- After much consideration, I decided to swallow my pride and take my vulcan to a licensed mechanic to install my voltron bars. Although I would have loved to complete this mod myself, I'm happy that I can ride with the confidence that everything was installed correctly. If you are wanting to purchase these bars, I highly recommend them! They are amazing. Super comfortable, no vibration and they look frikkin AWESOME.

Great video & I find u give really informative content - hehe, same thing happened to me when I accidentally turned off the cutoff switch, except luckily I wasn’t on the road….I was worried for a bit too.
Glad you're enjoying the content 🙂 That kill switch seriously had me baffled for a bit! Haha
Looking good, Stacey. Very wise having a Tech fit the bars. Good one. Ride well. Cheers
Thanks Moz. Wish I had the knowledge and confidence to do it myself but happy enough not to have to stress about it.
Nice to see you are both well. Another great video. No shame in getting the bars done right by the experts, better safe than sorry. 😊
Thanks Ian. I'm lovin the new bars. I'm glad I skipped the fiddly part of trying to figure out how to install them. 🙃
Looks really good!! Well done...see how they go on your Tassie trip!
Oh I can't wait! It's going to be a seriously epic trip. 😎
@@TheVSChick ...when are you heading down?
Beginning of next year for about 3 weeks (1 week to get there, 1 week to explore and 1 week back). It'll be an adventure and a half that's for sure.
@@TheVSChick...it will be a quick trip for the week, but should be enough time to see a lot of it. The time getting down there and back should be fun! Look forward to seeing your vid afterwards - still get a a bit homesick after 30+ years since leaving Tas... :(
I've heard great things about Tassie. I'm surprised you left! Who knows... I might end up staying down there for longer haha 😁
Heya Darl'n 😘 sorry I watched when this video came out, but forgot to comment because I watched it on the Big telly in the lounge room 😜😉😂😂🍻🤙🏻
Bars look AwWSuM & your sitting more upright... Good job... You coming to meet up this year or saving up for the Tazzie One?
Cheers 🤙🏻🍻 luv ya Gutz
Haha love that I made the big screen! Haha! Narrr I don't think I'll make this next meetup but definitely doing the Tassie trip. Super pumped for it! You going??
They look brilliant! Happy new year from sunny (not as sunny as oz) Wales. Ride safe, Lady J Rider
Thanks mate 🙂 Ride safe! (It's been soooooooo hot here the last few weeks.)
@The VS Chick arrrgh am jealous. 🤣 we've had -8c this winter and full on rainy season. Ride safe, enjoy your bars. They look cool 😎 had me worried when your bike stopped though! 😬 lady J
Stacey the bars look awesome. Good idea getting the pro’s to fit them up for you, can be a pain if something does fit just right. FYI I have adjusted mine back 3 times to get the right spot. 😎👊🏻👌
Thanks BB. Yeah I'm glad I got them to do it. Didn't want to risk getting half way through before realising I couldn't do it. That would have REALLY sucked. And good one! Gotta find the perfect spot. I think mine ended up being spot on first time lucky.
Geez, i'am not JEALOUS! they look awesome! looks good on the bike too.
Haha yeah they're lookin sweeeeeet hey!!
Good video, the handlebars look great! Got to watch those damn kill switches!! 😆👍🏼
Thanks so much! Yeah I was seriously baffled there for a bit. Glad I realised what happened. Would have been pretty embarrassing interaction with the bike mechanic. Haha
Nice choice Stacey, bars look great 👌🏍
Thanks Frank 🤘
Lol at the mirrors. 😂😂
Time to chuck some slim mirrors on there to slimline the look. No harm in getting a pro to do it. Bars aren’t so easy peasy to install. Looks amazing and much more comfy!
Haha I think I've actually got some groovy mirrors from the previous owner. Woot woot! And yeah... I had to swallow my pride in the end.
The new bars look great! 😎
Thanks Eric! Lovin them 😎🤘
@@TheVSChick edited to say bars. Sorry about that.
Oh I didn't even notice lol
Great video. They look cool. Ride safe
Thanks 🤘
the video that makes me want to customize...pretty good!!
Awesome! Go for it I reckon!!
Hi @TheVSChick did the shop have to get you longer brake and clutch cables?
