The shots of you guys ice breaking were amazing, the drone footage of the ice in the wake was super cool - great ending to the season.

Love seeing, and hearing, the old ZX getting ridden! I just got back into sledding this year, after not riding since 09. Did a few mods on my 03 Summit, rocking a 163x16x2.5 powdermax now, had an absolute ball this winter.

Tough winter down there for snowmobiling. Long one up here in Saskatchewan. Basically 5 1/2 mo. Never lost our white after Nov 02. Hope ‘23 - ‘24 treats you better.

Recently went back to my roots and added a trail sled and understood why I can't keep up on the trails. It's good to go fast again.

A friend of mine still runs the old 700 and you go in July with that sled with no worries, we used to do 30 miles up well then back on a river and ya they great on water

Great video Matt, love your content. If I was to get a trail sled, it would be the one I own, a 2023 Renny Xrs 900r turbo. Best trail sled I've ridden, and I've ridden a lot. For you though, taking into consideration you'll only ride it once or twice a year, I'd have to say a MXZ Xrs 600r would be all the machine you would need

When you get older you see the point with a good trail sled. I just turned 40 so of course I had to get myself a thundercat. Got pack box and high windshield to it. Rides like a Rolls :D
Sad seeing winter leave. We still have snow in Minnesota to go snowmobiling, but it’s getting worse. Yes the trails are open as of now but there is no groomers.
I’m just a bit south and water skip my old 900 all the time ❤️. I miss riding out west but it’s the only thrill I get on a sled around here now lol. If you do another one next spring let me know, I have a few buddy’s that all water skip a ton and would love to join.
Gonna miss the videos. Always sad when winter ends and I don’t get to look forward to these videos…

For a trail sled. I recommend an Assault 850. It's basically a 146 trail sled.

If you were looking for a trail sled why not try the Catalyst? 600cc is plenty for twisty trails in Ontario and you get to try the new chassis.
I’d probably go MXZ 850 in a 137 personally though.
Agree the 600 is good for trails around here. I rode one for a bit a few years ago. I thought it was great
VR1 850 is a nice trail sled.
