there are ladders in the second & third area of the map. Only problem is you might get scorpions spawning, which would quickly kill you since they deal damage from afar

I'm on Xbox and my controller shuts off every 15-20 mins. Do I need to plug my main controller to the xbox or the other one to make it not shut off?
Did your test for Regular and Hardcore have results? I was doing it on regular for a few days and am now testing Hardcore, wanted to know if it was a waste of time. Trying to get a 24 hour sample for both atm
I found that they were the same, but I didn’t test them for too long each
@@EJBJEB123 I know Hardcore increases the spawn rate of cryptids in POC but I don’t know if that applies to the continually spawning ones found in the first area

Its funny I stumble onto this video, this would have been perfect a year or 2 ago when i was trying to grind my way to double class on local. Had everything else unlocked except class frequency boost, and I just find this video when I decided to begin the grind again. Oh well, I'm gonna do it legit since I'm at 680 teeth right now anyways, not that much longer to go.

I had to actually go out and get another controller so I did and turns out they had an alerted controller on sale and got it and did this exploit thank you for the hint to get the controller and teeth 😂

Nah relics don’t affect this at all. With the AFK farm you’re only ever getting 1 tooth every 300 kills
I just had an idea, I haven't tested it yet because I need another cable for my controllers, but will having more players (even if they just spawn and die), spawn more aliens per minute? Like instead of 20 kills get 30 with a 3rd controller?
Yeah that might actually work, I could see the game increasing the spawncap with more players in
@@EJBJEB123 I also just had the realization that extinction doesn't pause, so the third controller (I'm doing this using guest accounts on 360) could disconnect since that player isn't firing a turret or holding one, the second one might be able to as well since the input to hold the turret is already in place, and I found a way to wedge in the corner so the characters don't move.
@@EJBJEB123 I saw someone say you get 27 kills a minute in hard-core, but there's friendly fire so I don't know if the explosions would kill your character

@@EJBJEB123 just tried 3 controllers and on 360 ghosts you can only do 2 player split screen, but you can disconnect your second controller and all that happens is the reconnect controller symbol stays on screen

I use a setting on my xbox so it wouldn't turn off, cable for no rip controller, hair tie on the trigger and a lonoooog playlist in Spotify... i think that's fine

Went from vanguard zombies videos (I know, disgusting), to this, not sure how, but I was playing extinction like 6 days ago, and my game freaked out, had nothing but special aliens spawn, had like 20 rhinos at once, absolutely sucked, couldn't progress, all aliens spawning were special
If you wait too long to play the drill in the 3rd area, the game just does that. We call it a “Rhino Run”

It happened not event 20 seconds after I completed the first hive in the 3rd area, the one going under the house, opened up everything while it was drilling, so I didn't have to after
if u do this for all of ur armory u will need 2,522 teeth and that will take u 25 days in every 1 hour u get 4 teeth and every 6 hours is 24 teeth every day is 96 teeth
also i did my teeth on point of contact on regular not hardcore
regular is 20 kills per minute and hardcore increases spawns and it goes up to 28 kills per minute

Great vid thanks for sharing. I've unlocked most except for the bad boys, slayer ammo double class and cool down.... can I ask if this will work if you open the second area? This allows for more aliens, hunters and scorpions, meaning higher point value, or is it just based on kills alone? Thanks again
It’s just pure number of kills. Also, if scorpions are spawning in the glitch won’t work because they will just kill you while you’re AFK, even if you’re a medic

I wish the upgrades could be upgraded. I would have so much fun with this game if I could buy "start with a skill point" or "Double class" (triple and quadruple class) more and have the teeth increase each time you upgrade a specific armory upgrade again. 1000-1500-2000

What if you were to do this at the farm (3rd part)? Would enemies spawn more frequently?
You would get killed by rhinos or scorpions eventually
@Eric Barnes put it on casual and sit in the electric fence and just throw down Armour and keep buying the electric fence I got 10 teeth an hour doing that

Ik it’s an old video but uh can I put the ps5 on rest mode or do I have to keep it running
It will have to stay fully on, if the PS5 turns off or goes rest mode you'll lose the teeth you got that session. If you're doing it for an extended period of time I'd recommend resetting the glitch once per day so you limit the amount of teeth you can lose in case the console decides to turn off for whatever reason.