The longer cables came with the bars. The stock ones won't reach so if you're looking to purchase some voltron bars, just check to make sure the cables are included as well. 🙂
They look very cool, a bit Batman ish 😁👍
Lol thanks! I should call it the batmobile haha
Love the bars. Going to be super noticeable on longer trips. But the big question is : where is full bore now ? Cant find them on boatharbour any more and my google-fu sucks.
Lol yeah they've moved to a private workshop now. He still does the same jobs but picks up the bikes himself. Pretty convenient actually 👌
Love the bars 🤘
Thanks! Me too!!
Ergonomically adjusting your bike to ‘fit’ is a necessity. They look good too. Mirrors can be adjusted easily
Yeah totally agree. My vulcan is waaayy different from the stock now. Super comfy to ride.
Hi Stacey & Rebel Rider, Bars look great. I'll send you a e-mail shortly as I am looking getting some for both of you.
Oh thanks 😊 I'll keep a look out
Two questions if you don't mind,
Do those bars work with the original weighted bar ends at the end of the grips?
And how do they handle overall (cornering, etc.) now that you've had them for a while?
Yep no worries 🙂 The original bar ends would be fine. Mine are after market but I've seen plenty of other vulcans with these bars that still have the stock bar ends. And I'm lovin the bars. Cornering is much nicer. I could have them angled a little closer towards me but I wanted to follow the line of the forks. Just something to think about. Ride safe!
Hello, I recently found your channel and I also just got a Vulcan as my first bike. I love it so far, but I can tell that the bars will be low for some long rides. I saw your bars somewhere else and thought they looked cool. I see that you posted this video about a year ago, or so, and I'm wondering if you could give me an update on your opinion after having them for a while now? Thanks and ride safe out there.
Congrats on getting a vulcan. You've chosen well!! The bars are going awesomely. I used to get shoulder pain on long trips, but after changing the bars, I've had no issues at all. I did a 7000km trip to Tassie and back and had no shoulder pain at all. So I'm lovin them!
Right on thank you. One more question...I see that you also got the Corbin seat. Now that you've broken it in, what's your thoughts on it? Worth the money?
My stock seat is a little torture device made of nails and anger. Lol
Oh I don't have a corbin seat. This one was custom made by a local guy... he shaped it and reupholstered in for me ($200). Then I use an airhawk seat cushion over the top of that. The airhawk is significantly cheaper than replacing the seat with a corbin and works well.
Nice 🏍️💨💨💨
Woot woot!! 🤩
Being a short person with t-Rex arms and reduced fit everything, would Rebel rider find those handlebars closer to her and easier to steer?
Haha that's a great visual 😆 She actually had a ride on it the other day for the first time ever! The bars were heaps closer for her t-rex arms so she could finally reach. 🤩
@@TheVSChick thanks! I was considering doing something similar but will try bar risers first. Thanks for the video (and the stickers a month or 2 ago)
Bar risers could be a goer. You could also angle the bars abit too. And no worries! 😉😁
Easy rider!
Just need to extend the forks somehow lol
Bars look great. No shame in letting the experts do stuff you are not comfortable doing to the bike.
Yeah... I was abit annoyed at myself that I needed help to get it sorted though. It was just too fiddly for me and I didn't want to compromise the safety of the bike.
What exhaust do you have and where did you get it?
Hey hey 🙂 It's a delkevic slash cut. The previous owner installed it. Check out the link. Hope this helps

The bars look great on the bike, but I must say I would absolutely kill myself riding in your neck of the woods, wrong side of the road for me and would really take me some getting use to😅😅😅
Hahaha I feel the same about riding anywhere else in the world. It would take some getting used to!
those bars look very gothic rather addams family but quite tidy
Haha that'll be my theme song now 🎵
looking good , HOW MUCH what you trying to do girl break my bank account
Haha Yeah.... my bank account broke looonngg ago haha.
@@TheVSChick just to add fual to the fire have you seen the price of Kawasaki light bar ,thats my next upgrade having just had my seat custom-uphoustured Im prioritizing upgrades as I see in the right order Iv already upgraded to LED bulbs and fitted Booster plug dame turns out buying the bike was only the begining 😀
Ooo no I haven't really looked into the light bar yet. Let me know how the install goes. I bet you're loving the custom seat! Woot woot!
