  • In this video we decided to test out the water crossing that we initially came across during our Wombeyan Caves ride where we had to turn around as it was flooded.
    We left the motorhome back at Bullio and rode along Wombeyan Caves Road and turned onto Langs Road until we reached Taralga. We were lucky as the water level of the water crossing which was located along Brayton Rd which crosses Tarlo River was down we were able to cross and continue on through to Berima.
    It was a great ride overall and we were stoked that we were able to tick this ride off the bucket list!!

    So cool to see the kangaroos. Here in Kentucky, U.S.A. we have thoroughbred horses running in the fields. The valley drone shot, and others were great.

    Great to see you out there enjoying it remember adventure riding is exactly that an adventure it’s not a race you ride to your ability and experience I can relate to you being a bit nervous at times but as I’ve learned along the way is don’t overthink stuff in difficult situations sometimes it’s easier than you think and when it comes to crossing creeks or rivers spend some time going backwards and forwards through the same spot the more you do it the more confidence you will have and a certain amount of momentum always helps as going to slow can make things worse but it always pays to be cautious, happy days

    You don't have to ride fast to have fun...I find it more fun to ride safe! (And I like to keep myself and bike in one piece!)

    l was told when l started riding that if an animal runs in front of your bike to aim the bike at its tail to reduce the chance of hitting it🏍

    That drone footage at the beginning was amazing!! That property is AMAZING!! And the music went so well with it. I felt so anxious for you going over that crossing 😅. Your videos are great. Got to love our country. ❤ Thanks for sharing. 🤩

    Another bloody good vid Rem. Plenty of action and great shots with a down to earth narration and not a lot of standing around talking to the camera. As good as any of the other adventure bike channels so I hope you keep at it and your channel grows to the size it deserves. I spent a month this last summer riding a number of the iconic dirt roads of New Zealand south island with my son and wife. I hope one day you can make it over here I am sure you would love it.

    Hi guys I am really enjoying your videos. I know what you mean about the Wombats, I live in the Blue Mountains a few months back I was riding on some of the back roads to Bathurst on my KLR650 S and was crossing a very small water crossing however when I came up the steep incline of the other side of the water crossing a Wombat ran right out in front of me.
    I didn't know whether to go left or right?, and I didn't want to lose my momentum whilst going up the incline either, thankfully I just missed the Wombat by about 6 inches or so
    It certainly gave me a fright all the same

    What did your mum think of your bike? Did she say anything about the throttle control going slowly?

    • @RemAdventures
      @RemAdventures  Před měsícem

      She absolutely loved my bike and found it a lot smoother to manage on some of the loose gravel/rocks compared to her KTM 690. She is very tempted to swap bikes as she sometimes finds her KTM has a bit too much throttle power for her but will have to see what she decides.

      @@RemAdventures yeah the 690's are a lot of bike for anyone. Show her one of the new CFMoto MT 450. They look great, I'm even considering getting one. Great to see you back out on your bike and enjoying yourself.

    Where do u find these type of rides from???

    • @RemAdventures
      @RemAdventures  Před měsícem

      We basically just find a general area we want to visit and use the HEMA map app to get a vague idea of where to go and mostly decide what tracks to take as we go along. We definitely make a lot of mistakes/wrong turns but for the most part always seem to luckily find great rides.
