@williamcowell1889 The formation spreads the defense out so you have less defenders to beat. Receiver was supposed to catch the ball and then run behind the blockers. Zeke and Dak follow behind to catch a lateral when necessary. Didn't work because the blockers couldn't get to the guy that made the tackle. They should have had a second option for the first pass because the play has no chance of working if the first pass gets stopped. The play can't work if the defender is playing tight.

Not spiking the ball was probably a worse call than whatever that last play was because of how much time they lost. It also prevented them from devising a play.
