Really the question is: How much damage have people done to their hands trying to hurt Uncle Chaels head ?
Have you seen how his fight with lyoto machida ended? A stoppage was called to protect machida after uncle chael landed a massive head butted on his knee.
@@antuanperez426 yes what happened to Machidas knee was brutal
Not Lyoto lmao
@@antuanperez426 brings me back to askren headbutt on masvidal knee. Yikes
Jon Jones shattered his foot just trying to do any damage to Chael. So glad Chael didn’t allow the fight to go any longer than 1 round else is worry for Jon’s well-being
“Michael stop doing that, that hurts so bad” had me dying 😭😂
damn...
lmao....just him beggin the whole match to stop hurtin him
Imagine chael actin like Curl Joe... "Cut it out you" *mmmmm*
jalen911as he’s too real
I felt so sorry for him when he said that. 😭
physics: pounds per square inch
chael: pounds per minute
foulfortune Pounds per minute X buses per carrot = a black belt for Wanderlei.
pounds per minute it is then
It's an April fools day joke
Physics: Okay great Chael.
When you got a fat chick riding you.
Chael makes a simple question and turns it into a lecture. What a legend.
Take notes
He ain't wrong though🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, I enjoyed it
😆 🤣 😂
Chael hits so hard they measure his punches in “pounds per minute”.
Lol
😂😂
That is what the P in Chael P. Sonnen stands for.
E-HR The P stands for undefeated
*tons
Quite literally the last thing I ever would have guessed the answer to this is a back hand from Demian Maia from guard.
Yea if you had that option among 50 others that's the last thing I thought I would hear
says alot about maia doesnt it? worlds most boring fighter and worlds hardest hitting fighter of all time
@@DMalek it explains a lot though. I'm gonna go back and rewatch it. All I remember was the lateral drop into a triangle. Still the best submission I've ever seen outside of maybe the flying scissor heel hook or gogo.
As somebody who suffers occasional TMJ dysfunction, its awful pain. That POP he heard, was the head of his jaw quickly and violently popping out, and back into the joint on his skull. It such a sensitive area. Facial nerves, cranial trigeminal nerve ganglion is right there, your inner ear bones and organs are right there, and it ALL hurts.
Ever have a really bad sore throat, that you start feeling pain in your ear? Or a toothache that starts causing ear pain? There is nothing wrong with your ear. Too many sensitive things in the same area. The wires are crossed. One thing hurts, and it all starts to hurt.
I went back and rewatched the fight. I never fought once in my life so what the fuck do I know but it really is intriguing that that was the punch that hurt him the most. I would have never thought anything of it at all just by watching the fight normally, it seemed like it didn't even hurt him at all. Fighting is fucking scary eh?
I always said: Bisping has that bust-you-ass-up power. He made guys quit from the pain. For me, that would be far more satisfying than a KO.
Dude his fight with mayhem miller hurt me to watch. He beat him up so damn bad. The Cung Le fight too. Bisping is a bad man
@@brians7901 Ohh yeah lol. The Miller fight was 3 rounds of Miller getting slowly tourtured to death lol
He has one of the best cardios in middleweight, he may not KO people that much but damn his volume striking is impressive.
How can Chael P Sonnen answer a question about the hardest he’s ever been hit - when nobody has ever landed a single shot on him?
BECAUSE UNCLE CHAEL CAN DO ANYTHING. UNDEFEATED AND UNDISPUTED!
The real question is just how good is Chael Sonnen's dentist?
Clearly not that good.
When you're Chael, dentists ask for appointments to visit you.
Never lost a single tooth I reckon
Dentistry, guys get plaques for fighting plaque. This is a very real thing.
