  • We just got our hands on the first set of Stage 2 Cams to arrive at our store and immediately did a build on this Indian Challenger. Watch the process on how the cams are installed and check out the Bassani Xhaust 2-into-1 system with the Indian Motorcycle Air Cleaner and mid-rise bars. We can't wait to see what this bike can do on the street once the snow melts!

Due to the insane amount of work involved to install these cams, Indian should just offer a factory built Challenger model with the cams already built in.

Next week Indian Motorcycle of Metro Milwaukee adds a Stage 2 kit to my 2021 Challenger. After watching this and another CZcams video on installation of the Stage 2 kit, I understand the complexity of the job, the skill involved in properly installing the Stage 2 kit, and the labor charges that I will incur.

I've contracted Dynojet weeks ago regarding an updated PCV tune for the PowerPlus cams and their reply was they did not have any plans to generate a new fuel map for the PP108 cams at this time. Although, my 2020 Challenger has been in the Dealership shop since February 4th (todays date is 02.19.2021) due to there seems to be an issue with the new VCM1 (required for 2020 models) replacement not wanting to communicate or accept the new ECM download necessary for the new cam install.

It nets you a total of 12HP.
You can buy a harley M8 114, and make as much power with a fraction of the cost and you can do it in your garage.
You can do stage 3 107 to 119 for a lower price, and make more power than this challenger.
Challenger is fine if you dont want to mod anything. If you do, get the harley.

This should be offered on a premium model- from the factory, where the labor would not require tear down and replacement parts.

LMFAO what a bad design for upgrading. At least harley considers this stuff when they design a new bike.
You can literally install a stage 2 for an M8 in an hour without disassembling the entire thing.
You can install a bigbore stage4 and all you have to do is take off the gas gank.
This bike is designed like a car.... No consideration for the mechanic who has to work on it after the factory builds it.
All that work and money and it only makes 12HP more.
