Extract from the third talk in Madras, 1984.

This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America.
The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'
We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.
Our videos contain thousands of subtitles in more than 25 languages, translated by volunteers from all over the world. If you would like to help us with translating subtitles, please contact us at digital@kfoundation.org

The most difficult and probably the most liberating thing you can achieve as a human. No image and just be
Ouvindo Krishnamurti sobre o sentir-nos feridos em nossa autoimagem vejo também como nos comentários que fazemos sobre este é aquele cometemos o mesmo engano de julga-los por imagens que estão em nós e não correspondem ao que eles são.
You don't know what you just said.
It's basically about leaving the narcissistic false self and embrace authentical being. The most difficult challenge for humans.
True
Gratitude to JK for such a precious and valuable discourse
The “I” is the image that we have created for ourselves. It is the ego that is hurt.
The problem with talking about images is I have found one tends to look for them as if there will be something static to be discovered. There is no fixed image to be found and I’ve looked for many many years so it’s something else or it needs a better description. It’s most certainly true we get hurt that’s all I really know for sure.
Great service by the entire team of Krishnamurthi Foundation by providing the subtitles in English, add free videos.

Everytime I listen to the master, I found clarity in his words. It is up to us, to face the facts. Thanks master.
I needed this today, thanks❤
K, in my opinion when it comes to self help is the best of the best.
its not self help its self abnegation .. kinda like the abnegation faction in the film Divergent .
There's no self help it's self elimination
True.
The Wounds become Mounds of hurt which have layers which must be peeled back to get to the root. From the root you will find your truth which will allow you to expand and grow. Breaking you out of the shell of your own hell.
Great message and insight.
It’s up to you
Great breakdown, unconditional truth solves for hurt and makes for humility. Funny how humility offers an opportunity to live a joyful life.
Incredible! Thank you!

when fragile and divisive minded humans create a label/an image for everything it is dangerous. you are my friend, my country, my partner, my… once there’s a label/image, it’s easy to attach onto standards/expectations. you are my friend therefore i expect this outcome from you..when your friend doesn’t meet that, you become hurt. this is my country, your country isn’t mine, therefore I will find every thing to defend my country, and since i’m stronger than you i might as well take your land. imagine a world where people saw every land they stepped foot on as my country, or even better just a country, how differently would we treat each other?
Who are you? Life. Thats all
Those crows don`t have any mental representation of themselves.
Yet, they make a great deal of noise and confusion, but none of them is comparing itself with another to see who has the ``winning noise``. We do it all the time instead.
If I create an image of how something should be in my mind, then, every time the opposite happens, the “what should be image” will react to what it sees as should Not be. So the battle begins. The outcome is the expression of hurt, anger, sadness, depression, violence and a whole lot of neurotic actions.
If we can see this whole process carefully and understand it, one will find that all of this is simply a ‘technical’ error caused in the brain. It’s caused by an illusion (me) that identifies with all our actions. Once we see this clearly the “me” (illusion) dissolves and the mind is set free. Then hurt is not possible.
