The fact that this bird feels secure enough to stick that close around is pretty impressive
The little bird never misses a learning session with Peter Chan! :)))
The biggest lesson it has learned is when Peter brings a pot to the table, dinner is served! It eats the worms he uncovers digging the roots out.
It's actually just cgi
His little buddy saying What're ya doin....and why ya doin it?
the opportunistic little robin completely steals the show!
Merry Crysmas from spain

Photo Bomb Bird...
😂🤣😂🤣😁😁
Such confident little bird 😂😂❤
Seems like you've been chosen as a Disney princess Peter!
#72
Peter must be a Disney Princess for animals to be so friendly 😻
Peter not realizing we are not listening to him because we are watching the bird 😂
Instablaster...
Who ever added that bird did a great job. Just joking, what a surprise!
That bird wants his tree back.
That bird has been in a few videos. I wonder if Peter feeds him because he does not seem to be afraid of peter at all.
@@stevenmyers2252 Peter doesn't need to feed him, because when he styles the trees and removes some of the earth to see the roots a bit better bugs and worms come out of it which the bird will pick up.
That’s Robin ... he’s Peter’s apprentice. He helps tidy up all the worms 🐛 🤣
St. Peter of Assisi
The Help Robin is so keen!
i appreciate that you make it possible for inexperienced ppl like me, to use what tree i have rather than have to buy extravagant plants! thank you
awww, I made one of these for my family this year, perhaps at the same time as this filming! It's been hard to do things as normal this year. I saw a 30 cm dwarf alberta spruce at the local grocery store, and went at it. I love the idea of putting holiday love into the same tree year after year. Its also small enough to fit higher up on a shelf so little hands can get into our tree.
Bonsai has made life better at home for sure. My 15 month old son loves to visit "plants plants plants" and "tREEs!!"; they help him settle when waking up is hard, when teething pain is overwhelming, or when he has a hard fall. Thanks to everyone at Herons for helping me build the confidence to bring some magic into our home this year. Words fall short of my gratitude. Everyone stay safe and lets make 2021 a time for growth and healing!
I can’t pay attention to anything but the bird hopping around. It’s spunky attitude is just too cute.
16:12 rip headphone user, loved the vid .
My heart jumped out of my chest
Thanks for the warning lol
Robins, the gardeners friends!
Your Robin is so amusing.
Peter is so lucky to have a friendly Robin as a friend. So natural
Your little robbin is soooooo Charming.
Thank you.... 🙏 😔 🙏
Dr. Chan, you never repeat yourself, you may cover the same subject matter several times, but you never do or say the same thing. I am a late, newcomer, but so far this is true. So much knowledge to impart.
The Robin is only ensuring that the moss is applied,,,, just so.
🙏 🖖 🙏 😔 🙏
Smbiosis: Peter’s bonsai project and the little robin.❤️
Merry Christmas everyone and especially Peter for taking the time to show us this video :)
Thanks Peter. I bought a small tree for the dining room this year to cheer my wife up and plan to bonsai it after Christmas. This was perfectly timed.
Those roots look brilliant
The Robin stole the show. 😀
Awwww! Little robin sooooo cute)))
Merry christmas Peter n mister Robin , and all you tree lovers 🌳💚🌲
Peter is the Bob Ross of Bonsai
Cheeky lil robin.
Love the bird!
We are ready for the follow up video. 😃
How fortunate the museum staff!
Please don’t shy away from repeating yourself! I learn so much!!
Thank you for showing us another formal upright! I really like the style because it reminds me of the old growth trees back home in the Pacific Northwest. Also, the robin investigates the moss that you've just put on the tree because it's a disturbed environment, and disturbed environments tend to be easier to forage from. You could try scraping somewhere else un the greenhouse after you put moss on your new bonsai and see if your new activity catches the robin's attention. Still best to screen the new moss on the trees!
How cute, little Robin redbreast is your friend 👍
That bird is a hoot.
“I hate rules.” Love it! Best Peter-ism to date!
Merry Christmas everyone. :)
The Robin is the bringer of new growth and transformation
Appreciate the repeating lessons. With each view I am more ready to tackle my first project.
Hello Peter, a nice Bird in the Background . Many Greetings to you and Robin.
I don't think I will ever be in his neck of the woods but if i do I hope I can visit his greenhouse.
Merry Christmas!! 🌲🎅👍🏻
33:03 same problem as you 😆
@MaxInLA Yes exactly! 😂 Robins are very cute but they can darn well leave my trees alone!!
Merry Christmas to you, Mr Peter and whole your beloved ones.
And all bonsai lovers as well.
Merry Christmas
You forgot to mention the red robin....
bravo to the camera man... i feel your shoulder and back
What a nice project and what a beautiful bird you have there Peter
Vera Nice! Love to see the tree back in a year! Nice Robin btw
How amazing to have a Robin around while bonsai to a xmas tree. Happy and stayed for ages. Great tutorial too. 🌲
Merry Christmas to all, especially the little bird!
Lovely form coming from a master. I so wish I could take classes in person from Mr. Chan, however, these videos he provides for us are enough to get me to look at every tree as a potential bonsai ! I have tried my hand at three trees now and although I do not have the experience of Mr. Chan, I am pleased with how they turned out. I gave two of my friends my oak and maple and they love them. Thank you for taking your time and love for your craft to teach. Oh, and thank you for providing such background entertainment from your little robin. A friend in Justin, Texas, USA
This is really nice but that is also a gorgeous tree to your right!!!!!
Even a bird can understand this new style Christmas bonsai. Simple and sophisticated.
What a lovely comment. Simple & sophisticated design. Timeless Christmas gift. Win-win. 🎄
The little bird looking for any worm... That good energy between humans and all nature there. Made me tears!
Thanks for all your work Peter and the Team at Herons Bonsai. Happy Christmas to you all.
This dude's soul is so pure that wildlife is literally frolicking around him without care.
Merry Christmas Peter. Thank you for keeping us entertained during this difficult year. Best wishes for 2021.
That little bird was so fun to watch!
As a bird person, I believe that the little Robin really likes You !! 💚
Love that he says one meter is to tall when he always goes on about loving massive bonsai and saying it while he’s next to a massive pine that’s at least the same hight 😂
Based on your previous videos, I transformed my little Christmas tree from last year into a bonsai in spring. It looks soooo pretty! This year we rent a tree, so it won’t be a bonsai, but I will get the tree of my father in law, so I will make a bonsai out of it as well.
Thank you so much for your videos and guide!! Adore your work! 🥰 Merry Christmas!
Thank you for all of your videos. It's been something to look forward to each week and I have learnt so much. Happy Christmas xxx
2:15 you’re a Disney princess
I love this man
Merry Christmas to all. Your videos during the year have been very inspirational.
Mr. Robin is helping you organically, eating any insects that come out of the tree for you. Nice tree. Merry Christmas!
Love that robin 😁😁

