Love how Thurston is one of the best players in the NRL and he just sits there and listens like student.
This is a great way to view the game. I like this. I almost prefer to not hear the commentators, they're annoying at times. Hearing the game through player/coach atmosphere sends out a different perspective of how the teams structure each play. Awesome

Its a assistant coach or a member of the coaching team and the coach talk to him and he says the the players and league safes

He's the high performance manager (physio, training programs, fitness targets etc), and on game day this is his "on-field' role. It's to interesting to see his role from this perspective and how much of a key figure he is during games. Many people would assume he just runs out the water and towels, but far from it
