So I mainly fish for bass, but my club had a pike/Muskie tourney last month. I’ve never specifically targeted either. I watched all of these videos, and freakin’ WON. Nice way to cap off the year up here in MN. Big thanks to you bro!
If high school was all about fishing I would have graduated at secondary 1 🎣
Right? I’m actually taking notes voluntarily from this guy.
I am a pike fanatic and loved getting some great tips. Thank you!
Love catching them
Greetings from Poland. Thanks to your advice, I caught my biggest pike. 107 cm and 9 kg in weight. Great channel, great knowledge, it's a shame so few people use it. I am certainly grateful. All the best.
This series of videos are the most informative videos out there.
Gotta give a guy a solid Thanks for information that will always be relevant. Thank you.
Great info, tough crowd. :D I thought the mother joke was awesome, haha.
Thank you so much for uploading this series and for your expertise. What a treasure these videos are.
CZcams is such a tool for spreading knowledge
Great vid mate - I'm going to find the other two parts now ! Thank you - and I love that your Mum rang and we got some ACDC in a fishing clip ! Nice one
Excellent; many thanks. Highly relevant to where I wish; Bassenthwaite lake Cumberland England.
Really helpful.
You and I have an equal passion sir. Thank you for the vid
Just thought I’d let you know how one of your lessons helped me. Mid afternoon, outside a bay where I never would have concentrated your efforts, pulling a 2.5 inch gulp on a jig. Caught a 15.2lb pike, a personal best. Obviously she must have stuffed herself in the morning but she was willing to take a slow moving morsel. One picture and she went back to be caught again. Thanks for these videos. Hope you’re well!!!!
Great video .. Im brand new to fishing pike (never caught one) I've always caught other kinds of fish .. Im trying to learn .. and this video is awesome .. thanks great vid !
thanks for the great helpgul information!
i share your passion for northerns! and tiger muskie (though i have never caught a tiger muskie) im glad i ran across your video bc it answered some questions i had and helps me understand the species better : )
Imagine a lake that is 926 ft deep with no shallows and very small. A natural spring lake full of big pike that no body ever catches. What would you do in this situation? How deep do you think they go and how should you fish for them? I have this problem here in Michigan. Tiny lake super deep, no shallows. Only a fishing dock to fish from.
Great info.
In the summers I have caught alot of pike on spinners and X Raps "blue and silver colour" and Red, of all sizes. fast retrieve flicking the rod tip at the water.
Thank U .
Good videos
I didn’t see a break in negative temperatures until March then in a matter of a couple weeks it was 50+ then deep back in the negatives it’s been a weird year in Alaska. Also pike are delicious and I’m so happy they’re invasive here and killing trophy fish is applauded.
pike are also my favorite fresh water fish followed by the muskie then walleye then smallmouth in that order
You got a new sub brother!!
"Mother" I need cookies lol!!
ATTENTION: I have created playlists of all Angler’s Xperience seminars, episodes, and tech tips on my CZcams channel. Please feel free to use them.
I'm from Sandpoint!
If you can find water deeper than 25ft in winter, with panfish or walleye anglers on it, youve found most of the big pike. In waters that deepn most of the catch and release fish die of barotrauma and die just under the ice. Those biggest pike in that part of the system key in on that. If youre 28ft of water with ppl all around, set a 10" or better dead bait about a foot under the ice on a tip up. Youll be shocked how many large fish you catch. In a basin, the underside of the ice is the dominant structure, and where the easier to get larger meals are. They know that. Too bad more folks cant be convinced on how well it works. If you try it onen i can promise youll try it again.
I can imagine fish doing exact scetches where the fisherman gonna be and how to avoid them 😂
will sasso?
That's why he looked familiar.
Checked for this comment XD
I am headed to the BWCA the second week of June. Do you have any advise or videos for Pike & Walleye in Mid-June.
Its a cold June, water temp in CDA is about 53 or 54 degrees...do you think the Pike are still shallow...or hanging on edge and coming in during the day?
U have a video on dead bait????
Bro they need to have they own show played on travel Channel
As if ... during the week I caught a few more pike, 75-82 cm in size, so it's not only luck.
can you plz tell your mother to send some cookies to Portugal too? great vid btw
Excellent fisherman with this one simple comment and I paraphrase "I don't fish deadbait, I don't like it they tend to swallow it and ... I want to release my fish alive".
Carp first then pike ,river carp are a fight
my pike spawn under the ice or just barely after.
Need help finding fall time pike, any tips anyone ?
Blake Levarno similar to spring
'Kay.
Cell phone dude
Can someone explain me. Why south part of bay becomes warm up the faster? 🤯
It doesn't, the North side warms up faster due to the low angle ot the sun in the winter ther North side of the bay gets more light.
@@FishNFoolLures thanks
You should of told your momma you love her but you're busy and you'll call her back after work. That would of made her super happy, but you did ok not great but exceptable. You'll do better next time.
Depends on how motivated that 300 pounder is 😂😂😂
