I tried ABA for my daughter within a month I felt it was not right for my daughter as it was triggering her more when reward was not give in her case ( a cookie or sweets) she was not herself more robotic.
So sorry to hear about your experience! ABA approaches' effects could be long lasting ! But thank you for registering this comment, this will enlighten a lot of parents

I'm practicing ABA therapy for my son from past 7months.. it is actually wonderful concept, if implemented right way.
I agree on every point in your video. Whatever you said is happening in india. In other countries they implement ABA therapy play based . No forcing kid to do anything that he doesn't like.no punishment. It's completely natural learning. I wish every parent try to invest time in learning actual ABA play based teaching .
No offence on your perspective maam I have personally seen things wherever you said happening in india centers . So i teach my child at home throught online parent guidance .

Mam, ABA / ABC therapy is good for to stop bad behaviours only.
what are bad behaviours?
Mam, potty training pathi sollunga mam, how to reduce head banging mam.. Ada pathi sollunga mam
Can we use pecs ?
PECS is again compliance based maam ! It doesnt address all functions of communication, So i would not recommend it, but there are other forms of AAC you can consider
