- Sorry that I didn't post any videos in a month. That's because I was pretty busy and also we got lots of snow over the past month. And I only did one video today because there is way to much snow out in the fields to ride the sled. I really need a mountain sled lol.

V max 600 believe it was the Le ... all stock and broke in we went 115 - 120 on the lake , yamaha always had the fastest sleds in the 90s
My dad had a 95 Vmax too brand new as well! He loved it!! We still have it to this day I mean this Vmax not my dads

What kind of track do you have? Mine seems to do pretty good but its a 136 with a 2 inch paddle
I’m not to sure what kind of track it has but I’ll definitely check next time I’m out

My 1997 Yamaha vmax600xtc fires up with starting fluid then dies how do I know it's the fuel filter or why am I not getting gas have spark
Craig Featherly Try and clean the carbs. Sounds like jets are plugged up
indeed it does sound like clogged jets. if your talking about dies while idling then thats most likely pilot jet. if it dies even while giving it gas then your probably not getting gas to the carb and if its not your fuel filter then possibly the float needle is clogged although that usually results in flooding. make sure the arrow on the fuel filter is pointing in the direction of flow.
There is no filter, however there’s an in tank screen that falls apart after a while. Sounds like clogged jets to me prob because it wasn’t fogged for storage

for anybody who doesnt want to watch the whole thing the fastest he got up to was right around 120 KPH which is just under 75MPH
I got my vmax 600 up to 98 mph

@@dirtrider88 no word of a lie I was down a road/trail with a bit of powder on it and I distinctively remember that speedo just a tad under the 100mph reading on it
@@laurenttourond1453 it at all depends on the conditions. you could have 6 inch of real light powder but if you have a solid base like a dirt road it could be possible.

my dad had a 95 vmax 600 that was clutched and jetted and piped and everything and it would easily smoke the vmax 700 triple i found the 600 was alot better to drive to
