I used to love using Google Flights to make an itinerary to fly around the world with a few rules. 1. No flight over 10 hours. 2. Only use airline once 3. Only use plane once (737-800 and 737 Max 8 considered different.) I start and end in Indianapolis to make it that tad bit different. Loved the video, keep it up!
Would you consider Scoot and Singapore Airlines to be different airlines? How about KLM Vs KLM Cityhopper? If the 737-800 and 737 Max 8 are considered different, would you also consider the A320ceo Vs A320neo to be different? How about the A330 with Trent 700 Vs A330 with PW4000 Vs A330 with CF6? Just curious

I've been noticing domestic flights being kept extremely dark in the past couple years. In the winter it's possible to get to the airport on the west coast before sunrise, fly in a dark cabin, and land on the east coast after sunset. It makes my jet lag so much worse than it should be with only a three-hour time difference.
Another great video. Thanks Dan. Like you, I hate enforced darkness on daytime flights. It makes the flight seem so much longer and is so much more exhausting. The worst thing is that often 95% of the cabin is trying to stay awake and just watching their screens....in the dark.
I think the reason the crew forced the blinds closed, is for security reasons. Since the government doesn't want to risk foreigners filming possibly sensitive locations. During the USSR period, foreigners were forbidden from domestic flights for this reason.
Hey Dan, glad you’re able to get copilot to work for you, so you can continue your workouts! Be careful about desserts and airline food however because I don’t even eat one dessert a week if I’m not traveling, but can easily eat two or three of them on one leg of a business class flight!
