@@WSFM_RexIf they have never seen a human before they are most likely very scared of them. I can tell you anecdotally that monkeys are very scared of (big) things they've never seen before
@@Simon-oy7kf i think monkeys vary wildly though, how many species are there? And they’re literally on every continent except Antarctica, i don’t think they all have the same mentality.

Are there any purposes behind their giant lips and tiny noses?
They live in extremely cold and high altitude. A protruding nose will get a frost bite... That's why they have snub nose.

They’re usually around the animals for such a long period of time they just kinda learn to co exist. It takes months upon months to get footage like this.
I've been to this park in Yunnan and you can get pretty close to the monkeys, so filming with a long lens would be no problem.

I always enjoyed watching BBC Earth . Always had a happy ending to their programs. Unlike Nat Geo which resulted in internalized trauma as a youth.

So before they “evolved” these amazing stomachs that can digest the toxic moss they eat, how did they survive?
It was most likely a gene mutation that gave one of them the advantage over the others to consume the toxic moss. Then survival of the fittest comes into play and that monkey is the only option to mate with
@@nicolep.8103 Right so that would be adaptation due to an already pre-existing genetic makeup in the monkey, not evolution. Still what did they eat before this I wonder?
