Nerdy Correction: the droid in Rontos Roasters is 8D-J8, which is not the 8D8 droid in The Book of Boba Fett. He is of the same type of smelter droid and “prior to working on Batuu, 8D-J8 spent time on Tatooine with Jawas.”

I'll never forget seeing the original Star Wars in 1977. We were in our Junior year of high school and went to see it at the drive-in in my 1967 Camaro. Those were fun, simple times for sure. It's good being a gen-x or boomer!

Aw, the B1 Battle Droids are so funny! They're like the one thing that humanizes the empire, despite them being droids (they have lots of comedic moments in the Clone Wars series)

I love your glasses Kitra! My mom suspected I needed glasses as a child but on a visit to Disneyland she realized I couldn't read the signage in the queue for Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and that meant a one way trip to to the optometrist for me. Disneyland looked so much better on our next visit! 😆

I wear glasses all the time but for Disneyland trips I get disposable contacts, so I’m not having to switch between glasses and sunglasses all day. You both looked cute in the bounding gear!! Kitra, looking good in those glasses. I know what it’s like to look at a far away tree and be able to see LEAVES for the first time, like the world went hi-def. The Malu-run fruit thingies were also in Star Wars rebels.. in a fairly early episode, where Ezra and Zeb were sent on a mission for the purpose of learning to get along.
True, they made their Star Wars debut in rebels but their live action debut was in galaxys edge and book of boba Fett is using the design made for the parks
