- Sorry if this comes off as a bit of a mess, I've been mulling over this for the past week or so, and I wanted to get my thoughts out there.

I want to say this publicly and in full faith of the people here.

I live in the body of a minor, but I've dealt with friends that had been sexually abused or mentally/other abused as well as had fears of anxiety as a child enough that my personality became 30 or more personalities in a way similar if not matching a dissociative disorder similar to OSDD. And in my opinion, hearing a content creator like Clay, who we used to watch because we like this community, to be doing something like that horrifies and disgusts me to no limit. Ace, I'd like to thank you for showing your side on this and, even if I'm 3 months late, proving yourself as a person that cares.
What people like this do is NEVER to be forgiven. Suicide and PTSD exist, and tend to have connections. Even things like anxiety and depression can come from these situations. I will never understand these people that do this and I genuinely hope for healing and care for these victims. Ace, please continue with your path and being a good creator, and I hope Clay rots in hell for his crimes against humanity.

It's a shame to see all this unfold really. Clay's life is ruined, and it's entirely on him. As a community we all have collective responsibility, but especially the older, bigger creators, with more influence and power, to stay vigilant and keep younger people safe.
It's also disappointing to see that this could've been going on for years now. We as a community need to ensure people can safely and securely report actions like this without being frightened because the person they're reporting is influential. If we don't do that, this will happen again.
Simple advice to all. Don't talk about sexual stuff in the community. No sexual jokes, nothing. Don't mention anything remotely sexual. If someone does, tell them to stop. This community is full of teenagers who shouldn't be discussing that sort of stuff, and it only attracts predators.
you're right. I'm still a minor, and me, and more people can get affected by those "jokes". our community has space for everyone, except for the disrespectful people, predators and more.

It's unfortunate that it really had to come to this, especially given how he used to be one of my closest friend's and a huge inspiration to the community in general years back. Really don't understand how anyone can still defend such sick actions such as this, the sexual talk needs to stop as well given the fact this community is mainly consisting of minors, which can easily attract predators. As an ex-fan of him myself, I'm just gonna say this.
It's genuinely upsetting and infuriating to see one of my biggest inspirations to be in this community stoop this low. I didn't catch his emotional manipulation in his "Serious Livestream" until Nova helped me understand. (Props to him, serryn, and Mr. Weather btw) This also happened to bring out the worst in some people, which is pretty disheartening. Kids, be careful out there, the internet can be a dangerous place. Thanks for putting ur thoughts out there, Zigs. We really need to be more vigilant in this community, since this isn't the first time something like this has happened in this community, though I'm not sure if it even is one at this point, unfortunately.

Edit: I am beyond disgusted that this shit was able to happen in a community dedicated to creating analog horror in the form of using Emergency Alert Systems to tell a story, as well as news outlets to tell a story. Luckily s3x offenders generally are hated in prison if the other inmates know about their actions. I’ve heard stories of chomos, rapists, and just other sex offenders get their asses beat or killed in the most brutal ways in prison. Many of them can’t even be in general population because their get absolutely ripped to shreds. I can’t say I feel bad for them though. If you are shitty enough to sexually assault/r^pe anyone (and ESPECIALLY children), you are lower than dirt and deserve nothing but unhappiness and pain in your life.

As a minor (male), I am shocked and horrified about Clay’s actions. The things he did are inexcusable and unforgivable.
However… I am someone who believes in second chances.
As a Christian, we believe in forgiveness and peace. As long as Clay denounces and apologizes for his previous actions…
I still support him, and hope that he may get his saving grace one day.

