    Glad to see you're still putting out high quality content on this subject, Josikinz. I recognized you from PsychonautWiki project, and just found this video off of the nexus. I've been on and off that wiki for nearly 5 years, so it's great to see the community still thriving. Subbed-Keep it up!

    At 32:00 you begin talking about the “End of the Line” experience. You mentioned feeling “as if my whole life had been building up to that moment…” I’ve had this experience as well and I classify it as a form of synchronicity in the subcategory of intense. There are synchronicities where someone says something you feel was meant for you. There’s another class that is more intense when it feels as if universally all the stars have aligned and that moment was meant for you like what you describe. This feeling plays a role in “resolution,” wherein everything is closed in and condensed and therefore viewable within a frame. When I had my natural spiritual hallucination when I was 15 I had actually become meshed with that feeling for an entire year. It was as if every move of a finger, a car driving by, a bird singing were all apart of this massive planned reality that I could experience each moment. As far as that goes I would say one who can sustain that state indefinitely is what we call a sage, but I will also say that with the current state of the world, without proper guidance, that state is not able to be sustained. Hallucinogens give a glimpse and people go back again and again for that insight unable to manifest it above the threshold of subconscious activity. Epigenetically, hallucinogens may play a role in transferring that brief rising of consciousness onto the next generations. Carl Jung’s “Synchronicities” may be of help to you.

    Audio windup / windout (with Lucy): Hanging w/ my two buddies, they were both on 4 hits and the goofball apparently doesn't know how to squeeze a vial, because he squirted at least 10 hits onto my tongue.
    🔊My friend and I were standing on our buddies apartment balcony because I was getting some fresh air, I didn't notice the ambient sound of buzzing at first, it seemed to be a rising crescendo, I noticed just as it came to a tumultuous crash... and it went silent.
    I asked my buddy, "Did you hear that." It was apparently in my head, because he asked what I heard and seemed totally unaware. So, I explained it to him... Then we went back inside.🤷

      Read this comment and had to chime in. My old band used to try to do this on occasion lol. Quite difficult to find a low enough dose that is actually active, but not physically inhibiting. There were some magical moments for sure, though. Notes would ring long and then glitch/ crumble away like ancient ruins

    On candyland and what I call the candy store. I've seen the candy land thing, but usually my eyes are closed so I visit candyland internally . In breakthrough I've seen something multiple times I call the "candy store". It is a space where bright shiny and beautiful objects are raining down. The first time it was like animated Childrens wallpaper with incredible depth and realism. It was raining actual candy. I've been in this space many times, and it rains different objects. My favorite that I remember was a rain of neon colored scientific equipment. Beakers, erlenmyer flasks, test tubes and microscopes. It's a distinct and wonderful space that I've visited often, usually accompanied by a sense of almost painful bliss.
    Escatothesia: I have had this happen. I saw my self being born and dying at the same time. Each scenario a fully realized mind movie, overlapping but not preventing me form experiencing each one fully. The, I popped out into some deep space sort of place. I was floating next to this impossibly massive chrome blob. I knew it was a ship of some sort, tat travelled by expanding. Then I knew that the ship was the end ov everything for us, because it was transporting a new multiverse. It was so beautiful and terrifying. And everything else.

    Tinnitus is a physical/mental affected state simultaneously. The inner ear is damaged due to repeated ongoing loud noises without the ability to give them a break and recover or a very immediate and extremely loud noise. The sensory hairs either become damaged and constantly send signals or stop sending signals and the brain makes up a sound for the lack of sound. Usually this presents itself in a form of constant tone although some people experience it in the form of scratching or wind patterns. The lack of the sound making it to the brain has been attributed to that part of the brain over time no longer being stimulated and therefore it "dies" which has leads researchers to believe it may contribute to mental dementia. Tinnitus can become worse if it is focused on and quieter if ignored. It can also be affected by stress, sleeping habits, and other things.

    I experienced something similar to jimjam on lsd weed and nitrous, its really more of a mixture of different effects i think as it doesnt totally fit jimjam not that jimjam is really a distinct subjective experience. What i experienced was largely synesthesia but i visualized it a large amorphous orb like blob of bright light that all my senses were connected to and it was stretching out to connect to them all while experiencing very intense synesthesia, i remember tasting the song i was listening to as well as other senses combining and mixing in ways i cant really put in words nor remember fully. The part about jimjam being delicious stood out to me due to the fact i have a vivid memory of synesthesia involved with taste while seeing the jimjam like hallucinations. I think it may have also been kinescoöptic hallucinations as i remember parts of the orb extending to my hands and my sense of touch though that could just fall under synesthesia as well. Thank you for uploading this I love being able to dive into stuff like this and your long form content and stuff like this is great for that.

