  • On April 15th, 2023, the Black River Railroad Historical Trust hosted another photo charter event featuring steam locomotive #60. This engine was built in 1937 by the American Locomotive Company (ALCO) and worked for the Great Western Railway in Loveland, Colorado. The locomotive is a 2-8-0 Consolidation type. The engine is sporting a Grand Trunk Western Six-Chime whistle for everyone's listening pleasure.
Watch as the engine performs awesome run-bys at various locations along the Black River & Western Railroad! The first part of the video is mostly on the former Central Railroad of New Jersey (CNJ) in and around Flemington, NJ. We'll then turn south on a former Pennsylvania Railroad branch towards Ringoes, NJ.