First of all, uncle Chael is undisputed did he ever get hit in a fight? 🤪
“Michael Bisping hit me so hard”
Jack Powell all I was thinking about when seeing this title haha
bisping: let me bang mate
chael: i cant let ya bang
@POOR PIRANO tony ferguson the type of guy that lets jullian bang
Welcome Jack. Welcome to the Borns Losers Club of America. We have no girlfriends. We try to pick up girls but they always reject us because of our below-average looks. We are not successful in life. I did not get a UFC contract. Nor did I make a career like Chael Sonnen in the UFC. I am a born loser Jack, just like yourself. I have no girlfriend. I work as a security guard. Girls reject us all the time. We are born losers when we are members of this club. No idea how to get out of this membership.
@@raymysterio7240 Micheal Bisping: Let me bang bro
Chael: *I CANT LET YOU GET CLOSE*
Can you imagine him actually saying stop it to an opponent? Chael: Michael, stop hitting me, it really hurts! Michael: Oh, sorry mate.
Patrick Shelley lmaooooo
Patrick Shelley Michael: oh sorry buddeh
I remember Adesanya in an interview after the Romero fight talking about getting hit in the 1st round and how it didn't hurt but he felt the thud and knew he had to be careful. That makes so much more sense now
The hardest hit that uncle Chael took was when he was practicing that godly spinning backfist on Silva resulting in a planned fall where he hurt himself as part of this gameplan. Undefeated, undisputed.
And never lost a round!
Lol
Hahahaha
I'm laughing so hard!!!!
Was that when Silvas leg hit uncle chals hand?
"The Hardest I've Ever Been Hit..." ah Chael's about to tell a story about that time he punched himself
Uncle chael runs around the earth and socks himself in the back of the head
"I want to show people that you can win the fight without hurting your opponent." -Demaian Maia
I met this guy and trained with him once, we exchanged introductions. Months later he approached me at one of his MMA shows, shook my hand and remembered my full name from meeting me once. Dude is so well spoken and a great, who was smart enough to develop a persona.
Me: Uncle Chael what is your favorite color?
Uncle Chael: That’s trick question, I have a favorite color and I have a color I like the most. Let me explain...
(5 minutes later) Still no answer
.
And by the way, as I told Helen Yee while I had her giggling like a schoolgirl, I'm colour-blind, but that just makes my favourite colour that much more impressive! OK great!
fuck this was funny LOL
Jeff Kemp hello fellow Kemp...I’m glad Uncle Chael keeps us connected
@@JoeKemp Lol, me too. Thanks Chael!
Gotta love uncle Chael. Sometimes his ramblings make no sense, but they’re still entertaining
Chael-"I can feel my teeth breaking on one another"
Chael's Dentist-"ok great"
Stupid comment
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
*khabib ran away*
Because he says ok great like every 15 seconds😂
@@jimmattis2937 from idiots like you maybe. But not out of fear. Because it's painful being around stupidity that stupid. In fact, Ow
Great video chael, when you were explaining the hits. I went to search the fight. It adds a new level of watching the fight. A new level of connection with the fight. Definitely keep this segment growing. It's so awesome. Get other fighters on the show and do a segment. Great podcast.
Oh Chael, this was such an eloquent explanation. The physical vs the rest of it. I so get what you’re saying and more fighters should address this. You’re the undisputed. ❤️
Tony Ferguson is the type of guy who has comments made about him on completely unrelated videos.
I will so steal that. Lol.
I have waited 8 month to re use that comment only to find out another guy has already stole it.Ok great 😂.
Nah he’s got 1000s of people who use the same meme to do that
Understandable. But where does Kevin Lee fit in all this?
@@eelcoblaauw6689 and yet another uncle chael burner account.. how many do you have?!?
Chael "Mike stop doing that, it hurts so bad" Sonnen
Lol
I gotta say, I totally respect your honesty about your unpleasant moments in your career; loss, frustration, pain, etc. It gives competitive hopefuls an honest look into a fight career. Here's an elite competitor showing others how to be honest with themselves and others. 👏
great channel, i love the insight. thanks for your time
I haven't watched the video yet, but it has to be Bisping because that interview is in my recommended EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!
Easy Lee Demian Maia. Very close though!
What video
Ayy I thought he would say Bisping. That interview with Ariel always pops up in my recommendations every few months
I was at that Maia fight in London, thanks for sharing the story Chael, I even met you at UFC Manchester almost a decade ago and you were a true gentleman, thank you for all of the entertainment over the years!
