I dismissed Altered, I critiqued the qr code, I doubted the gameplay. I have never been more wrong. This game is amazing in all aspects, and with just 6 heroes and 50% of the common revealed, I still cannot stop playing it on exAltered. Thank you for the how to play video, without it I might have missed this gem.
Your were wrong because you didn't objectively look at the game. What u did was LOOK AT THINGS TO COMPLAIN ABOUT and that sceewed your thoughts on the game

Thanks for the episode and the consistent quality Altered Content. Very excited for Altered. In for basically the same as Dan, plus 4 2 players mats so I can run drafts/events for game club. I do really hope we hit like a free or reduced box price goal since I want to get more, but don't want to go too wild budget wise.
Loving the stretch goals. Will make opening packs very exciting while also keeping "value" of alt arts upnas they are not guaranteed to all backers. Thanks for sharing your experience a the event. Can't wait to see the other heroes.

I am loving the Kickstarter… all the alternate arts and drop rates is great… I am inching towards the divine pledge but I want to see what the rest of the campaign has to show. I’d love some sort of counter for the numbers in each lane….
Not gonna lie, if I could afford it I would have definitely backed at the Divine level but it's just too expensive for me. I wish they had included a level somewhere in between the Master Pack and the Divine level. I would have loved to get just one uncut sheet for display in my home, but as much as I want that, we simply can't budget for the up-front cost of the Divine pack. In the end we decided on a more affordable level with add-ons, similar to Dan. I'm just hoping maybe someday I'll be able to find a reasonably priced sheet online or something.
Makes total sense to me. With the unlimited Divine pledges, hopefully some more of those uncut sheets end up floating around. I may have to just hit up Jordan to get one of his XD
I backed at the 2 starters and a box just so I could have access to the stretch goals. I like the play mechanics (although it seems to read more like a hybrid board game than a tcg) and am intrigued by the digital aspect of the cards and knowing I’m the only one that has a particular unique. That said, I do have a couple of concerns. 1) I think the direct print and player-to-player secondary market will keep this game away from a lot of hobby stores and will unfortunately limit the community this game could have. 2) What safeguards are being used to protect my digital information, both my cards and my personal/financial information?
Fair questions! Regarding digital information, I can't answer that myself - that would have to go to the digital team at Equinox. If you haven't joined the discord, they are active there and you can get your questions answered for sure :) I understand the retail concerns, but I think a lot of retailers shouldn't be too afraid to test the waters. The draw of uniques in sealed product should be massive, and if they sell singles, they can sell digitally at better rates than non-retail accounts, and there are other retailer tools that will help them offer additional value to their local buyers (they have the ability to keep physical prints in stock to give customers immediate copies of commons/rares rather than waiting for POD, etc). That said, I think everyone should make their own judgment that is best for them and their stores! The KS is showing that interest is definitely there, so it will all come down to how Equinox handles things with both players and retailers from here on out.
I hope free-for-all places your hero against the companion of the player on your left, and your companion against the hero of the player on your right.
I feel like almost all SGs at this point for only benefit people who buy a lot of product I was hoping for some promos/tokens for the smaller pledges for those that actually want to play the game
Sure. They definitely benefit people more the more boxes they buy, but I think still if you can go in for one box you're going to feel the benefit there. As we talked about in the pod, though, I would love to see a little more love being thrown at the players who are just exploring the game with the starters!

I actually agree that I think acrylic hero and companion tokens for the starter decks that matched would feel great for people
