Im just concern that every bogan in Logan with an Ecotec now has a formula to Turn their Centerlink funded skid pig in to a 379Hp one wheel peeler super skid pig. The streets will never be that same lol.
The cops would love it, within a week all there Kevin's will be sitting in the impound yard, paying them rent with all proceeds going towards the Xmass party. And all Paid for by Barry Bogan and his mates.
Even the most Centrelink funded skid pig has a welded diff. No need to remove the carrier... just blast it off with brake kleen and weld 'er up 😂😂

283rwkw is not bad for a completely standard ecotec. If you stuck a cam in with the supporting valve train components you could have made that same power with a lot less boost.
So apparently boat anchors can make some power!

Did you fellas delete the air conditioning? Also with the reverse plenum did the wiring near the throttle body reach over or did you have to extend the wiring. Cheers

Hello, I have a problem with the 3.8 ecotec engine. When I press the accelerator pedal, a slight gurgling sound appears, and when I lift the fuel, a slight crackling sound then fades and falls significantly. I have been suffering from this problem for a year and a half for the Lumina Model 2000
You're supposed to be the best exhaust shop in Qld, and it sounds like THAT!
Well, given the car doesn't so much have an exhaust as a 2 foot mang pipe plumbed straight to the deck, I think they're off the hook.
I dont think thats a full system. It sounds like its just the dump pipe
I think that snails got no more power left to give.. with a bigger one and revving it to 6k I recon she'd crack the 400hp mark pretty easily... add a few sneaky psi at the track to get the goal sorted 😊🤘

Geez, anyone who reckons a turbo barra sounds bad needs to listen to this. Kevin sounds like my Kenwood Chef on speed 10! If he could pull 8-9000rpm might be RB territory lol.
Shaun Dunford there’s a guy over here in the states who revs his to 8k in a Monte Carlo. Just look up 3800 series 2 turbo 8000 rpm... sounds pretty mental in comparison to this
I like the supercharger on the Ecotec 6,turbo's are expensive

Just make me respect the dirty barra even more 😂 reach around turbo and no intercooler living it's best life. Should wack a ebay water to air intercooler on it bigger fuel pump and e 85 tune see what it makes before it dies 👌👌👍
And the Barra was running half the boost & std pump fuel, and made 10 HP less.
Your right mate respect to the Barra, makes you wonder what the Barra could really do
At 15 psi with every pull through the mid range when your making your most torque those rod's will fatigue a little more each time till it throws a leg out of bed .

Yep. A water pressure washer makes >2000 psi of "boost".

It's at 15psi with stock head gaskets, not overly keen to push them out the side just yet lol
Falcon against Commodore sounds like fun. But couldn't you keep pushing Kevin with V6 till he blows !!! Then put the Falcon Barra into Kevin and repeat the procedure .... Same car , different engine. Be a nice comparison. We once boosted a stock LPI barra and managed 410rwhp on 7psi.....e85 of course.
Is that the same lump we got in the UK for Carltons, Cavs, Omegas or whatever else? Me old man used to come home for breaks in Vauxhall Senator 24v, Vectra V6 etc as well as the Volvo T-5, Mondeo ST24, ST200, WRX - seem to remember a late model V6 Cavalier (he was a motorway cop).
Not as far as I know, these are the older Buick motors as used in Buick, Pontiac etc in the USA market, Not the MV6
Nah they're straight 6s and the vectra v6 is only 2.5L and is absolute rubbish lol the 24v straight 6s go ok though from what I've heard but we don't have them in oz 👍
