Dani is always a gent, Awesome band, i would also add, i think he is one of the most underrated lyricists in music. His writing is fantastic. Seen them live a few times over the years, Awesome band.
Great interview. And looking forward to new studio and live album... Been a fan since Midian album over 20 years now. Dani Filth is one of the best writers in Metal music. His lyrics are always top class in my opinion. Im old school so i always buy my music in physical form. But for any new listeners out there i recommend checking out and reading lyrics with his music if listening digital, you wont be disappointed.
That was absolutely great I love how you speak to some of the greats I've lost my collection of Records I've lost my stereo now I'm losing my house I have to June 8th where's all the metal bands that help me now thank you your videos really make me feel better after all this been going on in my life
One of my all time favorite metal bands and frontman. I heard their rendition of Hallowed way back in 99. After that, I bought the From The Cradle To Enslave EP (Sleepless is such a slept on track, no pun intended). Not long after that, the accompanying VHS tape and its been a Filthy road ever since. Great interview man, thanks for sharing!
What an asskicking Maiden cover huh? That's crazy even typing those words, ( most bands wouldnt dream of tackling the great Maiden) Cradle do the best covers, Hell Awaits, Death Comes Ripping, The Fire Still Burns. When I listen to these, I can imagine these guys are generally my age, comin up in the glorious childhood of the 80's.
This dude really doesn't age.....its crazy. Cradle is awesome. I liked the old guitarists better. But its is still an amazing band, and probably always will be.
Trouble and their double lives... Is so good. I have been spinning Live Bait for The Dead for quite a while, the newer recordings absolutely reflect the cementing of the pro Legacy of COF. I saw a live CD at the local comic shop a couple of years ago, I believe it was Live at Wacken. I didnt pick it up, and now I regret this. I think that was 97 or 98 anyhow. Great interview, always enjoy listening to Mr. FILTH. ( holy shit. A cover of I SPEED AT NIGHT!?. that will be the coolest thing I hear for some time, cant wait.)
I've been a fan of Cradle since 1999, although something of a lapsed fan as I stopped listening to new material around 2002 and only late last year did I start to catch up. Cradle of Filth was also my first major gig, as I went to see them at the London Astoria on 15th December 2000 on the Midian tour. I'm really not sure about the Ed Sheeran thing. But the charity link does give it some redemption. And I'm guessing the charity Cradles money is going to will be linked to the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, seeing as Dani said it's linked to something alternative. I'll approach the song with an open mind, even though I cannot stand Sheeran in the slightest.
I wonder why so few interviewer ask about who wrote the music of a new album and how the writing process go. As he is the sole founding member, how does contribute to the song writing. How does he keep the CoF dna with change of blood?
Бля, включити в останній альбом записи з російських живих виступів нічо не завадило. Діло їхнє звичайно, і то виступи з минулого, але якось вже не хочеться ото купувати, ні качати і залишати в бібліотеці...
As usual Vlad you are excellent. However, I have a problem with Danny « Filth ». I think that he is really fake. I saw them once live and it was really bad. This guy has no voice And the eye color lense… really? It’s so cheesy. Please kill me.
Господи, где же можно было найти такую соевую дешевую худи, просто чтобы показать "даааа, я в мейнстриме, я нихуя не знаю ни об Украине, ни о России, но я типа весь такой правильный"
ummm...nope. charity or no...this is a bs move. sorry. marriage of opposites....like country and rap...thats about the size of it. good thing I don't care for cradle or sheeran.
Who is excited about that DIO honouring?
Cradle do great covers, so yes!
Love em, or hate em, in my opinion, Dani is arguably the greatest extreme metal lyricist of all time. He is an artist in the truest sense of the word.
Dani is always a gent, Awesome band, i would also add, i think he is one of the most underrated lyricists
in music. His writing is fantastic.
Seen them live a few times over the years, Awesome band.
What a down-to-earth guy. I absolutely LOVE VEmpire, Dusk and Her Embrace and Cruelty and the Beast - spectacular Metal albums!
Cradle opened my eyes to so much music. Dani still has an incredible range and probably performs better now than he did at the bands peak.
Dani is such a genuine human. A genius and bad ass vocalist also
Wow! Great Band !!!!
DIO such a great legend.
working on a new album already, awesome ~

Amazing, thanks for that, love a Filth interview 🔥🔥🔥
Such a lovely guy!

Funny thing about that Anathema cover is it's better than anything Anathema ever actually did. lmao
Absolutely love Dani! Such a great bloke. Could almost just go to the pub, bump into him and chat like a long lost friend 😊
I gave Midian to my friend and he liked it so much he played it before work and on his lunch break and of course after work for 2 years every day!
That's one of my favourite Dio tracks, good choice as always. Cradle do great covers

Oh wow. I didn’t expect you’d interview Michael Sheen.
Not a fan of Cradle of Filth, but that was a hugely enjoyable interview. Will be very curious to hear that collaboration with Ed Sheeran
I love dani, hes such a generic chill dude outside the band who youd never pick for someome thats in one of the biggest deathmetal bands.
I was listening "C of F" since 2003 and didn't know they are from UK 😅
Lol you must be American.

So why are you here?
