Just fyi anyone who tries this. Your bars will turn brown from the dried herbs. Also many of these recipes aren't going to stay solid once the base starts absorbing water from the air. ♡
So yes I also made this soap n my rose petals turned brown. Is there any other way that it cannot turn brown or else I can put something else in it?
@@racheltelles922 nope. All dried petals, fruits, and such would turn brown. You'd be better off adding soap flowers than real. ♡
@@rachaelt3294 soap flowers? Where will I get it?
@@racheltelles922 you can make them with melt and pour soap.
@@rachaelt3294 alright
I saw the thumbnail and got hungry.

I thought it was chocolate with rose petals

Natural soap for healthy skin nice remedy useful for all👍👍👍great sharing..
Beautiful bars. Great idea! Thanks for sharing.
for those people who are asking about the liquid soap base ,you could always take a unscented dove bar of soap ,chop it up into small pieces,
put into a plastic zip lock bag thats microwave safe and then re-bag it again -and then microwave it on short burst in the microwave!
or if you have no microwave just boil water ,and then take off the fire and gently place the double bagged soap chunks in the pot and it will melt
around 10 minutes! -then what you do is press lightly on the bag to make sure that their are no chunks that didnt microwave in the bag -and by pressing
on it,its like mushing the hot soap to be more liquid.then once i was done pressing the bag ,i cut the bag at the tip of the bag and into a cup.
this is what i originally did in the beginning. then i found out some plastic zip bags are microwave safe- im like ok -duh!
and its only 1 or 2 dollars to experiment this project.
I DID NOT ADD COCONUT BECAUSE THE OIL NEUTRALIZED THE SOAP BUBBLES.!
This was so satisfying to watch!
Relaxing and I will be trying this soon , thanks for
Sharing
beware of honey, honey may leave the soap feeling soft/mushi , try to avoid using honey in melt and pour soap base
Why isn’t this channel more well known?
@@sadhana3190 oh no...
i love it! cant wait to try, subscribed!
Do u tried??
Hi..lovely idea for soap..but can you please tell, what is shelf-life for these soaps??
I find that it is a good idea to make these single use. Think about the size of an ice cube. Less chance of them getting icky hanging out in the shower.
Soap base is available at Michael's near me it's an arts and crafts store
Most craft stores have them
Or just order online
Thank you ! Im thinking of trying the shea butter base from them. Any thoughts?
@@makeoversbymeme2077 I just made some oatmeal soap with that base last night. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it was much easier than I expected. I had put it off for months thinking it was a longer process.
@@makeoversbymeme2077 i really don't suggest this recipe if you are using melt and pour soap base. In melt and pour soap base if you add extra coconut oil then you will find the extra oil on the top of the final product. I have tried several recipes for melt and pour soap and that's what i concluded.
@@ST-us7kq thanks so much for sharing your knowledge !
Brilliant Video
Hi. What’s the shelf life of sugar soaps? And is there a need to add preservatives?? Thanks in advance. Fantastic video ❤️
Omg I've been spending how much at Lush!?
Sweetie you can make anything you want and save money. You just have to do the research on what ever you are trying to do or make. Yes. "Lush" cost alot and the products can be made in a factory cheap and they bring it to America and jack up the prices to make more money. I learned the hard way and found i can make the same things and better and make a profit for myself. I justed wanted to share with you and others on youtube
By spending more at lush you're helping poor people from underdeveloped countries to earn a living since a lot of their earnings go for charity.

