His parents are English and he is English. His accent is a typical British lancashire accent. Every area of britain has different local accents and every town or city in those large county areas has slight variations to each other.
I was trying to explain this to some Yanks on reddit the other day who were boasting about being able to understand "the" Scottish and Irish accent (as if there is only one of each).
There are loads of different scot, Irish and English accents. Some easy to understand, some almost impossible, even for other people who live in the same country. We have nearly 50 official different accents in the UK, half the time we can't even understand each other. And it only takes an hour or so in the car and it's changed 3 times. Not only the accents, but also words and phrases that are unique to that specific area. I'm cumbrian and we still use a load of old cumbrian words that aren't spoken anywhere else. I'm 33 and I'm still learning now that a lot of words I use are cumbrian and aren't part of general English. I've been told by Southerners on multiple occasions, that I sound Geordie, scouse and Scottish.... Which is just bizarre because none of those accents sound even remotely similar. So when people come to the UK, it must be like we're all talking in fucking riddles 🤣
You can see this quite a lot in boomers reactions actually, there are times when he completely misses a joke because he doesn't know what certain words mean. He's learning quite fast though considering the amount of them.
Tyson Luke Fury was born in the Wythenshawe area of Manchester on 12 August 1988, the son of Irish Traveller parents Amber and John Fury.
I'm from Tyldesley in Greater Manchester, Tyson is from Wythensawe originally I think. He doesn't have a pure Lancashire accent like we do round here. He does sound slightly Lancashire but he does have a lot of gypsy 'twang' to his accent. But that might be because my ears more tuned to the accent tbh! 👍

David haye was one of the best cruiserweight champions ever to come out the UK he had every belt including the ring magazine belt. He then moved up to heavyweight and also became world champion
dont even try to justify hayes career, they wont understand unless they already know,.. haye is right there with usyk and holyfield as a unified cruiser weight to move up and win a heavyweight title and no matter what he is doing as a pundit right now that should discredit that massive achievement

All excellent fighters who deserve great credit for being able to move up in weight and have a big impact on a division with no weight limit!

I've been following and involved with boxing for 45+ years and Tyson Fury is a genius and one of the very best I've ever seen at any weight. He does things that many boxing fans don't even notice just like Mayweather used to.

Fury has got a body most big heavyweight boxers should have, I don't think I ever seen him breathing out of he's arse once even after he's gone the distance, then you look at people like Joshua who has a large muscle mass and doesn't move nearly as much as Fury during fights but starts to tire a lot easier.

Apart from his size - the difference between Fury and others is that he is a master boxer with a fighter's mentality. Rarely do you get both in one fighter, but Tyson has that.
I always thought that David Hate was very underrated - perhaps too small to worry the big super heavyweights, but a very skilful boxer with a big punch.

This Haye V Fury fight didn't happen as Haye got Injured and had to have major shoulder surgery and a big cut. Haye won the heavyweight title by beating the 7 foot giant Nikolai Valuev. It was biggest weight difference in heavyweight history. They called in David Vs Goliath.

A lot of people judge David Haye unfairly on his performance v Klitschko. Haye was the best cruiserweight in the world and won a version of the HW title and beat some good HWs. Klitschko said Haye was the best fighter he fought before he fought Fury.