This was an awesome listen. I love hearing this side of fighting
the hardest chael was ever hit was when he killed that mosquito against his leg. hardest the mosquito was ever hit too....
chaels thunder thighs tensed up just in time, otherwise his massive arms would shatter every bone in his leg
I really enjoyed this. I like the nuance between powerful enough to numb and powerful enough to hurt but not blackout. In hindsight, I know exactly what he means and I'd say there's a 3rd where the disparity in power results in just being pushed by a strike but not really being hurt by it. I've been hit by punches that sent me flying but didn't really hurt.
Uncle Chael, you are too good man... You are able to express the physical encounters of a fighter into words..Awesome man, God bless you, gangsta brotha!! Stay safe..
This is cool. Thanks Sonnen for sharing your experiences. Been a big fan of yours since your fight with Nate .
" The harder the punch the less it hurts " damn
It’s true,I’m not a fighter but I’ve been sucker punched and had my ass kicked more than once and my son hurts me more when we play fight.
I was front row at the Nassau Col in Uniondale, NY when Uncle Chael fought Fedor....
First big shot turned him horizontal in the air. It was insane. Like a torpedo.
Loved the story, not many fighters would share such info, more RESPECT 😎
What I like about you, is that, your truthful. Good stuff man 👊
Fantastic, fascinating-Chael is just super observant and an excellent natural storyteller. I’m not even a UFC fan anymore, but his stories are just tight.
Chael's content is always so interesting 👌 great story teller about the art of MMA. True legend of the game.
Painting a picture is his bread and butter.
Great video Uncle Chael! Thanks for the great quarantine content.
All jokes aside, i love these story !! Thanks for sharing your experience !
Chael never missed the spinning back fist, he just realized it could kill someone so he actually saved a life.
I just watched the fight between you and Maia and saw the moment to talked about getting hit with the back hand. I never would have thought that was a fight changing moment, you honestly didn’t even flinch. It did look like a nasty hit but wow! These types of breakdowns are super interesting Chael.
I concur. Excellent explanation. BGI 2020
Great vid and great channel Chael, you’ll always be a legend in this fight game.
The thing that makes you feel the pain of a hit is the heart behind it and the will of the opponent
The way fedor floored him everytime he touched him I figured he’d say him
Haha true that man but that's what hes saying tho, those ones you barely feel or don't remember. I've been knocked out 3 times don't feel or remember a thing for them. But being blindshot and not being knocked out had me out of sorts for a couple weeks
He actually explained that
Same
"I don’t think I’ve ever been ground-and-pounded like that" he said after fight Fedor. I was sure he gonna mention smth about that especially considering it happened just recently
Hes talking physical pain shit I got knocked out and didn't feel a thing just remember going down and waking up when I hit the couch
Chael love your honesty and interesting perspective on being hit with a punch that knocks you dead out...no hurt until you wake up ...and one you have to consciousnesly feel if you want to survive a fight..thinking that really hurt ..what kind of man am I...flight or fight kicks in....awesome.....
You're a legend and a great American! I particularly enjoy the insight into my favorite sport. Thank you!
I remember the post fight interview after he fought bisping
He was arm wrestling himself, the pressure built and sweat drenched his hands until one slipped and he hit himself, and the other hand went through the table and caused a 5.5 on the rs.
Thanks for the cool share Mr Sonnen. Respect from Serbia!
One of the best rants I've seen from chael nice look behind the scenes
I’m going with Michael Bisping cause uncle Chael told Ariel Helwani so years back
When Chael asked to “allow me to show the difference”, I said “no” and turned the video off. However, I could not resist.
Cheals honesty is awesome
Outstanding! Candid talk.
The hardest Chael has ever been is was when reality is him that he is truly as great as he says he is.
I remember an interview of chael saying bisping hit me so hard
Great stuff. No UFC/mma going on right now, but just having Uncle Chael wax nostalgic is a very good consolation.
