Yep, the 3 of them were using the process as the punishment. They kept asking for his ID. He didn't give it to them, so they searched him for some ID - whilst lying that it was for items to break into motor vehicles. When they failed to find ID, they punished AB by keeping him handcuffed longer. And then making him wait for his search record, which they never gave him. The whole interaction was based on them wanting to be vindictive to AB, because they didn't like it when he didn't lick their boots.

Yep, the 3 of them were using the process as the punishment. They kept asking for his ID. He didn't give it to them, so they searched him for some ID - whilst lying that it was for items to break into motor vehicles. When they failed to find ID, they punished AB by keeping him handcuffed longer. And then making him wait for his search record, which they never gave him.
The whole interaction was based on them wanting to be vindictive to AB, because they didn't like it when he didn't lick their boots.
This is why wpcs are so dangerous. Irrational, paranoid, incompetant and love to play the victim card even while being a tyrant.

Off being searched for effectively 'going equipped' can they in that circumstance for example go through a wallet to try and determine identity. That was an identity search for sure
@@kieronallsop8855 most definitely, she even asked him where was his ID and if it was on his person when she finished going through his bag and didn't find it. She then decided they were going to search him as she was disappointed there was nothing in the bag to help her find out who AB was.

The search was unlawful. They way they kept demanding AB's name was unlawful. The use of handcuffs was unlawful. Their whole attitude was rude, unprofessional, overbearing. They did everything wrong.
The 3 of them should be sacked and face criminal prosecution for this. But we all know they won't because the police investigate themselves and find no wrongdoing.
