    Care to share how much you milled the heads? And push rod length? Truck sounds amazing! Excellent work!

      .030. Using morel lifters, I was still able to get away with 7.400 pushrods surprisingly.

      I did the same with 706 heads and valve/port work and ss3 cam victor jr intake.Your tune is a lot closer then mine is. Mine dosent rev up like that and breaks up when you try too but I hope to have it like yours one day.

    What’s the exhaust set up? Sounds great! Is it 4-1 headers with a Y and single pipe?? Or a X pipe and dual tip?

    • @GTPonYOU1
      @GTPonYOU1  Před 7 měsíci +1

      4-1 headers, equal length Y, and a single pipe out back

    Nice, what did you do for headers/manifolds? What cam are you running?

      Speed engineering midlength C10 headers. Couple small dents.
      Chinese copy of a Howard's 226/232. Ran it in my TBSS for 2 years until I switched to a BTR truck cam. Had it laying around :)

      @@billsibert7922 I couldn't ask for a better fit with the speed engineering c10 mids. 1/4 the price of application specific headers...sometimes good enough is good enough.

      Speed engineering mid length C10 swap headers with a custom equal length Y collector that I made.

      @Steve H can u show pics of how u installed them and were u had to dent it to make it fit mine hitting the steering wheel shaft ?? I bought a set

    • @GTPonYOU1
      @GTPonYOU1  Před rokem

      @@keithlozano9235 I took the steering shaft loose, installed header, and hooked it back up. Just had to dent around the motor mounts a little, and a small dent on passenger floor to clear the Vband I welded on. You might need to adjust motor mounts or play with trans mount height a little, but they went I. Super easy. I have maybe an hour into install.

      I have them set as far front as I can go and I cut the ears of the factory motor mounts to make clearance

    What's hanging below the motor, a 4.8 nutsack?

    • @GTPonYOU1
      @GTPonYOU1  Před rokem

      The stock power steering pump. Just tied it out of the way to get the truck moved out of the shop without barfing the contents of the rack... I have since made new lines to use the LS pump.
