Soon you'll have teleports all over the map Progression in this game is all about having all kinds of ways to travel. That said, you should aim for Fairy Rings soon, they're an absolute game changer. To unlock them you'll need to start Fairy Tale Part 2 iirc.
That feeling of progression is quintessential OSRS. You may be in the early game, but that cloak will serve you well for a long time to come. Early mid or late game, progression is progression and I'm sure everyone will be right there with you in understanding that feeling.
The big rift in the ground is for the "A Soul's Bane" quest. It is a rather comedic one off quest needed for the Varrock medium diaries. It is commonly rushed pretty early on main accounts as the diary allows the Varrock teleport to have a Grand Exchange option, but is of lesser priority to ironmen for obvious reasons.
@@yhonas The varrock medium diary grand exchange teleport is also the closest teleport to a bank other than the 99 crafting cape. Definitely a good early unlock to shoot for!
Yeah, and apparently if you do the Wanted! quest and kill a ton of black knights Sir Vyvin will sell you some color-coordinated boots and gloves to go with it. I just found this out recently while researching the cheapest gear for every style i can buy to wear in wildy.
“I had to do pickpocketing… MULTIPLE TIMES” cracked me up so much😂. Just wait until bro needs high thieving and has to to do pickpocketing or even worse, blackjacking. Can’t wait for the desert treasure lockpick part Great series! As a WoW player myself I refound osrs and it’s soooo much fun.
@@yhonas speaking of prayer, you can level it up a lot faster while you're low level by running to the wilderness and finding the big bones spawns and running them to the chaos altar, doing that at low level means you're less likely to get killed by somebody and the bones literally spawn out there so you don't need to bring anything you could lose, i recommend level 43 prayer so you can get protection prayers and situations like that goblin nearly killing you won't happen
The rift near the digsite is Tolna's Lair for "A Soul's Bane Quest" it's a pretty nostalgic place for us all because it was like some of the first times in game we saw our characters hitting 40s and stuff. A very trippy LSD inducing quest that is a bit old but has a lot of character. Not terribly annoying, but it definitely can be! Watching you struggle with Digsite quest is funny, there's a few quests notorious for being like that so buckle up :P And ohhh boy the plague/elf storyline.. just you wait... questionable doesn't even cover the half of it haha

Just a quick tip: when theres ANY food or edible item thats needed for a quest, use Menu Entry Swapper to shift>right click on the item and change its left click option to "use" instead of eat. I have over 4k hours accross my main and my ironman, and doing that has saved me even to this day lmao 😂
As someone who's played for ages and is 'quite far' into the game, it's so refreshing seeing your input and the way you handle the game! I'm onboard this journey man. Can't wait to see what's next for you
Experience the game how you want, i love the series! As just a recommendation from a long time player. Try out the plugin called "Stretched mode" , basically in the games display settings you change the game client layout to "Fixed - Classic Layout" and then turn on the stretched mode and make the client full screen. It's a much better feel and will make PVM (when you get there) much easier as eating potions and managing your inventory become much more practical. Additionally you'll fit in more with the osrs youtubers, as they almost always play in fixed mode. It's also easier to watch in a video with that layout. Either way, keep it up! I'm truely enjoying these.
I recommend following the optimal quest guide on the osrs wiki, I just started playing again too after not touching the game for over a decade and it made it easy to get back into the game
@@yhonas I'm no expert but the Oziris guide is fairly outdated AFAIK and there has been a ton of cool stuff that's really beneficial added to OSRS in the time since the last update. So whenever you commit to some of the longer grinds in the guide make sure to check the wiki if there is a new updated method.
I'm very much in the late game on my account, and while I don't use the Ardougne cloak teleport all that often anymore, I still use it every so often. Sometimes just to hang out at that little monastery, because it's one of the most relaxing areas in the game. Just don't go too far south if you want to keep the relaxing vibe! This game doesn't have mounts, so teleports and teleport items, and eventually a maxed player-owned-house, is pretty much this game's equivalent.
And that is SUCH a sick quest. Make sure you do this bro. Really inmerse yourself though, dont skip thr dialogue on that one. Quest is called A Soul’s Bane
7:40 that’s actually for another quest you’ll do later, I’d say it’s a mid level one when you have protection prayers. Also gotta say been loving the series, as somebody who started my Ironman about a year ago (been playing for years now) I gotta say do NOT be afraid of the wilderness to progress your account faster. Wildy slayer is great to get some nice items like a rune pouch/herb sack, and the alter in the wilderness to sacrifice bones to makes prayer so much nicer. Also if you need some cash camp some zombie pirates in the wildy they drop stupid good loot for how low level they are and will make money a non issue. Sure you might die a few times but so long as you’re top 3 items are safe then the only “risk” is loot you can just go back and farm again. Hope yall have a fun time on the OSRS journey
There’s a runelite plug in called menu entry swapper where if you shift click on an item you can swap which action is on top for a one click , so you could put use for the cabbage on top instead of eat