Stunning thanks
If you are really looking for a good healthy soap base please do not buy crafters choice or anything from your local craft store. SFIC has great melt and poor options. You will want to heat the melt and poor in a microwave or double boiler and pour into the mixture then pour into a mold. It will cool and set on its own in 1 hour but best to let it set for at least 24-48 hrs.
You should NEVER put rose petals, lavender buds or any botanicals ( except dried Calendula leaves and blue Cornflower) into melt and pour bases. They will decay and form mould. Any soap practitioner knows that. It is a basic knowledge.
I see so many posts that are just wrong.
Do u use suger power or cyrstle sugar... Loved your art of making them
Something know I got to try I guess I could buy all the ingredients on Amazon thank you
Beautiful!! Do the flowers turn the soap brown eventually?
Great video!! Essential oils would be great to add to the soap!! Or just use them both separately!! 😊
I was wondering, do you need to cure this for 4 weeks or is it ready to use once it has hardened? Xx
Ready to use
Very nice . Thank you for a wonderful video
would you have to put soap base and just use the mixture before the base as a lip scrub or exfoliator?
But... but they look so delicious! 🥺
How can you not not eat those. I 😕
😂😂😂 I feel ya on that they do look delicious
😁😊👍💐

😂😂m bhi yahi sochi par Ye toh soap nikli 😂😂🤣🤣good quality 😆😆😂🤣
Love all of them!
The heat from the soap base will dissolve the sugar.
The rose water will dissolve the sugar - which isn't good for your skin anyway...
Soap demonstration at the end...
Nobody washes up like that in real life! Lmaooo. But these soaps look like EXACTLY what I need for my skin!
How long can we keep them?
I can’t wait to make these 😍
Righttttttt, I can't wait to. They look really pretty.
Let me know how it helped you when you used it please
It would be goodful to know which kind of soap base can be used. Melt & pour or liquid like Dr Bronners. Thanks
Vi Isaac I think this is using the melt and pour soap base. They just melt the mp soap base and add the additives and it will solidify back. But Dr Bronner’s won’t solidify as it is already a liquid soap.
People annoying asf

