    I make this with coconut oil, pink Himalayan salt, couple drops of lavender oil, dried lavender flowers, and dried sage. I love it!

    Raquel, your channel is so sleek and beautiful!! The same as your other social networks and blog, everything looks very professional and well crafted, the videos, the pictures, the typography, the overall design. It's a pleasure to see your contents. I hope you can do more DIY on cosmetic stuff (such as this scrub). I need some ideas to prepare gifts for my friends and family. Thanks for your time preparing these wonderful things for us.

    Just use baking soda, epson salt/magnesium, coconut or olive oil, and a drop of your favorite essential oil for scent. The proportions/ratios don't really matter. Just be sure to go easy on the essential oil and don't make it too thin. I like mine almost dry and paste-like.

      I use like 10-20 drops per fragrance I want to add per lb of salt. Always do a quick allergy test if you’re working with new oils.

    • @ThechiclabTV
      @ThechiclabTV  Před 8 lety +5

      Hi! Yes you can! Salt should be as fine as sand, but in my opinion it doesn't really matter since this type of salt melts in your warm hands. You may wanna rub the scrub in the palms and then apply it. Thanks for watching!

    question, does the coconut oil firm back up after it's mixed with the salt. Just wondering because I know that when coconut oil melts is and begins to cool it slowly begins to return to its firm state.
