I make this with coconut oil, pink Himalayan salt, couple drops of lavender oil, dried lavender flowers, and dried sage. I love it!
How long will the scrub be okay? For 1 year of less ?
It’s looking good, I would like to make some of that.
I love the green ring you're wearing
Me too❤️ so pretty
Raquel, your channel is so sleek and beautiful!! The same as your other social networks and blog, everything looks very professional and well crafted, the videos, the pictures, the typography, the overall design. It's a pleasure to see your contents. I hope you can do more DIY on cosmetic stuff (such as this scrub). I need some ideas to prepare gifts for my friends and family. Thanks for your time preparing these wonderful things for us.
Pía Carolina OMG thanks for your nice comments!!! this really encourages us to keep going! Thanks to you for watching all my socials and give me suggestions, we are working on that. XOXO
Easy and Simple! :) Thanks
Just use baking soda, epson salt/magnesium, coconut or olive oil, and a drop of your favorite essential oil for scent. The proportions/ratios don't really matter. Just be sure to go easy on the essential oil and don't make it too thin. I like mine almost dry and paste-like.
Wow so doing this now..x
Nice one
Thank you..
Awesome DIY video! Do you think it’s alright to use a mason jar instead of a hermetic jar?
Amazing video. Can I use fractioned coconut oil plz
Awesome!
Thanks!!!
Check out my IG @thechiclab.tv 😘
I've got Facebook. No IG.
Can You Use Avocado Body Oil Or sweet Almond oil Aloe Vera Gel Castor Oil.
Spectular! Can you add essential oils to it? If so, how much with this recipe?
I use like 10-20 drops per fragrance I want to add per lb of salt. Always do a quick allergy test if you’re working with new oils.
MY SKIN- and lemme tell u rn, I have a skin condition that makes it all jacked up, HAS NEVER FELT SO SOFT. IM IN LOVE.
Can we add shampoo along with it to scrub the scalp ?
I Love this thank you. :)
Sadly I don’t have coconut oil can I replace it with honey? Or coconut oil is needed for the recipe sugar and honey?
What particular brand of coconut oil you r using? Mine is just way too oily so m scared.
How many times a week can you do this ?
Instead of grinding the salt can you buy the fine grain?
Sohail Khan Yehhh
Yeah i bought some off amazon
Yep I bought some last week 😁👍
Look for ‘Organic Wonders’ on AMAZON Himalayan Salt they do fine and coarse salt organic
Sohail Khan yes of course
Can someone explain this for what, the do's
i want that plz
How long is this good for
I was wondering if I can use a food processor to grind the salt and also, how fine should it be.
Hi! Yes you can! Salt should be as fine as sand, but in my opinion it doesn't really matter since this type of salt melts in your warm hands. You may wanna rub the scrub in the palms and then apply it. Thanks for watching!
+The Chic Lab TV thank you for your reply! I testes the receipe and it us phenomenal!
Any preservatives we need to add
How long does this last? meaning how long can you use your t before throwing away
3-4month
would this work on knees and body to help with aches lol
Pretty sure it would. On your feet too. And as scalp scrub
question, does the coconut oil firm back up after it's mixed with the salt. Just wondering because I know that when coconut oil melts is and begins to cool it slowly begins to return to its firm state.
Isabelle Cornish yes
Isabelle Cornish not if it’s (fractionated) coconut oil, like she used in the video. She didn’t use regular coconut oil.
Use the liquid coconut oil instead
I had to use sugar as with eczema salt burns
How can I prevent this from leaving residue in my tub or clogging my drains
Salt is soluble in water. It will dissolve all will be well.
camera focus is annoying
but good tip
I only have the type of coconut oil thats
lotion. i only have coconut oil lotion, can i use it still?
that's not coconut oil. you get the oils from the oil section of the supermarket, in the baking aisle normally.
For how many days will last???
I wonder if they already make a bar of soap like this.
Want one!
sure you can but you need to buy a starter kit from Bramble Berry which I love that has more scents that are wonderful. Soap base to make soap bars with cocoanut oil, which is great. I have used Rose scents which I love.. and others too.
I make my own
I used coconut oil but noticed when applied to your feet especially while in a bathtub it gets slippery. So for safety purpose any specific oil should be used? Any body try it with different types of oils and aroma?
you can try grapeseed oil
Does it help in reducing dark spots?
Yes! I try this scrub, is amazing for stretch marks and dark spots.
The only coconut oil i have is a edible cooking coconut oil? Is that ok or no?
lana lana yes its the same I used for this
Say I would want to make my own version of this and sell it. How long would it last? I’m trying to stay natural with no preservatives.
KasandraMarie Im no expert, but I used the entire jar for about 6 months.
The Chic Lab TV okay! Thank you!
is this good for feet?
Yes
So how do you use it?
TheWitness1001 I scrube any other day
Coconut oil clogs your pores but whats the shelf life?
I used the entired jar and have no problem with my skin, and I´m an oily type one :)
Grind? when was this video shot? Flintstone era?? :) i'm sorry, had to.. hope they show how to make fire too...
Just teasing everyone...just thought it was odd..
How long will the scrub be okay? 1 year?? Or less
Oil wont be removes from body. Also, ready to clog washroom pipes
Can this clear scars on your forehead?
No just exfolieates
Where can I use this scrub? Is it ok on my face?

If you have any facial hair issues, skip the oil and use honey or cream.
Too wet!