It’s called an Ark. you can search it up from boxes if you have the “master scavenger” armory upgrade. And you can get it on your pistol with the “pistol ark attachment” armory upgrade as well

Update left it running all night and woke up to both characters standing there without grenade turret, had 9282 kills, got around 30 something teeth, this method is very slow but does work AFK

My controller shuts off after about 15-20 minutes of being afk with the right trigger rubber banded. I also have the controller plugged in. How do I fix this?
Are you on Xbox? I know some people on Xbox have this issue, and they all said that you have to keep it plugged into the console
Thought it was going to be patched... nope, it still works. I'll be letting it sit afk for a few days now. I turned the rumble off my controller so it won't be rumbling all through the night.

Great for AFK, but honestly, you'd get much more for just going through the game. Like point of contact is easy enough, and if you use tank and armour, and then put maybe 2 or 3 easy relics, you'll get about 15 to 20 per game and it takes less than 2 hours

@@evancrow2191 take more damage, do less damage, limited ammo, stand your ground. then I use instics booster (wolf one) with Engineer (traps are OP), sentry turrets, and sheild.

Edit: if youre having trouble on xbox, turn youre idle mode off in the settings and if youre controler keeps disconnecting, get a data cord and plug it directly into youre xbox then into you're controller

I have a question is there anyway to move the teeth from the 2nd guest account over onto my main account? Right now I have 419 teeth and it says player 2 has 226 and it would be amazing to be able to take that 226 and some how add it to my 419 teeth

@@justintm91 There is a way to effectively copy and paste loadouts (teeth included) onto other accounts in local play, but it won’t add the teeth, and it won’t work with guests so no help here
Hi, sorry if this sounds stupid. I want to do this, but when I go into local player, my main character is level 1. Do you know how to change it so it’s the same stats as my single player account?
Your local play and online accounts are entirely separate, and you can’t copy the stats over unfortunately.
There is actually a way to copy your stats from one local play account to another local play account if that’s what you mean though.

I just tried this I did it identically to the video I even upgraded it twice with the second player b4 deploying by 2nd player, I hopped on it with 1st player and there was a smaller mag limit than on your vid and it ran outta ammo after the reload. Do I need to have something else upgraded like in my pregame Loadout for something I'm only at level 14...

@@EJBJEB123 hey thanks for the quick response.. yes I did it identically to your video the drill was definitely glitched out. it said "place drill down" while I'm holding pistol so I know that part worked.. it was as if the sentry gun did not upgrade far enough but I did it twice so I dunno.. I'll try it a few more times and see what happens. maybe it was a fluke.. Thnx.
@@treykearns4867 Yeah that’s weird, as far as I know once the drill has been eaten, hopping onto a grenade turret will give it infinite ammo. There isn’t anything else you need in the loadout. Let me know what else happens when you try it again
I'm trying to understand how to set it up do you do it on Play Online in Custom Game? Also you need to two active PS Memberships do to this on PS4 I'm trying to do this.
Yeah custom match is your best bet, this shouldn’t really be done in public lobbies. I think you’ll need 2 separate accounts, but you definitely only need one PS Membership in order to get both online and do this

this only works for like a half hour though. somehow everytime i do it and then go do something i die... what spot or where in the map do u go or how to aim the turret so i can do it longer?? i tried aiming it straight down and i went to sleep only woke up to 6 teeth
Is the second player picking the turret up the same as me?
It is a weird glitch, I have been doing it for a long time so I can tell you, many reasons your player can die. It could be any of these : #1 stick drift, #2 player2 keeps moving around while holding turret, #3 aimed at a bad spot and group of aliens got too close to you and aim assist threw your turret aim offtrack, #4 if doing it on hardcore it is likely that a hunter or scorpion downed both players

Does anyone know if you get more teeth if you do this glitch later in the game? Like at the end hive?
Does anyone have any tips on preventing the main controller from disconnecting??? I tried this, it only worked for about 15 minutes till my main controller timed out, even though I had it plugged in! Any tips?
Edit: I have found success by removing the controller batteries, plugging directly into the console itself, and also I heard playing Spotify through a connected mic helps it from timing out. This method worked for me overnight
