Greetings from the UK! I've recently purchased the e-Nd module. In the camera menu, there's an option for 'Extended Manual ISO' Which will allow you to drop the ISO from 400 to 100 (in increments) so for those super sunny days you should be able to get some nice exposure without clipping. Hope this helps!
I like the eND for run and gun and it is useful 80% of the time. Like mentioned in teh video it does suck it is not a 10x. But in those situations when I need the extra ND I just put an ND filter on the front of the lens and remove teh interenal eND. So for me it is worth it for most situations. But is a pain to swap out when you need 10 stops of ND.
What other cine cams offer you more stops? Fx9 and c300 mkiii? The biggest hurdle for me is that you can’t clear it, there’s always a minimum of 1.7 stops?
Hi Josh, c300 is 10 stops. The variable nd adapter from canon is 9 stops. The FX9 also only has 7 stops. You're right you can't clear you need to switch then. I personally would be ok with switching but 7 stops is not enough Filtration for me personally.
Thanks for the info. No on-board ND system is perfect. Sony eND is limited from 2 to 7 stops, Canon have 2, 4 & 6 stop ND and 8, 10 electronically (with no intermediate steps). I think the Z-CAM eND is quite good, 1/3 stop increment is also a good option, while ideally finer increment as Sony, would be nice. And like Andreas said bellow, we can still add a 2 or 3 stops ND in a front of the lens.
This End filter is great no one will be shooting the sun so saying this isnt good enough is ridiculous only thing I dont like is that you cant take it down to zero for indoors or night shooting you have to remove it which is a bummer. Direct sun us a diffuser panel and you are good to go cause what professional actually shoot with harsh direct sunlight.? And when you do it's not often...
@@getfmlr they are not the flagship cameras the others are just outdated an no longer produced. All current and upcoming z-cams will have the swappable mount except it's some special z-cam camera.
6.7 stops is a lot, but if you need even more just slap a front filter ND on the lens. Buy a constant 2 stops ND filter and you effectively have 8.7 stops.
So what do you think about the eND Module? 😗
It's a good idea but as shown in your video it's not getting dark enough.
Thanks for your feedback.
Thank you for this video. Didn't find too much about that nd. 🙏
You're Welcome :) thx for your Feedback

Yes that’s true. Thanks for your feedback.
When I use it we can’t use ND clear? Must I get off this eND?
Yes the least amount of ND is 1.5 Stops. So to get rid off ND you need to set in the clear filter.
@@pauleporterdp okay thanks 😊
the ND from the RF mount seems better
Yes indeed

The design is great and I personally don’t know any Vari Nd that goes to clear so that was to be expected.
As Always great Video very informative. Thanks
Thank you for watching :)
Is it compatible with the m4?
No it isn’t
@@pauleporterdp wtf of course it its. The Canon EF Mount is compatible with any z-cam that is the whole point.
