Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during a national meeting of Scout leaders. The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is holding its annual gathering in San Diego, California, where Elder Holland was the keynote speaker during a breakfast meeting Thursday, May 26, 2016. www.mormonnewsr...
Boy Scouts gave me so much! It helped me see the wonder and beauty in God's many creations, including the God-given capacity for learning and growth in myself and those in my troop.
may heavenly father bless these fine upstanding priesthood holders. they are an example to all of us members here in england.
May all Young Men leaders everywhere take these inspired words and help them lead by example the young men needed to have their finest hours in this upcoming generation. How I love and appreciate your words this morning Elder Holland. Thank you for your love and example!!
So impressed by the dedication and love of faithful, stalwart men! Thank you for your amazing example!
That's my amazing brother up there on stage on the front of the Mitch Mobile.
So proud of all those young men.
Great presentation.
I love the Mitch Fennemore story! (Does anyone know where we can find the Mitch-mobile video on CZcams?)
Still, I dream of the day when the Church dumps scouting. We (the Church) could do such a better job by creating our own program. And in fact, with that new program we could then create at the same time a comparable program for the girls. In my view, in our church our young mens' right of passage is a mission, not knot-tying or an eagle scout project. Expanded Duty to God, not merit badge busy-work. Just an opinion here.