menu entry swapper plugin will help with "eating" can swap left click to use. Good for later in the game like making chocolate dust for potions. options can be use , rub (for jewelry tps), drop (item dropping), one click teleports for certain items like ardy cape. let free your left clicks
Always looking forward to your next osrs video!! One things that will tremendously help your traveling is unlocking fairy rings, high mage level for city teleports and getting full graceful outfit through agility!! Check those out! And theres a fairy ring next to the location of the ardougne cape tele. I constantly tele to ardougne then utilize the fairy rings to get all over the map
When I played osrs last years I decided to get the quest cape as my main goal from a fresh account. I spent millions on stamina pots, cant see how you are able to do it without them and still keep sane :D
If you ever feel too boxed in with the ironman guide, another fun way to play is to use the optimal ironman quest list plugin and just do quests until you get stuck on a stat requirement. Then you just go out and take a break from quests to grind. That's how Ive been playing my ironman recently and it feels pretty good. I guess that's how the ironman guide kinda already works, but I like having a little more wiggle room in my path.

I like the content, keep it up. If you want to be able to get around the map a little more, take a look at your minigame teleports under grouping. It can get you closer to your target location in a pinch, but it goes on a cooldown like your home teleport.
Long tedious quests are the name of the game in OSRS. Thankfully you only need to do each of them once. Well, unless you are a crazy person and you then start another account. And untradeable items you get from quests or achievement diaries(like Ardy cloak) are a signature thing as well, you end up relying on them quite a lot all the way into the end game.
You have a great way of editing , really enjoyed the video glad to see you enjoying the game. My biggest advice is to do what you enjoy on the game over anything else, fun > efficiency. Looking forward to more vids

As someone whos followed osiris' ironman efficiency guide to completion twice now, and done much of the bruhsailor guide as well, i 100% understand how monumental the ardy cape feels when you first get it. It really wont compare to anything else until you get Dragon Scimmy from monkey madness, then the helm of neitiznot from fremmenik isles and the fighters torso. Once you have that full drip, and are able to complete Recipe For Disaster and get barrows gloves, the game really does just completely open up to you in a way that i've rarely experienced in other games (maybe elden ring when you first walk out into limgrave?). I'm glad you're having a good time bro and I hope you continue posting videos chronicling your adventures (especially once your team tries to conquer barbarian assault... make sure to post that unedited xD )
Just a tip for if you’re questing and know you don’t need to fight. Don’t bring things you dont need like your staff. You have weight in osrs and the heavier you are the faster you lose run energy and the slower it regens. I would also recommend training some agility, or maybe look into doing tourist trap :)