    The only way any of this is possible is if it were not for oneself reaching many dead ends everything beyond it's entirety needs to do something and it's very strenuous I'm glad people are getting the message that they need to study and produce more here. But not what they were thinking but exactly what they were thinking. The network is far beyond oneself for the infinite law of nature can never know itself for even the laws of laws cannot comprehend that which they follow

    this is unbelievably fascinating i mean to describe and associate with another persons experiences with such clarity and hesitationless thought fluidity was astounding and additionally to the content, i found the familiarity with such concepts to be mindshattering as if really this is a shared experience and psychedelics are more than simply a regular old drug experience...fucking hyperspace lexicon thats incredible hahaha 🤣

    besides the experiment with your friends to verify astral projection, were there any stringent attempts like searching for volunteers with years of experience, instead of one simple test to prove validity

    • @russelllukenbill
      @russelllukenbill Před rokem

      This experiment at least shows that it is unlikely or impossible to experience an objective astral travel as a beginner. There is no sense in trying to convince someone who has taken a psychedelic the first time that they really traveled outside their body. Some people will lie to others after this kind of trip to try to mind control them into a cult. Being objective in this field is of the utmost importance.

    i feel like the hyperspace aims on conveying feelings/experiences more specifically while the sei tries to break the expirience down into more fundamental units, and therefore there are effects listed which are not fitting for the sei but still are quite useful for describing an expierence in a more emotional and personal way. So i think both are useful, but are suited for a different kind of goal.

    • @josikinz
      @josikinz  Před rokem +1

      I completely agree! The hyperspace lexicon is great and I love that it is completely free to lean into its own wackiness in a way that wouldn’t work within the SEI.

    The common understanding of “hallucination” is that it is entirely subjective, with no foundation in reality. The entry in the lexicon for _hyperreal_ supports this view when it asks, “Is the DMT experience real or just a hallucination?” However, I’ve observed that you - and most people - use the term when referring to any induced visual experience, which implies that these induced experiences (such as that of DMT) are, by their very nature, not real.
    The subjective element to such visual events is not in question, but calling them hallucinations shuts the door on the possibility of any other explanation, such as a heightened perception of events that can not be perceived by the physical senses.
    “Hallucination” isn’t in the lexicon but I would suggest that an alternate term be included in its stead. Many, such as Graham Hancock, incline toward using “vision” but that term is equally biased in that it presumes that the perceived entities are always real.
    My personal experience is that these visual events reveal pure, unmanifest potential. Just as the paints on a palette contain the potential for meaningless scribbles or an artful masterpiece once applied to canvas, psychedelic visions/hallucinations show us the cosmic potential that lies within us. How that potential manifests is up to the individual.

    Seriously!!iv tripped hard on al and although at times it seems there's a complete science within these experiences, at the end of the day although the experiences and effects are realenogh iv realised each experience is based on the individuals memory,feelings and headspace at that time,also a warped fucked up trippy reaction to a drug that is typically well known for fcking with your visual cortex and so on..no mystic bullshit.just enjoy instead of dissecting and naming every this and turn!!😂

    So, the 5MEO "Dissolution of Self" Fits 2 of your subtypes or rather the way I am interoperating them would seem to imply as much. During a 5MEO peak ego/identity/memory/life experience/ etc. has been completely annihilated, the "subject object relationship" is no longer present. There is nothing left of you in anyway, thoughts are no longer occurring, there is no access to any cognitive functions beyond a state of "pure subjectivity". This is all co-occurring with what you call "expanded self-hood", however in 5meo there is a distinct experience of infinite boundlessness, a distinct experience of not just being connected to, but actually being everything and nothing simultaneously. This typically occurs in conjunction with the "white light", "source energy", "source consciousness", "GOD" or whatever else one may call it. I mention this because none of my experiences with 5MEO (7 full release sessions) in particular line up with any single sub type of the Ego Death/sub types you have laid out, this could simply be lost in translation so to speak but I think if you were to look at using verbiage/ideas/concepts in your descriptions that center on the "Subject and Object Relationship" and the concept of "Pure Conscious Awareness" which would describe the absence of the subject object relationship etc. may help define the subtypes even further. Possibly a 4th subtype may need to be considered I don't know; this is just feedback from a dumbass who thinks deeply about these things but lacks the education. Am I just mincing words or does this help in anyway?