I am so done with this shit.
After the one EAS Scenario I made awhile back, I've been getting questions on a regular basis such as: "Are you going to put out more Scenarios?" and "Are you going to join the EAS community proper?" and while I would have jumped on that opportunity at first, I look at all the drama that's come up over the past year, including this mess, point to it and say "I'm dealing with enough drama in my life as is; I really don't need this piled on top of it. That video was a cool little experiment for me, but I just don't see myself doing that kind of content regularly until that community gets it's act together."
And hearing about this mess has me thinking I made the right choice in staying away from further EAS videos for awhile. Even if it means I couldn't make that promised one I wanted to do for Sonic.EXE's 10th anniversary. That cut deep on a personal level, given how much of a fan I've been of EXE ever since the original fangame based on the creepypasta came out.
The point is, not only has ClayRanger hurt the community that is here, he's made potential community members, like myself, who showed interest in this sort of content, second guess our decisions and remain distant from it instead. For me, there's been several factors at play as to why I never put out another Scenario or joined y'all's community after the one Scenario I did make, and until I stop hearing about crap like this happening on a regular basis over on Twitter, I'm remaining firm in my decision. And all the pleases in the world from upset children is not going to change my mind. I'll change my mind when I see actual, PHYSICAL PROOF, that changes for the better have happened.

As someone who was groomed on the internet between the ages of 12-17, thank you for making this video. I am now 23 years old. Even if i minor "seeks" out this kind of response from adults online, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY as an adult to shut it down. Teenagers are full of raging hormones and dealing with a lot of stress. Especially us girls, sometimes we make poor decisions and trust the wrong people in order to find some kind of love or connection or approval.

We as older creators must do a better job of protecting minors from predators and evil people out there who want to do harm. Please be careful, minors! Better late than never to say this but I just have to say that I am very disappointed in how I handled this situation. The manner in which I reacted early on in this situation was not OK. While I was on the right side at first, I switched up after hearing Clay’s side of the story and hearing his lies. This was quite bluntly a snake act from me and an act I must take accountability for by addressing it here to the community. It was not OK for me to switch up and it goes to show that I can’t be trusted until I stop this behavior and stop trying to uphold some reputation or clout. Clay ERPing with a 16 year old was a red flag that should not have been downplayed. When an young adult chooses to ERP or do inappropriate things with a 16 or 17 year old, that is a sign that they have zero respect for boundaries. When someone justifies an inappropriate interaction using the age of consent, that is one of the ultimate red flags and goes to show that someone is more than willing to do pedophilic actions. Clay exhibited both of those red flags and they never should have been ignored or downplayed.
Let’s be real, I shouldn’t have defended clay when those red flags were raised in October, and I should not have talked shit about the people who were trying to raise awareness about who clay really was. As a result of my actions and the actions of others, clay was able to evade accountability for several months which led to him being able to do something very gross and violating. We failed the person who he violated and we failed those who he was victimizing over the course of the last several years.
While clay in January finally got what he had coming for him, with new evidence confirming that he was a creep, leading to me to stop defending or being sympathetic towards him as a result of his actions being indefensible, it came too late for his victims, who now must face the trauma of his actions. To those who clay did wrong, I’m so sorry that I didn’t take clay seriously when the flags were raised, I’m so sorry that I chose to defend him and not take seriously what he was doing. At this point, all I can say is that I did what I did and I can’t fix how I reacted the way I did. And most importantly, I’m sorry that you have to live with what clay did to you. You never deserved it.
To those who tried to expose Clay’s actions, I am sorry that i switched up and took Clay’s side. I am sorry that I talked shit about you behind your backs, I’m sorry that I didn’t take you seriously. I’m sorry that I contributed to the crowd making exposing clay very hard for you. I shouldn’t have contributed to you all losing a lot of friends or going through what you had to go through working to expose this predator. You should have been listened to by everyone and everyone should have cut ties with clay when you first brought the situation up. You did the right thing by working to expose Clay’s true colors and you didn’t deserve to be treated the way you were by me or a lot of other people. Without you, clay would have continued his creepy antics up today and nobody would have known and his victims would have had to suffer in silence, but you brought his victims peace and got them out of a terrible situation.
To clay if you happen to read this, I hope you read this after being out of jail, but if you happen to not be in jail yet by the time you read this, then it’s a sign our Justice system sucks. But know this clay, you will not get away with what you did. This will follow you for the rest of your life. You are a disgusting person and you deserve nothing but a jail cell. You are so gross and disgusting for pushing the boundaries, and there is no sensible way to justify being inappropriate with a minor, and age of consent doesn’t matter because a minor is a minor, including 16 and 17 year olds. I really hope you go to jail because you truly deserve to spend lots of time behind bars clay.
The way the clay situation was handled by myself and others is part of the reason why I have decided to leave the EAS community permanently. It’s not a good environment to be in when people don’t handle situations of creeps in the community in a proper manner, as was demonstrated by how this community handled clay being a sexual predator. I will have to work on being more critical of these types of situations myself in order to prevent me from defending a creep again, and I hope the EAS community does the same. I hope everyone does take time to walk outside too since I’ve been doing that and it has been good to my mental health. I’d rather not be involved in drama and would rather focus on building myself from here on out.