@@archerVSlucas Aha. That's actually what got me into osrs again a bit over a year ago. I got my quest cape, my childhood dream, and kinda lost the spark with the long grinds ahead. It's seeing the quests that make me happy.
The chest and legs (that match the helm) are bis for training with overhead prayers. Lvl 37 protect from magic, 40 missiles, 43 melee The tear is part of a quest. You’ll use a rope on it or something like that and go down there to save the day I can’t wait to hear how you like the quest one small favor. Imagine walking through a friend’s grandparent through completing the digsite quest without the use of your hands (you’re tied up).
The hole in the ground at 7:42 is for the A Soul's Bane quest. It's a combat-based quest that you can start by talking to the woman right next to it. Also if you found Digsite tedious, get ready for Garden of Tranquility and One Small Favour in the future :)
I mustve used the ardy cape teleport atleast 10.000 times. That and explorer ring are the best for all those herb runs.also questing early lvls is the most efficient, you will have to do them later anyways and some get you lvl1-30 in a skill.
on the world hopper in the top left is a gear icon you can disable free to play worlds you'll realistically never use them for any reason. it will annoy you to accidently hop to one your choice though
download shortest path and it will guide you to where you need to go using the teleports and other things you have access to. And also turn on menu entry swapper to make click intensive grinds less work by allowing you to swap what your left and shift left clicks do
Believe me bruv, there are more tedious quests out there that will blow your mind and frustrate you.. I'm looking forward to the day you do MM2 and set foot on the ship. I nearly wrecked a keyboard and a mouse on that one :D
Check out James by the grand exchange he has all the info you need on bonds…james bond…you will notice stuff like that around the game…also checkout the knight’s names in varrock castle lmao
the part where you had to punch the guy to death. you used to have to change your character to a women became the joke used to be "i can be killed by no man!" so you had to change to a women to beat him. but they changed it
i also hate pickpocketing but thankfully there are a bunch of great non-pickpocketing thieving methods out right now. i wouldn't be surprised if the guide still tells you to do a lot of master farmers but you can do things like stealing artefacts or varlamore house keys now which are much less annoying IMO
that challenge where "No blade can kill me" used to be "no man can kill me" and you would have to change into a woman if you weren't one. They gave you a bonus reward if you had to do that to cover the gender change to woman and back to man if you had to do that.

Ardy cloak is my go-to choice whenever i go to wilderness. It costs literally nothing to replace.

For reference of account progression, early game is roughly pre-barrows gloves, mid game is quest cape, end game is all bossing ba-by.

You need to step food inside the town of Hosidius, the music that plays there is worth it.

Did you use v3 or v4? Which did you find between oziris and bruhsailor was quicker to get to pvm/cg? Was one more enjoyable than the other?

The hole in the ground at 7:42 is for the A Soul's Bane quest. It's a combat-based quest that you can start by talking to the woman right next to it.
Also if you found Digsite tedious, get ready for Garden of Tranquility and One Small Favour in the future :)
One Small Favour isn't that bad imo. I can see why it's tedious, though.

so i went to do the dig site quest MY GOD..............indeed my god
I mustve used the ardy cape teleport atleast 10.000 times. That and explorer ring are the best for all those herb runs.also questing early lvls is the most efficient, you will have to do them later anyways and some get you lvl1-30 in a skill.
on the world hopper in the top left is a gear icon you can disable free to play worlds you'll realistically never use them for any reason. it will annoy you to accidently hop to one your choice though
Just wait until you do mornings part 1 and 2, if you think digsite is a handful 😂 Just watch your three vids, fun to watch a new new player!
download shortest path and it will guide you to where you need to go using the teleports and other things you have access to. And also turn on menu entry swapper to make click intensive grinds less work by allowing you to swap what your left and shift left clicks do

Believe me bruv, there are more tedious quests out there that will blow your mind and frustrate you.. I'm looking forward to the day you do MM2 and set foot on the ship. I nearly wrecked a keyboard and a mouse on that one :D

the part where you had to punch the guy to death. you used to have to change your character to a women became the joke used to be "i can be killed by no man!" so you had to change to a women to beat him. but they changed it
there is a setting that makes it so your left click act like a right click. helpful for people like you and me who always click things by mistake . :3

i also hate pickpocketing but thankfully there are a bunch of great non-pickpocketing thieving methods out right now. i wouldn't be surprised if the guide still tells you to do a lot of master farmers but you can do things like stealing artefacts or varlamore house keys now which are much less annoying IMO
that challenge where "No blade can kill me" used to be "no man can kill me" and you would have to change into a woman if you weren't one. They gave you a bonus reward if you had to do that to cover the gender change to woman and back to man if you had to do that.
