I've been looking for the finale from this Tattoo for so many years. I used to have this recording in LP but it got lost during a move.
drum major Willie Miller was my wifes cousin so proud of him
Nice one.
03:49 and 11:11. My Dad playing the bass drum for the 1st battalion Royal Scots ❤️
Awesome Yvonne. If he is still alive, thank him for his service from me.
Awesome!!!!
It feels strange to hear The 79th's Farewell to Gibraltar without a band joining the pipes!
Senior drum major the royal Scots royal highland regiment 💂🏴
Including the Pipes and Drums of the 4th Royal Tank Regiment and the 2nd Battalion Scots Guards.
Have you got more of this or other tattoos? Great to see the older ones! Thanks for uploading
The 4th Royal Tank Regiment were wearing the Hunting Rose tartan. The 1st Royal Tank Regiment continues the tradition. The Tattoo commentator said that the 4th RTR were wearing the McKenzie tartan and that was wrong!
The commentator was the distinguished Tom Fleming, himself a fellow scot, unlike him to make a mistake.