3:36 I Completely agree. Honestly I never watched his videos. But when I heard what he did I was utterly disgusted because I am also a survivor of abuse and I had to go through years and years of therapy because of CPTSD and association because of what I went through as a child. anyone who abuses children sexually or not should be locked up in prison for a very very long time.
I have CPTSD maladaptive daydreaming disorder conversion disorder, and numerous other conditions that I thought were part of autism that actually was the trauma response to the chronic abuse that I went through, which actually I endured until very recently even though I am an adult now.
Its so nice to see someone else who knows about CPTSD. I won't go into too much detail, but I think I have developed it, specifically through my teenage years. I basically have emotional responses similar to what you'd see in Borderline Personality Disorder, but only under conditions where it relates back to some sort of trauma.
Otherwise my mood stays relatively level-headed, aside from occasional depressional bouts. Certain things set me off and make me irrationally frustrated. But aside from a few triggers, it takes a *lot* to upset me or make me mad. Which is why I think there may be something specific there.

Thank you for coming out and speaking on this matter. Clay was the one who's content originally got me into the whole EAS scenario content as a fan, which then led me here to you. It's very sad to see this happen but it's very frustrating that he would go and do this sorta stuff. I honestly hope he seeks help, even though these actions he's already done will never be forgiven nor forgotten by this community. Very messed up

I was a fan of Clay's for a long time and when I first heard it, I was shocked. Even months later, I'm still upset by this. He has no excuse for what he did and he defends himself constantly instead of being the bigger person and admitting that he's in the wrong.
In the multiple interactions we had through social media, he seemed really nice and was never rude to me at all, so initially I had a hard time believing it until I saw the evidence. I'm still coming to terms with the fact that I idolized a monster who deserves to rot in prison. The evidence is damning for him and I hope he gets arrested, because he should not be out on the streets again. He doesn't deserve to see the light of day and the privilages of freedom, because he took it all for granted.

To be honest I always thought he was an annoying neckbeard. I’ve been into the alerting community for a really long time and I’ve never been able to sit through a video of his.
I just found the EAS video genre, and found it interesting, but now I am going to stay far, far away.
I don't personally see why. If you enjoy the content, just watch what you wanna watch. No need to try and get to know people if you don't wanna. I wouldn't let one bad example ruin your entire perception of the medium and the people that enjoy it.

Honestly Ace in my belief it total bullshit that a person like clay is actually having backup even when solid evidence more solid than bricks is shown hell how blind are some people? It obviously fact that this is proof that clay should not and i mean it should NOT!! Even getaway with this I was boiling with rage and disgust that actual people are defending clay even with their own reputation, like how can some even blindly think that clay is innocent? Like how obvious does the evidence how to be? It’s bullshit. Knowing that half of the eas community is mostly minors i now question them and their judgment towards other people, i can’t help myself but get so confused yet so angry about this clay knows he fucked up his fans know he fucked up? But why aren’t they accepting it? JUST WHY!!!
I want to say That well I used to defend Clay back when Nova's video dropped. That was until the GWES dropped the doc on that fateful day. I want to say What clay did was complete and utter horrible and disgusting. Hell the dude even followed me on twitter as I responded to him during an amber alert and I wanted to do a radio reviews episode with him. I also want to apologies for starting an argument that one time in your community tab. I see the Document that was dropped in the GWES as a form of a wake up call and a reality check. I was manipulated into his lies and now I'm glad that I'm able to move on from this. Radioactivegirl00 has been very nice and supportive of us moving on from this situation. (I will say I did not know clay had sent his fans to send P*rn to Nova. I for one did not and I wouldn't have even done that even when I still supported clay when nova dropped his video. As I am 20 years old (i was 19 at the time.) and that was just completely un called for.) I'm hoping that soon we will move on from this and just take this as something to remember.

