Hey man, I remember when the 49ers used to always beat my Rams in the playoffs in the 80s and 90s. Many of those during the NFC championship game. So yeah, we were owed one.
Actually, the Rams and the 9ers played against each other only once in the playoffs, 1989 NFC Championship game. They were seldom good at the same time, so they rarely met in the playoffs.
Just wanted to say, even tho ya'll lost, it takes guts to post a losing reaction, so much respect from the Bay ✊

Man some of theses 49ers fans really think they had an easy shot at making it to the super bowl. Yes you won against the packers which yes amounts to quite a bit but they still had a low chance making it to the wildcard. The fact that they got here so far is impressive enough. I’m just sick of 49ers fans saying what a terrible way to end the season when in reality they had the best outcome of the season for a team of that caliber. I understand as a rams fan I love that we beat the 9ners, however I will say they were a tough foe this year and it didn't surprise me we won the superbowl in a very similar way than the nfc championship. Burrow is praised and Jimmy G is given the blame, I think burrow and Jimmy g could have won both those games but they didn't cause the rams played as a team and beat everyone who stood in their way. It was LA's year our time to shine.

When Jimmy has to win the game himself he can't he's a good play manager but he can't carry the team on his back like a great qb should. Rams fan here. Jimmy G was near perfect up til the 4th. The Rams defense step it up at the end. I believe he is just injury prone and at the end it impacted his performance. Hoping the best for him in the future. Last drive by 49er was scary because they owned Rams in a comeback win last meeting. No doubt if 49ers made SB56 they would smack the Bengals for a third time.

I'm from L.A and I always wanted a NFL team (moved to AZ in 2005, was too young back in the 90s when we had a NFL team) now that I moved to Arizona not only do we get a team but it goes to the Superbowl wow. But I feel like NFL games are sometimes fixed, what a coincidence that this new team to L.A is going to the Superbowl in their newish stadium 🏟️, with L.A having a reawakening, making everything fancier and jacking up the rents and property values.
