Leeds United formed in 1919 following the disbanding of Leeds City F.C.but it would be Don Revie who made Leeds United one of the most successful clubs of the 60s and 70s and still one the most talk about teams in football history.

Right with you. Much harder to do these days, but still possible. It costs soooooooo much money to make that happen these days. I think Leicester were the last to pull off the miraculous, and it was a miracle when you look at who's been champions since 1995. But to even have a consistent top 4 team these days, you have to have both a huge amount of money & the right people in charge.

John Helm the commentator for that Leicester City game said the Championship was 'clinched' that day. Thats wrong. It was still possible to lose out going into that final game against Bournemouth .

Im an arsenal fan i hope leeds get back in the premier league like aston villa just have they are huge clubs like Nottingham forest and Sheffield Wednesday they should all be in the premier league not brighton and burnley and Bournemouth leeds 1998/2002 were a very exciting team under O'LEARY i think they tried to come to far to quick in terms of money spent they had smith viduka fowler keane huckerby bridges and that was just strikers 6 top class ones kewell was my favourite leeds player i enjoyed playing leeds as an arsenal fan

Leeds didn't need to spend all that money back in the early 2000's they had great youth player's and good players like martyn batty kelly radabe hopkin they didn't need rio ferdinand at one time they had 6 good striker's on the books smith fowler viduka keane huckerby bridges they tried to come to far to soon they were very exciting but player's like kewell harte bowyer woodgate smith baake were already there i never understood why they needed players like wilcox duberry dacourt mills matteo ferdinand johnson to come in when they had top players already there it was their downfall in the end i hope they get back up soon im an arsenal fan

All i know is Leeds utd and the whole of England mocked Rangers and said back in the first ever Champions League that they would make light work of us. Such a great side but not as great as Rangers back then. Who were one goal away from a CL final. Marseille cheated that year which is disgusting but we also beat Leeds home and away. Sorry Leeds fans 😂
