Hey man! I wanna get a flying V for Christmas and I wanted to ask you, is it a good guitar? Like can you store it somewhere safe and is it comfortable? Cuz I heard a lot of people hated flying V's.
Hey! Yes they're not necessarily the most easy to get used to, so a lot of people don't give them a chance and write them off. I got this guitar last November and bond and fall in love with it the more I play it. In my opinion, once you get used to it sitting down it's actually MORE comfortable than say a Strat or Les Paul, because it forces you to sit up straight and have good posture. The way the neck is angled sitting down is also similar to when you're standing up, so that transition to playing it standing up is very easy since it doesn't feel any different. I got mine used and it came with a hardshell case, so I just keep it in there. I believe they do make specific stands for Flying Vs as well. The guitar I have is a made in Korea 2004 Epiphone Goth Flying V, and since it's the only V I've owned I can only recommend that one. But short answer is yes, I love it and it definitely stands out since they're not the most popular guitar.

@@dragos8839 Thanks for the kind words, this is a pretty old cover so I don't remember what I used plugin-wise, but the guitar was an Epiphone Goth '58 Flying V with an EMG 81/85 set.
