How about the F♯/Fa♯ tone in G Major key? It is the 7th tone in Ionian mode. In this video, the F/Fa tone is the G Mixolydian's 7th tone.

This video introduces natural notes on the guitar treble strings. The modes will be a different big topics. If you want to play G major scale, just replace the F with F#.