Merry Christmas Mr. Chan and your family and staff! Thanks for the soothing instruction and keeping the little bird entertained!
Really lovely little bird💗💗
When I was at primary school we did a song, "When the red red robbing comes Bob Bob bobbing along, sweet song....."
Thx for sharing Peter 👍👍 have a great happy holidays to all..
Love this
One more times gotten down after a stressful week, thank you Peter that you bring me down. You Peter and your little robin - again you are the best anti stress Therapy for me! Thank you so much for beeing the way your are! I wish you and your Team and the Family all the best for the upcomming days and the hopefully better new year 2021. Please stay healthy and go on with making these super Videos! Also for the whole community "HAPPY NEW YEAR"! Keep at home for a while and keep healthy too.
That bird is cool.

I loved the little Robin landing on the table top 🥰 It must love what you do too
beautiful
Mitico il pettirosso curioso senza paura 😍 complimenti per il lavoro👍💪
Happy Holidays to you, Peter.I am glad to have found you this year. Your videos are beautiful, educational, and relaxing. I have learned a lot. My garden has several trees and bushes that look a bit bonsai. Even the tree trimmers noticed and I heard them talking about it during their lunch.
thanks! will be doing this!
A pleasure to watch, as always. Happy Christmas to you and your Family.
I'm looking forward to hitting the garden centers this weekend and seeing what is on clearance. I'm glad to see that I can cut the top off, I have a Colorado blue spruce in training but I find it a bit too tall. Was afraid to "top" it.
How apt on Christmas Eve. And the Robin puts in another guest appearance.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone. Stay safe.
Thanks Peter. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas. Robin must be bird Heaven there.
I have been watching your videos for a little while now, you always lighten the home and brighten my day! 💖 You are such a kind and amazing person, I hope to visit your nursery one day and be able to purchase a tree you handcrafted myself! I wish you all the best and a beautiful blessed new year, to the sweet beautiful little bird too!! Lol! Thank you so so much for all the fun videos and for the knowledge you share!! I am having so much fun playing with and planting bonsai trees!!! Thank you so so much again!!!! Much love from the USA 💝💕
Merry Christmas mr Chan, to you, your family, your staff and all co-followers here on your CZcams channel. Thank you for all those nice, interesting and instructive videos: I enjoyed them very much and learned a lot of it.
As a Finn I'm a bit jealous for those museum workers... But at least they can show off with crazy cool art of bonsai with Herons flair!
Happy Christmas!
As a Finn, honestly I'm a bit annoyed that it's paid for with by taxes. Don't get me wrong, i very much appreciate Peter's work and the education he shares on this channel for free, so much so that i'd be perfectly happy to voluntarily part with some of my money to support him. But I can't find any justification why I should be forced to pay taxes so some government employees can get bonsai lessons.
Regardless, merry christmas to you as well.
wow brilliant, just answered all my questions on how to prune my tree ! a beauty
Thx for the helpful detailed instruction.
Merry Christmas to Peter and everybody else.
the little robin just wants to help lol
superb
that is a fine looking spruce!
Our American robins have all flown south for the winter. When they come back is the first sign of spring.
I'm sure this robin know more about bonsai than many gardeners out there
Hi Peter, thank you for all the wonderful CZcams content that you are throwing at us. I bought some starter trees via your website, they look very nice and will make great bonsai!! I wish you, your family and employees a merry Christmas and a healthy new year!! Greetings from Holland.