Lol you can day that again!
Hello mam, its awesome. But will it work for all skin types or wat to add omit or replace for oily, combination, normal etc skin types
That's great! is it possible replace the sugar with sea natural salt or baking soda?
Baking soda tends to be a bit too abrasive in the skin, so I wouldn't recommend that, but I'm sure you can do it with sea salt. If you DO use sea salt, just be careful with it. It's alot harder, denser, and much more abrasive than sugar. Sugar is alot more gentle on skin.
Amazing video
Out of curiosity, what constitutes the “rose quartz” name if no rose quartz is incorporated? It’s a bit confusing? Thank you for this video, I thoroughly enjoyed watching! Blessings!
after mixing every thing do you melt it again and then pour in moulds? is the sugar powdered?
좋은 영상 감사합니다~
Thank you😊
Hello sis. We have to keep in fridge or in room temperature? And how much time it will take to become a bar?
Lovely video! What are you using as your soap base?
You can buy soap also called melt and pour
Can these soaps be used on the face? Are they gentle?
I followed the directions exactly but my mix turns into a thick mess impossible to pour. What the secret to your liquid, easy pour mix?
Hi i would like to know the measurements in grams please
They look more like sweet cubes
Nice!
Do you freeze them or just let them sit out?
Are they putting it in the freezer or no ?
Thanks
Que lindos son super jabones muy nutritivos buenos q buenas ideas gracias.🙋☺💐🌹🌾🌿🌻🌷🌱🌳🌹💮🌸🌻🌺🍁
Do I need to put preservatives if I will sell it?
do you pour the soap base in while its warm? if so wont it melt the sugar?
Can i use shea butter instead of coconut oil?
Due to you having a lot of sugar and other ingredients, does your soap still get as soapy?
The soap base is soapy
I am going to try this and gift my cousion on her wedding
Does the sugar dissolve partly?
Very nice sugar scrub
Do you need to freeze them or does it solidly pretty well on it’s own
On its own and quite quickly
Christalsbeautyreviews PinkBeauty oh
Soap bases take at the most an hour to harden......
That was my exact question lol
Home made choclates are made in the same moulds, they need to be frozen, but coming to melted soap bases..they solidly when kept in room temperature......
Did u keep the tray at room temperature?
Sugar melt nai hoga everyday ? And also lik packing bhi wett to nai hoegi ?
Which Soap base did you use as there's different type
Can sea salt/himalayan salt be used instead of sugar?
Great 👍
5he soap lookee like it had absorbed the water and turned to liquid?
is it possible to replace melt and pour soap with cold processed?
do the bars stay as frozen bars? and whats the shelf life?
Please put video tutorial for coconut milk soap with soap base
I don’t know where to get soap base. Is there a handmade recipe for it?
Michael’s 🧼
Why did this make me hungry??
You can spray the tops with alcohol after pouring into mold to prevent the bubbles from forming on top.
Yes, use Alcohol on the three that I made. I made the Rose, Lavender and Charcoal Scrubs
I thought it as some sweet recipe in the thumbnail
hello did you freeze these you never gave out the way to make it hard
Hi
When I made soap using dried rose petals they turned black in 3-4 days. What should b done so that they don't get black
Same happened to mine when I mixed it. .I was using long stem dried red rose turned the soap a blue color. .. just going to call it "blue rose soap" .. put pink mica prefer in it. .. it's still pretty and smells good. .
They will turned black. Same goes for lavender. I trief both. Its not pretty..so i just used the flowers for photo only
Can i skip coconut oil and make a sugar, activated charcoal, honey and turmeric combo?
Can we add normal coconut oil or we have to use cold pressed only
Is the soap base a “melt & pour”?
it seems so unfortunately
Can this be use to wash face or body or what is this use specifically?
Just have to be careful as botanicals go moldy in soap bases if not used straight away and they can clog the drain if not disposed properly.
Hi hello! Do you use a natural non scented soap base?
Hi. Do you have to add a preservative?
as she is using soap base, no need for extra preservatives. soap bases are already high in ph
Does it get hard as hit sits? Or how do you make it hard? And how does it have to be stored?
how long can this scrub keep? need to put inside freezer??
What is the base of the soap, please? I mean the last article you put?
عبق الحياة lye
THESE RECIPES ARE DUFF. AS SOON AS YOU MIX THE SUGER MIXTURE WITH THE SOAP BASE IT BECOMES A GLUE LIKE MASS AND IT CANNOT BE POURED.
You have this result, Did you try the formula with honey ?
I agree. I literally just made the rose one and it did not stay fluid at all. 😒
Hi, I Wana ask if I make it for sale. WHT preservatives should I add. WHT would be the shelf life of these
What do u do after pouring the mixture into the mold?..do u freeze it??
If we pour the soap base which is in liquid state that is in hot condition.... Sugar gets melt then how can it exfoliate??? 🤔
I would think if you used a larger crystal brown cane sugar, like turbinado, it would have less melt. I put regular sugar into coconut oil for a lip exfoliant and the grains stayed in shape
Soap melts at 60 while sugar needs more temprature to melt
What size is the soap mold per square
Did you set it aside or put in the fridge? Lol
Has anyone tried this? Does the pedals turn brown in this soap?
Why haven't you sprayed alcohol after pouring the liquid one in the silicon tray??
Quick question! Does anybody know if I can switch the regular sugar with brown sugar. Asking bc I usually have brown sugar thanks!
Mmmm Gggg I used Brown Demerara and worked the same. Brown sugar gives a warm colour too
You cannot add melt and pour soap base with those dried and/or fresh botanicals because they will all ROT AND MOLD unless they go through a saponification process. No rose petals, no green tea, no lavender buds.. that is melt and pour 101! The very basics!
So when it says 3/4 cup of soap base does it mean before or after melting?
After melting
Soap base isn't in jar? You have to heat it?
where can i find the soap base ??
Once you mix everything and pour it into the mold, do you let it harden, or do you freeze it? If you freeze it, how long do you freeze it for?
Sabrina Dudra I guess until it hardens enough for usage?
Just wait for it to harden. The soap base sets really quickly, so assuming you don’t live in an oven, it’s less than an hour or two.
