Just fyi anyone who tries this. Your bars will turn brown from the dried herbs. Also many of these recipes aren't going to stay solid once the base starts absorbing water from the air. ♡

So yes I also made this soap n my rose petals turned brown. Is there any other way that it cannot turn brown or else I can put something else in it?

for those people who are asking about the liquid soap base ,you could always take a unscented dove bar of soap ,chop it up into small pieces,
put into a plastic zip lock bag thats microwave safe and then re-bag it again -and then microwave it on short burst in the microwave!
or if you have no microwave just boil water ,and then take off the fire and gently place the double bagged soap chunks in the pot and it will melt
around 10 minutes! -then what you do is press lightly on the bag to make sure that their are no chunks that didnt microwave in the bag -and by pressing
on it,its like mushing the hot soap to be more liquid.then once i was done pressing the bag ,i cut the bag at the tip of the bag and into a cup.
this is what i originally did in the beginning. then i found out some plastic zip bags are microwave safe- im like ok -duh!
and its only 1 or 2 dollars to experiment this project.
I DID NOT ADD COCONUT BECAUSE THE OIL NEUTRALIZED THE SOAP BUBBLES.!

If you are really looking for a good healthy soap base please do not buy crafters choice or anything from your local craft store. SFIC has great melt and poor options. You will want to heat the melt and poor in a microwave or double boiler and pour into the mixture then pour into a mold. It will cool and set on its own in 1 hour but best to let it set for at least 24-48 hrs.

Baking soda tends to be a bit too abrasive in the skin, so I wouldn't recommend that, but I'm sure you can do it with sea salt. If you DO use sea salt, just be careful with it. It's alot harder, denser, and much more abrasive than sugar. Sugar is alot more gentle on skin.
