Chad is a leader. Hes playing great footy at the cowboys and he is a massive stakeholder in their success this year.

be nice if refs never made a wrong call but respect for acknowledging it and fixing it on the spot.
The NRL refs are very good. They stick to the top rules. If its a really hard game they allow a little laying on as they understand the players are tried.
Yeah, great job by Chad in appealing respectfully but firmly and great job for the Ref to turn it around. Don't even know his name, as it should be. Awesome job, mate. You made a mistake and acknowledged it and will likely never make that mistake again.

Payten said Chad was here to lead and oh my goodness heâs absolutely doing his job. Heâs not the most talented player in the Moses or DCE mould but heâs one of the most hard working and professional around, and you can really see it rubbing off on everyone - he explains clearly *why* the strategy is what it is and gets everyone to buy in, instead of meaninglessly just barking orders.
Some guys get respect based on name but Townsend, who was never a Dally M medallist or big name player, does it purely with his leadership and hard work. Iâm so bloody glad to have him at the Cowboys.
Yeah. DC and Moses like you said are talented but they don't lead there team. Soon as there team start to fall they fall with them. They are not vocal enough to be true leaders. Chad kept his team up and working hard. Working hard will always beat just talent.
