  • BMW's R nineT is a retro-modern icon loved the world over for its style and its capable performance. In the years running up to 2021, the culture couldn't be stronger, as the bike has accrued a cult following with the custom crowd-and Jinno. Propelled by BMW's heritage boxer engine, and with its 1,170ccs of displacement, it produces 110 hp and 115 Nm of torque.

    I must praise Jinno and the Motodeal channel for conducting reviews in english. I have been watching for some time and the humor by Jinno makes the reviews entertaining and informative. The climate and traffic situation between Malaysia and Philippines is very similar and much of the reviews are around the same bikes we all get. Most other channels are in native tagalog so it's very refreshing to watch Jinno provide his candid views and opinions (in english). Keep up the good work Jinno!

      @drdrew3 Před 2 lety

      My first three bikes had none of those options as they were not available at the time. You changed gears based on your feel for the power band. You got gas when you switched to reserve tank. You drive whatever speed the road conditions called for. All those options you require are unnecessary if your just become one with the machine - much better riding experience without being dependent on technology

      Not gonna happen. BMW keeps the Scrambler price down by using more basic suspension and brakes than the more expensive models. The expectation is that owner’s will modify with aftermarket parts if they desire an upgrade. The most you can expect is some greater adjustability in future model years.

    20 km/l is not good?? You are on a 1200cc bike! Come on! The supernakeds like the Ducati Streetfighter V4 I own = 12 km /l when you do not ride it hard... I agree it MUST at least have a fuel gauge (the much more expensive Streetfighter is also without a fuel gauge!). The R9T handling is NOT really good in the bumpy twisties and I find my one uncomfortable. For the price there are a lot better bikes!

    Can we see the previous 718 options? this one is plain ugly... NineT Racer was the best looking one of all, or the "basic" black one.

    • @drdrew3
      @drdrew3 Před 2 lety +1

      The Racer seating position is not tolerable for most riders which is why it sells so poorly compared to the Option 719 Classic. And “ugly” is really a matter of taste. The RnineT is widely considered the most gorgeous retro roadster on the market. There’s a color option and graphics package for every taste - even those that are stuck on basic black. Cheers

    •  Před 2 lety

      @@drdrew3 Racer doesn't sell poorly... it was promptly discontinued, and you are right the riding position is awfull being the clipon risers the best option to kind of solve this. And Yes, the RnineT is lo-ve-ley. I find the black (original model) one one of the most good looking motorcycles in the world but here in PT it costs an arm and a leg and it cannot be one of yours... comparing poorly to a z900rs or even a thruxton RS. What I was saying was exactly about THIS color option (and a lot of other options like the gold-bling-bling-for-UAE-Approved options). Option 719 colors always feel as excessive "look at me" options... The Best looking 719 option is the metallic/aluminum look that existed as an option before 719 was a thing. But again you are completely right. The nineT is on my bucket list.