I really enjoy listening to your perspective on everything. Always just pops up on my feed didn’t even realize I wasn’t subbed lol. Have a good day everyone
-"Hey Chael, how's it going?"
-"It depends, if you are asking me how is it going making a reference, which you may be doing by the way, to how am I today, I would say that i need a parameter to answer you correctly, ok great, truth is, today I'm great but if you are asking me how my channel is going, I would say even BETTER."
Trick question. Chael Sonnen has never been hit.
Great story chael! Love the videos
You're so interesting. The way you tell stories of course, but the humility you bring, brings more truth to them.
I just subscribed bc I never watch one boring videos of yours.
I understand that Tyson was a scumbag and that his level of fame was at another level, but he also became very humble now
Good job
Chael! Totally agree I’m 150 and was hit on the street by a 225 ripped freak I remember the entire hit..too my left cheek flying backwards well aware of everything feeling the warm liquid flowing down my cheek and bouncing up immediately ready to finish... ohhh and did I .., of course I did!
Lol
"I can still feel.... the fearrrr, of my teeth, BREAKING!"
This is exactly how I felt too.
I've never tapped so quickly in my life.
We're proud of you, Unc - this is like one of your best uploads this year!
I think this is the realest I've ever seen him, or perhaps any fighter....
Even more respect bro.......
The thought of my teeth doing that kills me
"Ron Lyle hit so hard it didn't hurt" - George Foreman. He was talking about one of the most entertaining slugfests in boxing where he was knocked down twice, but still ended up winning(by KO).
George literally lost IQ points in that fight
Uncle Chael's stories and explanations are the best!! 👍
Really interesting points! Perspective is everything!
Chael “Pounds per minute” Sonnen
"Michael stop doing that, that hurt so bad." Literally can't stop laughing 😂😂😂
Your awesome that you can talk about loss like that. Your a true warrior
This was a particularly awesome video.
Bisping! Haven’t watched this yet but I remember the interview. Ohhh.... You just told us
I would say that Anderson knee hurt him pretty bad. Made him turtle up into the fetal position.
Chael - fascinating analysis
What my favorite comic book superhero has a youtube channel get out of town i've been waiting for this moment for 75 years and counting
Just waiting for when Chael starts to talk about something other than MMA. He’s so fun to listen to. Like how he cooks spaghetti even. I’d even go for that.
I remember the interview you gave back in 2011, after fighting Bisping, you said something along the line" If Michael realized how hard he hit me, he'd come in and do something about it"! That fight was a battle from beginning to end! I think you even mentioned that you thought Michael perhaps could have won, 2 rounds to one. That was entertainment in the highest levels!
Chael Sonnen I love watching this show. You keep it different man. You keep it real
Some really good points in this.
Chael: Tapping is not natural...you have to train to tap.
Mcgregor: hold my proper 12...
Shutter Nomad: No doubt huh 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏿. McNugget even taps out after 2 shots of his own 🥃
Nothing hits harder than Uncle Chaels face hitting your fist.
Your humor is just gold!
Hey Cheal,
Just wanted to send big respects, followed and enjoyed your career and value and respect your opinions.
Thanks and Regards,
Jamie,
From England🏴
The hardest Mr Sonnen has been hit was by himself on accident trying to open a jar that no man had every opened before
"pounds per minute type thing"
Great stories Chael Sonnen. Mahalo for the insight.
I don’t know why, but I can’t stop watching chael talk, I can keep listening for at least another 6 hours
Left hook Larry???
uhhh my sports gambling addiction hit my bank account...hardest hit I've ever seen
Love the show Chael
Watching your fights, your crazy man!!!
The Nevada State Athletic Commission hit him the hardest with a 2 year suspension for roids
🤣
Science : pounds per square inch
Chael: pounds per minutes
Science: pounds per minutes
My tire pressure used to take 28 PSI, now it takes 2-3PPM’s
This is such Golden content into the insights of MMA. 🤘
I watch you every day cheal. I went back you fought the best. You took a beautiful Punch with the best.
