KHS repackaging line for variety packs

Variety packs, also known as rainbow packs, are becoming increasingly popular with consumers. The KHS repackaging line enables different flavors of one beverage to be combined in the same secondary packaging using highly-automated, tried-and-tested KHS technology.
Thanks to its high degree of automation, the line configuration also allows variety packs to be produced in the high-performance range for the very first time, processing up to 120,000 cans per hour. Here, containers previously placed by type onto trays and pallets are separated and recombined to form mixed packs. The constellation of products is extremely flexible, with packs of four, six, eight, twelve, 18, 24 and other compilations all possible. Not only is the pack formation flexible; the machine output is also highly adaptable. Suitable configuration options for both the low- and medium-capacity ranges are therefore also available.
