  • Follow up from my previous S&S Grand National Exhaust System on my Indian FTR1200S.
    In my previous video I made the mistake of overlaying music over the action footage. I wanted to provide this video to viewers so they can hear the sweet sounds of the exhaust system at work.
    This particular system has a "cat delete" It did require some tuning and I am told that S&S doesn't really offer the cat delete anymore.
    My honest opinion is that this exhaust with CAT delete is extremely loud.
    It is fine for me riding stunts and performing at shows but as an everyday rider I do believe the sound of this exhaust with the CAT is a very nice and tolerable sound.
    I hope this video is both enjoyable and helpful to some of you.
    Thanks for stopping by!

    Sounds good in the video, but anyone who likes it needs to hear it in person. My buddy just bought the race rep and almost immediately ditched the cat. It sounds soooo good!

      Thank you! Yeah definitely can’t please them all. This video had a bit of an intended purpose so I can see why people wanna hear the raw sounds. Thanks for the positive feedback and tuning in 👍🏼

    Well, I came to hear it bark but stayed for the hooligan show.
    I don't know what to "really" think about the sound.
    I think it would sound great live but here thru my shitty TV speakers it sound like any other un-corked V-Twin.
    Stay safe and keep honing your awesome riding, it makes for fun videos.👌😎👍

    That pipe looks best. But that Vance pipe you had on old scout sounds better imo

    Was this stunt run on the factory tires or something else. ?

    Currently have a s&s slip on without the baffle in and the cat still in place. Curious how much louder your set up without the cat and a baffle in is then what I’m running?

  • @rlovell383
    @rlovell383 Před 3 lety +1

    Awesome. Do you have the baffle in the muffler?

    • @TonyStunts1
      @TonyStunts1  Před 3 lety +1

      Yeah the baffle is in but the cat is gone

    the only thing i don't like is that swing arm, looks too skinny xD, apart from that really nice looking bike.

      Why do you say that? There is never a reason to flat foot both feet. No athlete competes flat footed (except maybe a dead lifter) and weight is always transferred, it's the same when riding. You only need one leg to touch the ground at stops. I know guys shorter than you who ride full dresser 800lb Harleys with 13.5 taller than stock shocks in San Francisco where the sidewalks have fucking stairs because the hills are so steep! Learn how to shift your weight.

    Downside to the FTR..... goofy wheel/tire sizes.

    • @TonyStunts1
      @TonyStunts1  Před 4 lety +2

      I hear ya. I think it was all about maintaining a flat tracker style but not many tire manufacturers actually have a matching set for both sizes.

    • @exothermal.sprocket
      @exothermal.sprocket Před 4 lety

      @@TonyStunts1 It's a serious short sighted issue by the manufacturer. Tires are wear items. They need replaced often.