Clay and DCO Nightingale (i hope the latter is doing alright btw, been very quiet) were my introduction to the fascination behind EAS Scenarios and now to hear what he's done after being a fan for i say 3 years total? is horrible. I'm both glad that this callout was made and kudos EAceS for doing what needs to be done and standing up to this shit, yet very disappointed that this behaviour Clay pulled off has spread to such a tight and co-operative community.
I sincerely hope those affected get the proper help they seek as my sympathies lie with thee, while also hope the Community overall does not turn away from the work you guys clearly put in to every vid. I do hope this doesn't damper the view of the community as a whole and instead strive to stand up and do the right thing like this vid does.

Initially, I found his videos to be enjoyable to watch. However, upon seeing the extent of how far he was willing to go in pursuits of absolute, horrific, and unconscionable depravity... I'm not going to support him in any way, shape, or form, as I cannot in good faith stand for the kind of conduct he's shown.
The EAS community is expected to maintain high standards, as many of the more respectable creators have said in comments or other videos, and what Clayranger143 has done runs counter to those standards.

Im quite new to this community *somewhat*, I have been watching the content from this community yet never really got involved nor am I still really involved either. But just by judging how every single community ends up with one person who does sexual abuse or stuff like that. Every single community like even from this to like what, everything at the end of time fan projects community, have had multiple people do this shit, and for long periods of time. Its incredibly fucking stupid I have to deal with this every time I get into a new community.

I understand that this is important and I'm only 17 and have never run a channel but can you please go back to the old content. a lot of my fav youtubers are get more in to real world events instead of there old content. what clay did was horrible. I'm not trying to defend him. he is very clearly sick in the head. I do partly feel bad for people like him as he is very truly sick. he needs help. most of the time when someone is sick like him it is from some kind of trauma. I hate the people do things like this trauma or not. its one the worst kind of things someone can do. I have lost a friend in the past for him likeing very young kids and at the time he was a porn addict. he started saying and implying horrible things and he lost most of his friends for it but found a group chat online of people that share his ideas and entered an echo chamber of sorts and now thinks he is in the right and refuses to go to therapy. its sad that there are people that cant be saved but clay and this guy cant be. it sucks that the eas now has had a person like him in it. thank you for getting the word out about this guy. this is the first time im hearing about this and it is gross as all hell.
I understand your frustration, and I'm sorry to hear about your experiences. In terms of content, don't worry, I don't plan on making a shift out of EAS stuff on this channel. The Clay thing was just something that needed to be done. New scenario coming very soon :)

It really is a damn shame that one of the most prominent members ends up being a complete and total shithead. As it stands, currently, the existence of his videos (and a few others) on the Duck Fart playlists is up for question. I can see one of two outcomes:
1) Any of his further videos will not be added. Any existing videos will be playlisted from collaborators, providing they have a copy on their channels.
2) Existing vids on the playlists will be removed altogether.
This is quite the dilemma. While I don't engage in any of the drama within the community and I absolutely do not condone to this kind of behavior, his scenarios are a part of the community's history.
Sorry if this is all a jumbled mess, I am a little fatigued.
UPDATE: I, ultimately, decided to remove any of the videos from the playlists featuring his username so that no revenue would be generated to that channel.
