This band is absolutely brilliant, the lovely lady playing guitar and singing in the beautiful evocative Brazilian Portuguese language is just so good. All the band players are excellent I am particularly taken by the piano player and trumpet player who have adapted some wonderful jazz to the bossa nova samba rhythm. Only recently came across this artist. Very impressed with the whole group topped off with superb vocals. It got me thinking if this had come out 30 to 40 years ago Carl Jefferson would have loved them and they would have been signed to Concord Records. Great music is timeless.

Wow.. Wow.. Wonderful! I can't believe I just found out such a great band. They seem to have been hiding on the opposite side of where I live, Korea. First the nice vocal and the drum came gently, then the lovely piano and the unforgettable trumpet, and last, more surprisingly, the romantic bass. What a great band this is! (This band makes my heart hot like summer though I have winter.)

Kye Palmer is one of those musicians…Dude has a awesome sound and really knows how to fill space with truly great ideas. Hearing him play makes me want to go home and practice right now. So glad I came across this vid today.

Just discovered this band a couple weeks ago. I'm back for more. Guitar and vocals are flawless. Everyone is in the pocket, solos are masterful and I am transported. I can't remember when I've heard a better ensemble. Simply top notch, as my dad used to say. Merci beaucoup, Ms. Penteriche!

Os jovens irmãos Marcos Valle e Paulo Sérgio Valle compuseram Samba de Verão, música e letra respectivamente, em 1964. Em 1965 a música foi gravada várias vezes, quase todas em versões instrumentais. A primeira a gravar uma versão em inglês da letra, criada por Norman Gimbel, foi Wanda Sá, acompanhada de Sergio Mendes Trio, em 1965.
